Just get them to unblacklist your account - the moment its not blacklisted you can withdraw

2  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: BTCJam.com problems on: October 04, 2014, 03:01:01 AM
wct296, as stated in our e-mails, your account was blacklisted because our system detected it to be associated with an overdue account. We have removed you from the blacklist, but you will not be able to create any loans. If you are still experiencing troubles withdrawing, please contact support.

yes thats fine - but what if I wanted to do a loan? You wouldnt let me though a fault that I have no idea (and you wont declare information about) about and through NO FAULT OF MY OWN...

Am I being punished for someone else's actions?

FRigging stupid - how can I be part of the community if I cannot borrow? I've made it to A rating though doing the things that make btcjam money and now they are punishing me for it..

In short - screw you! Thats not how you foster a "lending community"
3  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: BTCJam.com problems on: October 03, 2014, 01:54:43 PM
yeh its a bit lame - I think I'll bail from it slowly (as loans come in)
4  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: BTCJam.com problems on: October 03, 2014, 12:59:38 AM
As a side note - it seems that if you are blacklisted - you cannot withdraw - the moment they took away the dodgy blacklist I could withdraw again

Way to go with the descriptive errors BTCJam

I FINALLY got a response back about my blacklist

***************
Our system has detected that your account has been associated with another that is overdue. We have removed you from the blacklist, but you are not able to any new loans on BTCJam.

Best,
Alexis - BTCJam Support

Where the heck did they get their information? I've never borrowed BTC on any site, ever (I'm an investor) - what a load of crap that I have been associated with another thats overdue? Whats the association? A referral?  Perhaps someone I left positive feedback for before has defaulted and I'm getting punished?? Stupid BTCJam - thats not the way you treat customers if you want them to hang around - we have other options!
6  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: BTCJam.com problems on: October 02, 2014, 11:14:50 PM
They are starting to respond to some clients on twitter - but all they say is they need to lodge a support ticket... good luck getting the ticket answered/responded to in a timely fashion Sad
7  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: BTCJam.com problems on: October 02, 2014, 12:37:40 PM
LOL BLC was the competition that I also use that I didnt want to mention, but now that someone else has, I too think its a better service/site.
8  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: BTCJam.com problems on: October 02, 2014, 12:25:40 PM
I've had support tickets lodged for several days now !  I guess we will just have to give them time - other users are complaining on facebook that the investments page is not loading too.. Maybe its just a server/technical issue
9  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: BTCJam.com problems on: October 02, 2014, 11:47:40 AM
Hmmm maybe thats why I was blacklisted.. perhaps I mentioned their competitor somewhere... I wont mention it here until I know they are not going to respond and wont say anything negative about BTCJam until they have had the opportunity of reply

I posted on their facebook and twitter to come and respond to this thread - hopefully they will set our concerns to rest soon.
10  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: BTCJam.com problems on: October 02, 2014, 09:42:41 AM
Damn - thats even more of a worry..  This is pretty much happened with bit-mining.co and some other websites that went dead on me.. these weird problems where they wouldnt pay out (simply because their wallet was empty) and support getting increasingly slow to respond, then bang it all disappeared along with my btc...

If they are a member of the bitcoin foundation - I wonder if we can lodge a complaint with them?? I guess we need to give them more time first.

I might post a link to this discussion on twitter and hope they respond
11  Economy / Service Discussion / BTCJam.com problems on: October 02, 2014, 05:44:11 AM
Hi All
I'm having a very hard time with BTCJam.com and their customer service

Firstly I tried to make a new investment only to be told I had been "blacklisted".. I have never been told I'd been blacklisted and when I asked why.. I finally got a response just saying pretty much "we will let you know".. I waited a few days and heard nothing.. So I thought, well if I cannot invest with my BTC I might as well withdraw it to use it elsewhere.. So I tried a withdrawal only to get "Error executing transaction".. I've been trying to withdraw for 2 days now and have contacted support at least a few times in different ways, no response.

Is anyone else having these issues? I used to be a really big user & supporter of btcjam but my confidence has all but disappeared..  Why they cant tell me why I was blacklisted and why I cant withdraw is very concerning. I've tried all the different tricks in forums/discussion threads about this withdrawal issue but none of them work. I've changed my withdrawal address and everything.

Have I been Gox'ed?

At this stage, whilst its still early days, I think I'd have to encourage anyone else with BTC in BTCJam to withdrawn (if they can).. just in case..  I'll post here if I get a satisfactory resolution

Normally their support is brilliant and I was really happy.. lately I cant get responses and I'm beginning to worry  Sad

The site reminds me of minersbit.com sooo much (which was a scam) ... PLEASE be careful and ideally avoid sending ANY money to them until they have been proven legitmate and around for a while

16  Economy / Scam Accusations / coinsbin.com - Is coinsbin.com a scam? on: May 22, 2014, 09:45:58 AM
Hey guys

having been burnt (but thanks to coinbase.com recovered losses) by minersbit.com I'm a bit cautious... I was wondering if anyone remembers minersbit.com and how they had click to pay links as well as mining contracts.... If so... does coinsbit.com look and feel strangely exactly the same as minersbit.com?

Personally I'm thinking its another scam and I'm posting here to urge anyone caution in investing in this entity. A lot of good people lost a lot of btc on minersbit.com and having been scammed on this and other sites I want to do anything I can to warn/avoid this happening again..

If the site truely is legitimate, to the people that run it, I apologise... but it needs to be discussed, proven and verified before anyone should trust this site too much.

Thanks!
17  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS] HashFast >400GHs Bitcoins Mining H/w, in-hand in Australia on: May 17, 2014, 11:08:15 AM
OK thanks

the fact that its cobbled together, has no warranty and could die tomorrow.. its not worth much more than 1.8btc IMHO - unless I can get a bargin I might just buy an Antminer S2 .. better on power too. Or some more S1's.

Cheers for responding
18  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS] HashFast >400GHs Bitcoins Mining H/w, in-hand in Australia on: May 17, 2014, 05:55:00 AM
Would you accept - 1.5 BTC for both... shipped to Perth WA
the way difficulty is increasing and the price of S1's (which I have a few of).. 1 BTC each is getting a bit rich, especially as these are cannibalised and second hand.
19  Economy / Auctions / Re: [WTS] Auction for Avalon 2nd Gen 300GH/s Unit with RPi + BFL Single 60GH/s Unit on: April 22, 2014, 11:09:58 AM
I'm tempted but I'm in Perth - Freight would be approx $150 to get it over here and the fact that it has been used in a non-climate controlled room is concerning..

I'm comparing it to buying Antminer S1's at 0.8 BTC each or a much more power efficient S2.. It will come down to power usage. I already have 4 Antminer S1's running in my server room.. if I go overboard I'll need a new electrical circuit Smiley

How many watts does each unit draw?

thanks!
