Sorry for your loss. I am not a big fan of coinbase either. Their 2 FA was not working for me for a while when they did Authy. I think they are somewhere responsible, because they are too weak, zero support.

We should keep an eye if GS will create any sort of Bitcoin future. A popular gold bug theory is that Gold future trades 1000 times of real gold. That suppress the demand because it create virtual gold. Bitcoin has 21m supply, that is it. Creepy GS may create 210 million bitcoin futures, that will be one thing to look out for.

Signature campaigns only pay a few dollars a week, if you get $5 a week, you are looking at 500 weeks, that is about 5 to 10 years. From my experience, when Bitcoin price rice, the pay out in bitcoin, will be reduced. But dollar amount is more stable.

Why not DASH? You know for sure someone will push it for you?

After some more reading, I think this is over optimistic. The only positive outcome is, activation of SegWit for LTC might, just might finally change situation for BTC.

I hope he will come out as the new leader in divided community. There is no trust between two camps. He can unite the force between coder and miner. As least I am happy he is trying.

They don't even have a English web site. Maybe Chinese web site.

SibCoin is a DASH fork, employing additional encryption algorithms devised by Russian cryptographers. The coin’s adoption has been growing rapidly ever since the first block was mined in May 2015. SibCoin’s masternode network volume continues to outgrow that of its parent coin (DASH).
In January 2017, SibCoin’s masternode network volume exceeded that of its parent coin (DASH), and the gap continues to widen. SibCoin is striving to become the driving force behind the consolidation of Russian blockchain community. A Chinese language implementation on its website opens the gate for China’s crypto-enthusiasts and professional traders alike.
Do you agree SibCoin could outperform DASH?
I just want to say : welcome my son. This is hilarious. As its name sounds they are sibling, brother sister of Dash.

Don't know what to tell you, think of china and the rest of the world ( excluding africa ). Almost everything is copied by the chinese, from handbags to entire towns even, no innovation whatsoever. ETC is china.
So there's no real point to it? Just cheaper No real point beside speculation. You can xerox copy anything, it doesn't mean you can understand it. Pretty sure ETC devs don't fully understand ethereum, otherwise they wouldn't have chosen to take a crypto currency path instead of a crypto dapp platform path. Are you fucking retarded? You know nothing about what happened and yet you blame China. Go back google why ETC hard forked.

Before I start let me clearify that I am using name Mother Coin and Child Coin for convenience. Now my question : Is it possible to create a coin (we call it mother coin) which on stake creates a coin (child coin) with timestamp and a child coin be auto-burnt after a predefined period of time. The quantity of Mother Coin will remain the same in wallet but it will produce ( stake) a coin (child coin) in some ratio. The Child coin can not be staked and will die after a period of time.
Sounds like an interesting concept, do you have a use case in mind?

You got it wrong, we should watch the hashpower and not the nodes: https://coin.dance/blocksSegWit need 95% signalling while BU is the one that needs 75%. Why not a even play field? I don't mind lower threshhold to 55 percent and get it over with. Although I may prefer core, but I am just a tiny fish

I am surprised to find this out today. I thought in terms market cap, dash beat ETH already.

After 20 years. original bitcoin has been forked into countless bitcoins, we have name is btc1, btc2, ... btc??, BTU1, BTU2 ... BTUxx...

Cheers! How come BTC price drops? ETH price dropped before hardfork. Panic, FUD.... And what happened? ETH went from sub $10 to over $50, after the hardfork, and people got free ETC on top of that. Currently at $2 or a little less. So pricewise, the hardfork was the best thing that ever happened to ETH. In fact if BTC splits into BTC and BTU, then that BTC may be worth $5000 and BTU maybe $200, a year from now. Mind you, a hardfork means you get the same number of coins in both forks, so no matter which sides wins you are fine. You mean I have to install two bitcoin-qt, each use boat load of disk and ram. Don't tell me light weight client. I am old style and I old trust qt.
