1  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which one of those did you partake in? on: June 15, 2024, 07:33:32 PM
Whatever the amount is, your purpose to gamble may vary and we all have our own personal reason why we gamble.
The purpose for gambling should not be two as gambling should just be for fun. Another reason people gamble is to earn money but which is very wrong.

Losing is not fun actually but if you have a lot of extra money, then why not?
If you have a lot of money, it is better you channel it into something else that can be profitable and not use more amount of money to gamble.
2  Economy / Economics / Re: Saudi Arabia ends 80-year petrodollar deal with US. on: June 15, 2024, 08:08:55 AM
The US has been very centralized and sanctioned some countries which some countries do not like and it is leading to de-dollarization. Some decentralized money like bitcoin would have been better to be the world's dominant currency.

But most of this countries do not know the plan of China. I hope they will know that China is trying to have the world power and shift the power from the West to themselves. Countries like Russia and Iran also want that.
3  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to resolve gambling related wallet issues on: June 15, 2024, 06:04:25 AM
Unfortunately I don't think there's much recourse for the customer. If funds deposited are locked by the exchange, he will need to complete a KYC procedure, if not he will need to mix his funds or to convert them into another cryptocurrency on another exchange before sending them to this exchange again, and from another address of course.
I do not really understand you. You mean that the coin might be seized or locked in which the customer of the exchange that his fund was locked because he deposited from a gambling site will need to complete a KYC verification. That might be true but I do  not know. What I am confused about is that you further said 'if not', which means if the coin is not seized. If the coin is not seized, how can the person know that he need not to send coins from gambling site when he does not know. Or what you mean is that to avoid the coin not to be sized? It is better for the person to send the coin to a noncustodial wallet instead and not an exchange, especially if it is bitcoin because bitcoin transaction fee is high on exchanges than usual and this exchanges like Coinbase make the gambling rules hidden in their ToS. You do not need to convert the coin to another coin. People have said they send the coin to noncustodial wallet before sending to the exchange and no problem after they send it to the exchange.
4  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will ecommerce websites start accepting Bitcoin as payment soon? on: June 14, 2024, 08:37:11 AM
Bitcoin is easy to convert to fiat. If you are using a payment processor that is not accepting bitcoin, you can easily convert the coin to fiat. This has been what I am doing. I convert some bitcoin to fiat for spending.

There are many websites and e-commerce that are accepting bitcoin as payment. It may not be directly but indirectly through a payment processor. But I noticed that those sites may not offer bitcoin payment for people that wants to buy from another country.

If signature spam and shitposting is something that will keep this forum alive, then we should refrain from reports as often as possible - although realistically, compared to a few years ago, the number of reports is very low. It's not that there is no reason for reports, but it is obvious that many who actively did it got tired of the obvious fight with windmills.
There is nothing to get tired of. There are many people that are constantly reporting posts that are needed to be reported. What you can say is that some people were reporting the posts in the past but they are no more on this forum. But there are still some people that are still reporting posts that need to be reported. People that are reporting posts will likely keep doing that. If you have been reporting posts, do not be tired of it at all. It is exciting and makes this forum better.
6  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How often do you receive bonus bets/free spins? on: June 13, 2024, 04:43:26 PM
In slots it is quite common. It is what I play lately and it is not uncommon that you end up playing free spins from time to time. But at the end of the day you always have the HE against you, the only thing that can fix a bad session in a moment with a big win thanks to the free spins.
Yes I will say that also. In many sport betting sites that I am that are only having sports, their bonus is very low. I was thinking it is because they have many customers already. But there is one sport better site in my country that offers many bonuses to customers.

Congrats on your winning from the free bets, that's a decent amount of money but I'm wondering how much you have wagered before you get the free bets?
One more question, is the free bets you get come without wagering requirement?
What most people do not know is that they are losing much already until a gambling site will start giving them bonuses. They are giving them part of the money they have lost. Does time deposit bonus is not among.
7  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC mining pool question on: June 13, 2024, 11:19:44 AM
It’s the kind of pool where you invest bitcoin and it generates returns. If you invest $100 you get up to $300, $1000 and get up to $3000. Not sure if it’s cloud mining?
It is a very common way that people are scammed. It is better you avoid something like it but that is if you want to avoid scam.

I told a friend of mine to avoid cloud mining a year or two years ago but he did not listen. He paid the money and he later told me that the profit were sent to him, but just like 2 or 3 times and no payment again. Out of 100% money that he payed the scammer, he lost more than 70%.

Some are even just from scammers that will not pay anything back at all. You will pay the scammers the money and you will not be given any profit in return and you will lose the whole 100% money that you paid the scammer. This is very common. I am wondering why there are still many sites that have cloud mining and not yet banned till now. I think this type of scam should have been forgotten but it is still common.
8  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC mining pool question on: June 13, 2024, 10:46:58 AM
You know the person very well? Hope it is not cloud mining? If it is cloud mining, know that the person can be scammed or the person want to scam you.

If you want to join a mining pool, make research on these pools https://www.stelareum.io/en/mining/pool.html

You will need to buy your own miner (ASICs) and you will need to have cheap and good electricity. There are many mining reward calculators that you can use online to know if mining bitcoin can be profitable for you.

If you calculate it and it will not be profitable is what you found out, that means you do not need to mine bitcoin. There are other ways to earn like to invest in bitcoin at the right time.
9  Economy / Speculation / Re: Some bad uses of bitcoin. :'( on: June 12, 2024, 04:02:00 PM
Since Bitcoin is a completely decentralized currency, there is no way to know when and how much money is being sent to whom, both the sender and receiver remain anonymous. So Bitcoin is used to buy and sell various criminal and illegal products. So various arms smuggling activities are paid through Bitcoin. Also, all transactions on the dark web are done through Bitcoin. Which is very sad for us
Many bitcoin transactions used for illegal deals were known. How were these known? Bitcoin transaction is not anonymous but synonymous unless you use Tor with it. Fiat are mostly used for illegal deals.

It is essentially a perfect medium of transaction for all the terrorists and criminals of the dark web. This is why the governments of different countries have declared Bitcoin illegal in their countries. If these actions could be stopped somehow, Bitcoin would be legal in all countries of the world. But in any case, I hope that slowly Bitcoin will be able to gain legality in all countries.
Fiat are used for money laundering. The money laundered are in banks or somewhere in fiat. There are many people reputable in the public but are involved in money laundering. There legit businesses are used for it to block the trace.

Most terrorists are still using fiat mostly.

Bitcoin can not be illegal in most countries because bitcoin is legal in more than 90% countries out of 100% countries. This is because they see the benefits. Some countries made it illegal because they see it as gambling not because of what you are saying. That is why you will see some countries that ban gambling that also ban bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies.
10  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Do this to avoid killing your motivation as a newbie on: June 12, 2024, 09:34:36 AM
3: don't invest in any projects or offers that seems too good and high profits, no free lunch any where not even in free town.
This advice is also good but I see it more not to pertain to this forum in my opinion. But I want to ask a question which could be the reason you included it if your answer is yes. Do you think newbie success in investment can also help them to stay active on this forum is they are having profit in it? As for what I think, I guess it is no. But the advice is also good.
11  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Trading or gambling? on: June 12, 2024, 07:52:23 AM
Gambling is clearly a very dangerous activity for those who do not easily accept defeat, and this depends on luck even though there are some games that can rely on skill to play and win.
If really have goal of making money within certain period of time then trading and investment can be the main choice compared to gambling which has lot of uncertainty.
Some people will think of making money and not gamble but prefer to trade, then trading can let such a person to know that trading is very similar to gamble after losing money continuously. Anyone that is trading like day traders, they will let you know that trading is not that different from gambling if comparing the risks, but that trading is better if someone is professional in it. What I can say about both trading and gambling is that both are very risky and they should be done with small amount of money which the trader or the gambler can afford to lose.

Trading and investment are different. If you invest in a good and less volatile asset, it is less riskier than trading.

Advantage of trading or investing is that we determine all our own opportunities, it will depend on how we analyze and choose and even place buy and sell positions, even profits and losses can be adjusted according to conditions.
Even if you are the best person that can analyze the market and you are a day trader and telling people about your analyses, within just some days, they will see how wrong analyses can be. Analyses in trading is just like gambling, traders make use of strategies in order to make profitable trades.
12  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do You Understand Math? on: June 12, 2024, 06:20:07 AM
At best, when you find a mathematical formula that is quite effective, there will be times when you will definitely face defeat too.
If someone is gambling and thinks he has found the right formula for winning, the person is only deceiving himself. The person will gamble and still find himself still losing.

Have you noticed this in gambling before? You will gamble and win consecutively and think that you have seen an easy way to be making money in gambling. But as you continue to gamble, you will just know that you can not win the gambling site as you lose all to them again. This has happened to me like 3 or more times before thinking I got a strategy but not know it was rubbish.
13  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is web3 casino the new trend for casinos? on: June 12, 2024, 06:11:23 AM
We have no other option but to be this way, after all how many horror stories we have heard over the years about people losing everything because they trusted on the wrong person or company? So we cannot afford to be careless with our money, even if the amount is small, as you never know if that is how a skilled hacker can get access to the rest of your coins, and while such view may seem to be too distrustful, I prefer to be this way than the alternative.
It is very simple and do not make it hard as long as you go the right way. Use the right gambling site. If you use the right gambling site, you will have no problem from the site. But if it is a fake gambling site, they can go away with your money. Even in Web3, there is a way they can steal all the money that you have on your noncustodial wallet that you connect with the Web3 gambling site. If you are using small amount of money to gamble, this also makes it better because only little amount of money would be on your noncustodial wallet to gamble with.
14  Other / Meta / Re: Why are mod not locking long threads on the gambling board discussion anymore on: June 11, 2024, 12:42:10 PM
I agree that there are many threads there which should be locked but there shouldn't be a general rule that once a thread goes beyond 5 pages mods should lock it, that's automation, not moderation.
It was done like that in the past and it was not automation because moderators were doing it manually. Also that it is not necessarily mean the thread will get to the 5th page before it is locked. It can be locked at 3rd page or 10th page. I guess moderator stopped looking the thread for news threads of the kind not to be created just like Alpha Marine posted but they are still created.

If you lock the threads then people would just create topics for posts that could be on one board.
I thought of this but I noticed that many threads on the gambling discussion board are similar and related to gambling addiction. The only ones that I think should be left are the mega threads like EPL, Bundesliga, Seria A discussion and others like that. Also few other ones like Gates of Olympus versus Sweet Bonanza and Casino companies' responsibilities to rehabilitation institutions can be left alone.
15  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How were you able to handle a losing streak up to 5 times and above? on: June 11, 2024, 12:17:58 PM
Honestly, it is too hard to accept if we already assume to win because at the moment we fail, we really feel bad and disappointed and would raise our temper. A 5-time losing streak is not good but we can't blame other people for this nor the casino, we are just too unlucky not to get any favor.
Five losing streak is common in casinos. There are times I would win continuously before I will lose and there are times that I will lose continuously in casino. This is different from when you are betting on sport matches. If you read what the OP posted, you will see that he is talking about sport and not casinos.

In this case, I would rather stop and pause for a while because this already tells something bad, and the more we push through, the more we lose. Chasing winning is just like we are chasing losses, that is why it is necessary to know how to control our emotions and a need to stop.
What I noticed about my friends and including myself, if you are not betting on virtual matches and in-play, you may select a match today and wait till tomorrow or more before you will select another matches. There is always a break. We may have different experiences on this but I think you are talking more about casinos and not sport.
16  Other / Meta / Why are mod not locking long threads on the gambling board discussion anymore on: June 11, 2024, 12:04:00 PM
What I knew about gambling discussion board before was that if a thread is going more than 5 pages already, moderator will lock the thread. It was kind of fun at the time.

If you read the first and second page of threads, they are mostly what can be considered as non spamming discussions because only very little spam that you will see. But if it is getting to the third page, the spam increase.

Some people will just enter the forum and read what someone on page 1 posted and quote it and what he will post at page 6 or 7 or more. What would have been posted repeatedly on page 1, 2, or 3. Some people will even be posting what they have posted before on another way.

Please after page 3, why not locking the thread again on gambling board? It may no be done for all threads, but moderators can easily see some threads to lock instead of repetitive posts.
17  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Account wiped with $64k on Rollbit.com on: June 11, 2024, 11:46:17 AM
Even if you are connecting from a restricted area, I think the casino should not just freeze your account but freeze it in a way you will only be able to withdraw the amount that you deposited. But all money won would be removed and only your deposit will be given you.

You were using a VPN to connect and set the location to Spain? This is one thing that you should avoid on gambling sites. After you check the restricted areas from the ToS and your country is among, no need to use VPN.

If you are telling the truth, I hope Rollbit will be able to solve this in a way that will favour you and give you your money, including the money that you won.

This is their official account on this forum that you can send message to: Rollbitcom

Also we are expecting clarification from Rollbit on this thread.
18  Economy / Exchanges / Re: cryptobaron.org - fast cryptocurrency exchange on: June 11, 2024, 08:56:03 AM
Why having such a fake review on Trustpilot? What do you have to do with Bestchange? I am starting to doubt your exchange service. If you want to market your exchange and you want people to trust you, you need to be very truthful in a way people will not go against you.

I will advice you to get a manager on this forum that can help you make this exchange visible for more people to see. That would come with some services they will render you and which would cost you some money. You know you want people to know your exchange, marketing it is very important.

Let me mention some names of good managers that you can go for: Upgrade00, Little Mouse and AB de Royse777. You can go for anyone of them for your service.
19  Economy / Gambling / Re: ITF TENNIS MATCH FIXING LOOKING FOR BETTORS on: June 11, 2024, 06:00:47 AM
Likely this guy will predict a probable one and if winx he will take the commission. You are risking your money for generating profit for him lol.
If you lose the bet, you will receive nothing.
Exactly this is how it is. And the funniest thing about it is that the first match can just be lost. I have a friend that someone told him about match fixing, I told him that it is a scam but he did not listen but use small amount of money for it. He was given two matches and the two was lost. When I saw the match with bigger odds of 4 and 5, I told him again that he has been scammed but he did not completely believe me and said he wants to see it himself first if true it is or not. He lost bets of the two matches.
20  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: BC.GAME Sending emails with the title, ''Withdrawal Notification'' on: June 10, 2024, 08:48:27 PM
1. It is a fake email the hacker has sent a fake email to steal information from you by providing a fake link on the claim ticket. or
2. The title of the email is by mistake on the site. As they have not informed I think it is number one.
I am not receiving such email from the gambling site, probably it is directed to some specific users. What I am not sure about is the link that is correct that is on the OP image that it is the correct bc.game link. But I will not trust that until I will copy it and use any browser or text editor to check if the link is correct or not. All that will still come to my mind is that the email is fake untill I check the link myself that it is not a fake one. If it is a mistake from bc.game, that is a stupid mistake.
