Hey man, sorry to hear that...
It is probably that, I did spend an awful long time on the form before submitting my answers or thinking I did.

If you still want to continue playing, send 0.5 mBTC to the escrow wallet before tomorrow's game. If you're on the forum in the next hour, confirm that you're still in because Switzerland's game is starting soon.
F*ck it, lets do it. I am still in, I will be expecting the escrow address to pay into.

We'd be happy if you continue, but you're slightly playing against the odds this round.
It is just one game in the end, I was wrong for the Croatia game anyway.
You should not be happy that I am still in  Cool

I was almost sure I had filled this out, I did it last night before the Portugal game started, what could have gone wrong?

To be sure my answers were still pre-loaded now when I tried to submit again, could it be I did not click submit? That is probably it cause the system will not make a singular mistake.

I already submitted before reading this... is that a problem? When is the deadline for the payment?
To remain fair, I did not make any changes to the choices I had filled in before the deadline.  Smiley

Türkiye vs Georgia is my game of the tournament so far. The quality of football was great, especially the attacking, defending was not so good, but it was fast paced and end to end with lots of beautiful goals.

The pool amount means it is all to play for and winner takes all(both ways), which adds some excitement to it. Will be good if we get some reward for the best performer of a round.

2/57, we do have a tournament on our hands now. After all the praises jayce got from other players he manages to stay up at the last roll of the dice.

As the final match of this round gets completed, most of the favorites have not impressed at all. Spain were the most convincing against very tough opponents and winning comfortably, Germany were good, but they will need to be tested some more, Netherlands also made a good account of themselves. England/ France were lucky to get all three points and Portugal are struggling to get that now.

The officiating has also been decent this far.

Yeah only to survive but you will need to score as many point as you could as well if you want to win this tournament as well
Yeah, have to see a possible path to winning before throwing a couple of sats to buy back. We already have some players on 5 points so the pack is already playing catch up.

Türkiye and Georgia are putting up a show, arguably the most exciting first half of the EUROs so far.

That is not small odds at all and he wants to become a multimillionaire just very easily and he might be thinking gambling he could win it.
He could be staking a very small amount on the bet and testing out a new strategy, or he has done it previously and has had success with such strategies, there are so many possibilities on why a gambler made such a bet and we cannot reach any conclusion with a snapshot of a bet slip.

There is no direct strategy to win in gambling, some have played it very safe all the time with their odds and never won anything so that is not the obvious way to go. The only good bet is a won bet and as long as one is not losing significant amount of money chasing a profit and having fun along the way, they are playing it right.

10  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is gambling a weird way of weath redistribution? on: June 18, 2024, 11:11:19 AM
...cutting the part where the casino gets the money it's that basically gamblers pay the wages of the whole staff manning those, and they also shuffle money between them.
That is the same with all businesses, you pay the salaries of the grocery staffs when you purchase a product, you pay the salaries of the airport workers when you book a flight, money you pay to services are used to keep the service running and leave a good enough profit margin for the business.

Gambling is not wealth redistribution, but involves transfer of money as does everything else we pay for.

You cannot judge someones betting strategy from a single slip. This are very risky odds and he is not unlucky that they all were wrong, he would have been extremely lucky to win that, extremely lucky.

If he plays like this most of the time hoping that one will give him decent reward, that is bad strategy. But if it is a mix up or risky and expected results then it is not so bad, especially if they are not losing money.

I also have a question.
For the last question about Belgium - "Belgium to win in any other way", does it mean if Belgium is leading at half time that does not count or it just factors in the handicap in option 1? I am assuming it only factors in the handicap but will like some clarity on what winning any other way is.

I can’t see France dropping points against Austria. They are my pick to win the tournament, they have world class players all over the pitch.
Almost 40 minutes in and it is not looking comfortable at all for France. The underdogs are all playing with a certain confidence and shape, not sitting back and absorbing pressure but going all out man for man. There is still a lot of time for France and a lot of time on the pool.

They just got the lead while I was typing, lovely work from Mbappe.

The UEFA bracket and superbru one. I was hoping everyone could join the EURO predictor in time but some people couldn't.
The EURO predictor has been fun, it is a shame we could not use that. Maybe I will stick around and play just for fun on it and the prizes available there.

Today has been a bad day for predictions, will France also give us an upset?

I predicted Italy and Belgium to score 3-4 goals, after the 2 scored by Italy my major fear was Belgium scoring 3+, never did I think they may not score any at all.

Slovakia played with all the heart in the world and skill too, they deserved the victory, I was rooting for them as it got closer to the end regardless of my pool choice and bet tickets. This tops the shock of Romania earlier, Group E is where it is all happening.

No one got this one I think.

Dont be foolish please.  Roll Eyes
That is an unnecessary response, I would have expected more for some reason, not sure what the reason is cause literally anyone could be behind a keyboard, but I am dissappointed either ways.

Pools are not secret or hidden, you can find them all in list of the pools and OP can remove any players he want to remove.
You are being ignorant. There is an option to toggle off a pool being visible in the public pool search, meaning they CAN be private.
And I literally said you will not want to give the pool captain the task of removing players who join without buying in, that could be why hilarious sent the link privately.

And it would be very stupid for anyone to join pool when he cant win anything without payment of entry fee and approval.
With how you have acted, I will not put anything beyond anyone.
Well, Ukraine is getting annihilated out there. I predicted Romania to win by 1 - 0 and changed it up just before the match started, would have been a valuable 1 point. Another reminder to always follow my guts.

There are 20 people joined in Superbru pool: ...
I do not think we should post the pool link publicly since it is a private pool. Anyone can copy it off from here and join giving hilarious the task of weeding out those players.

Now England - Serbia is next. England is heavy favorites, fans already singing It's coming home'' in stadium, would be really happy to see some upset here Cheesy.
With how they played yesterday, the singing should be less loud against Denmark. The England fans too easily get ahead of themselves for major tournaments like this one.

Which format are we using in the end? Superbru or UEFA?
Same here. I ironically did not fill out same results on both so I now have a favorite for which I will like us to use, but it is still too early to matter much, anyone will be great.

It is worth noting that we have 19 players on the UEFA match predictor and 20 on the Superbru, some names are different, so I cannot tell who is the exact player not on both.

...Some are here just for free ride while it lasts.
Except the free ride takes them close enough to possibly winning the competition. Anyone who gets kicked out in the first few rounds may not want to buy back in, they will think if they do, how many more times will they need to do that? But later in the tournament with an eye on winning... Many will take it.

20  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Seed phrase and probability on: June 16, 2024, 05:18:14 PM
...but if you're talking about the probability of finding a wallet with balance or someone else wallet is 1% out of 100 percent which is more like impossible.
It is much less than that. 1% out of a hundred means on one hundred tries you are likely to get an active wallet on one occasion. The odds are far lesser than that even with the most sophisticated tools which most hackers do not have.

given the number of active wallets at 12 words, it may be possible to come across an active wallet? I have a friend who came across several active wallets? so to say that it will be the end of the universe, not too much
You should go and read up more about generation of private keys. Your friend did not come across several active wallets and it is impossible to generate an active wallet.
