1  Economy / Economics / Re: Best time to get rich now soon bull run will start best time to dca on: Today at 07:22:22 AM
I like the OP's optimism about the coming bull run to the extent that he has mentioned the specific day that it'll start. I also look forward to seeing it start as soon as possible but the reality is that nobody knows the specific time that bull run will start or exactly what the price of Bitcoin will be in 33 days. We can only speculate price and it can happen or it might not, so I think that mentioning a specific date when bull run will start is misleading and only newbies without experience will fall for that. The best advice for any investor in this dip is to buy if they have the fund, hodl and wait for bull run, demand and supply will determine when it'll happen.
2  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are you already happy if you can double your money, or do you want more? on: Today at 06:45:59 AM
The percentage of my wins before I exhaust my gambling budget for the day doesn't really matter to me, when the bankroll finishes I collect whatever percentage. If it's a lose after the bankroll exhausts then I still move on because I gamble with the amount that I can afford to loose. Every gambler naturally wants more and there's nothing wrong with aiming for 1000% profit on your capital but to suppress greed 100% increase on my capital is very reasonable. Aiming for 1000% profit in gambling by all means is not a good habit.
3  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How should I transfer my husband’s cryptocurrencies? on: August 03, 2024, 04:21:47 PM
Ever since my husband became obsessed with cryptocurrencies, he has gone crazy. Our communication became less and less and I couldn't let him continue. I found this image on his computer, I know it's a key but I don't know how to use it, can anyone help?
He always trades on OKX exchange,This is his key      person frame entry uniform actual retreat damp viable lottery ill fatal choose
please help me destroy it
What you are asking is for us to help you in committing a crime, or this is old scam where you are giving private keys to a wallet with tokens, but without the L1 currency, and when someone moves gas to it, you have a bot ready to empty it.

What ever the reason is, no one should help you. Even if your story is true, you don't own your "husband's" crypto and it would be illegal to help you. But most likely you are speaking gibberish in order to sound like you don't know what you are talking about and waiting for dms from your potential victims.

I wonder the kind of spouse who will register in an anonymous forum to ask for help on how to reck the husband, it doesn't speak good of the person. If the OP story is true then she needs to confront the husband and talk things over with him, if it doesn't work then she can seek a third party involvement. Preferably a marriage councilor, not conniving with people to commit a crime against her husband.

I might be wrong but my gut is telling me that the OP is a scammer, probably hoping for someone to pm him/her and a greedy member will become the victim. Sharing seed phrase in a public platform is a red flag for scams as far as I'm concerned, let's beware.
4  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Do I stand a chance here? on: August 03, 2024, 02:26:23 PM
;

those members in hero and legendary level were they newbies before? How are they so knowledgeable about Bitcoin and everything that revolves around it? With my little knowledge about Bitcoin, do I stand a chance here? Because everyone seems to know so much about Bitcoin and I'm still a learner. I want to be knowledgeable about Bitcoin and I'm open to every instructions and advice from you guys.

Thank you y'all.
Anayochukwu
It's easy for a newbie to be intimidated by hero and legendary ranks in the forum and you'll be wondering if you'll be able to reach that level. But the realization that they were newbies once will make you to know that the ranks are achievable and you can get the merit to achieve it. Your activeness in the forum, willingness to learn and ask questions in areas where you need help, making research and expressing yourself with quality posts will go a long way to determine whether you stand a chance. Some newbies joined the forum with crypto knowledge while some like me joined without any knowledge and today I've gained a lot so far. The journey of a thousand miles begins with a step and this forum is a good foundation to gain cryptocurrency knowledge in general.
5  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does User Complaints of a casino in the Reputation board influence you on: August 03, 2024, 11:04:54 AM
If the casino is an old and already reupdated casino then it does not bother much because it's understandable that one or two case can go wrong but if the casino is fairly new and still working on building up a reputation then I may look into the details of the complain. In some cases I may ask any question that I will think is necessary to investigate the legitimacy of the complain. I will not just make my decision by looking at the complain.
If it is an older casino that have built reputation in the forum, then I wouldn't be too bothered because fault can come from the accuser. It also depends on the number of accusations, if it's a few it wouldn't bother me but when there's much accusations that is hammering on the same matter, then it's better to be cautious, no matter the reputation of the casino. Although emphases on accusstions should be more on newer casinos rather than the trusted ones. It's also important to analyze accusations before deciding whether it has merits or not.
6  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Few observations about luck-based games in comparison to skill-based games (2). on: August 03, 2024, 09:20:44 AM
There is a chance that the nature of the game has something to do with the gender that plays in that game most. There is no official study for this yet, but I am thinking that we will find more females playing and drawn to luck-based games than skill-based games because of how difficult the process of learning skill-based games may be.

Another observation about luck-based games that a new gambler with an interest in them has to know is that they have the potential to make you, as a gambler, spend more money gambling than skill-based games.

What do you think?

So are you calling women stupid? lol.  Kinda feels like what you're saying here.  I would say in general that women tend to gamble less than men do.  I don't think it's a huge gap between the two sexes but in general it sure seems this way.  I think if anything it's that women tend to be a bit more conservative with their money than men are, so they often see gambling as a bit reckless.  I think they also might just simply not gamble as much as if that's the case, since they don't take time to learn skill based games you would probably find them playing luck based games when they do.
I wouldn't call women stupid either, like you said they are more concervative with their money than men. So most of them don't bother about learning a skill to gamble, like analyzing matches, they'll rather play luck based games that doesn't require any special skills. Although I've seen women that are very passionate about sports bets but you can't compare their numbers with men.

I believe that more gamblers are into casino games, especially women, because it's not everybody that's into sports, infact you don't need to have any particular game interest to gamble in a casino. So with this I think that luck based games will have an edge over skill based games.
7  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Newbies should invest in bitcoin first before thinking of trading. on: August 02, 2024, 02:54:55 PM

Why do they direct newbies to the wrong path when they know it is a very risky way of increasing your bitcoin portfolio. Newbies should not jump into trading in the beginning because it will slow your chance of investing into bitcoin and increasing your bitcoin stash overtime. If you want to get into bitcoin as a newbie, you should only have investing for a long term in your mind and plan for how you can achieve your bitcoin target overtime by using DCA method to buy bitcoin weekly or monthly consistently and persistently without overdoing it. Bitcoin is not a get rich quick scheme which those influencers are making you think it is through trading. Trading eats up your capital but investing saves your capital from inflation and gives you profit overtime.

Do we have anybody that has made success through trading, come and clear my doubt. I know that we have long term investors that are still hodling with huge profit.

Let's discuss.
I tell newbies who wants to rush into crypto trading because they think that it's a get rich quick scheme that trading is hard. It's not something that you can rush into because you've heard that people are sitting in the comfort of their homes and making a lot of money, it's risky and you can easily lose all your funds if you don't understand how trading works. I advice newbies to start from the basics in cryptocurrency business, that is investing in Bitcoin, it's the safest and most reputable cryptocurrency, you don't need much technical knowledge to hodl it.

Trading requires fundamental and technical analysis to understand, someone needs to become a professional in crypto trading to make profits and minimize loses. Newbies needs to start with demo trading, be mentored and gain knowledge before trading with funds.

You for share di source link of where di vice president specifically talk about di training of Nigerians on cryptocurrency Blockchain technology. I just search Crypto Pulse Nigeria, for Google, and I no see any related news.

Dis na welcome development from our government wey no give cryptocurrency any support, if dem fit to live up to di promise of training Nigerians, especially our youths dem for crypto and blochchain technology, dat one go be a very big booster for di adoption inside di country. 9  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Dull moment in gambling on: August 02, 2024, 09:08:52 AM
Dull moments are normal feelings, especially when you've explored everything that there is in a particular activity. The reason for your long break from gambling must've contributed or been the main reason for the dull moment that you're experiencing now, just give it more time, hopefully the interest will come back naturally. If you're more into casino games, maybe you can switch to sports bets or the other way round, if it doesn't work then take your time and come around anytime, thankfully gambling is not food that we can't do without. I get bored too, mostly when winnings are not happening over a period of time, it goes to show that we're not addicts.
10  Economy / Economics / Re: Norway is good example how to manage wealth on: August 02, 2024, 08:11:01 AM
It's not exactly correct to make such a comparison like this though. Small countries with a small population usually have it a lot easier, specially if they had natural resources over the past 3 years and could sell it at much higher prices and make a ton of profit.

Just look at teeny tiny countries around the southern shores of The Persian Gulf and you realize what I'm talking about.
I've also reasoned what you said, it's easier for small countries with resources to manage their wealth better than bigger countries. I believe that it's easier for their leaders to be more accountable because of the relatively small population than bigger and more populated countries where leaders don't relate and empathize with the grassroot citizens.

My country has a population of over 200 million people and we have natural resources like crude oil which is our major export but because of corruption and the gap between the rich (mostly politicians) and the poor, there's no transparent accountability. I believe that if we were a smaller country like Norway, with a fewer population, our leaders will be compelled to be more transparent and the citizens will benefit more from the national treasury.
11  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Weird sports we didn’t know existed, available for betting on: August 02, 2024, 07:13:51 AM
I learned recently that there is usually a game between rams organized by the owners of the ram. These rams are not trained for the sports so I don't know how they get them to fight each other, It's not like they fight for real but what the rams do is lock horns. They stand at a distance facing each other then run at each other and hit each other with their horns then go back again and do it again. They do it till one ram dies, passes out or gives up.
Meanwhile, gambling is going on in that very instant. People are placing bets on which animal will win and are cheering and roaring with a lot of bant. I don't know how legal that is but it's not hidden, especially during festive holidays in some parts of the country.

I grew up seeing this type of gambling, especially during festive seasons, ram owners and people who bought rams for celebration will be carrying them to popular spots for entertainment and gambling. The owners of the rams and bystanders will bet on the rams that will win, the rams will continue to lock horns until one of them injures or gives up on defeat. Although the sport is less popular now than it was before, maybe there's a restriction on it now. I doubt that any casinos will put up a game like that because of animals rights protection.

13  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling should be played without greedy for the success on: August 01, 2024, 11:23:34 AM
You can never be too sure in a game. Even if you make a mistake today in a particular game, especially in sports betting, trying to figure out that mistake and take advantage of it in your next bet won't guarantee your chance of winning. You can win sometimes, but it won't happen all the time.
The biggest mistake gamblers are making is that they are gambling with the money that they can not afford to lose. Every week, if they are gambling with just 1% of the amount of money that they earn weekly, they will not even care of loss. This will also help their mindset. But most gamblers are not like this and they are losing despite of their wish to win. To stop greed in gambling, gamble with the amount of money that you can afford to lose.
When a gambler has a budget for gambling and the amount is what he can afford to loose, it will take care of greed in gambling. Whether the gambler is winning or losing, when the amount that is allocated for gambling is exhausted, he should call it quit for the day. If the gambler is winning and continues to gamble with the win, it's greediness and there's high chances of losing everything. Likewise if a gambler exhausts his budget and continues to gamble more inorder to recover loses, he can lose even more.

I don't think that there's a perfect analysis in gambling or learning from mistakes of previous loses, that is why it's called gambling. If there's a guarantee of learning from mistakes, gambling companies will not make profits.
14  Economy / Speculation / Re: What to do when there is a continues DIP on: August 01, 2024, 08:32:59 AM
If you have fiat set aside for buying dips then you can of course take advantage of continuous dips and buy.

Never panic and sell in a downturn though, always stay strong and HODL until you are planning to sell. Don’t act on impulse caused by short term fear.
Of course, investors should set their plans to buy more bitcoins while in DIP. Every DIP is an opportunity for investors to take more profits if they can make full use of it. It also recommends taking care of holding during bullish periods, which is long-term holding regardless of price.
This is why it's important for people who hodl Bitcoin to have the knowledge of how it works so that they will not panic when they begin to notice continuous price dip. The best thing to do when there is continuous dip is either to keep buying if you have the fund or just hodl what you have and wait for price pump. Bitcoin is not altcoins that when their prices dumps you'll panic because you're not sure whether they can recover and pump, after dips BTC will always recover and pump. In cryptocurrency it is only Bitcoin that you can trust that it has the capacity to have price correction and skyrocket.
15  Economy / Gambling / Re: Rollbit.com | Crypto's Most Rewarding Casino 👑 on: August 01, 2024, 06:54:06 AM

It's nice advertisement of Rollbit on the T-shirt of Southampton but who is the player?

I am not familiar with players of Southampton.

That's Taylor Harwood, I've forgotten his full name though but he plays center back for the Southampton. I've seen him as a good player for some time now. Guess he caught the camera some few times in the past years. Well I'm happy to see the initiative made by the rollbit marketing team. It's a very nice one. I've seen so many other casinos here on the forum who also have sponsored premier leagues. Like the sport bets.io and so many others. It's actually a good way to promote their platform. Definitely it will drive more players to their casino once the league kicks off in August. Nice one @ Rollbit team.
It's not easy to know the names of every player in a league, especially if they're not in the ranks of Messi and Ronaldo, but what you can't miss while watching is their jersey. Fans will always capture what is written on the jersey so I applaud Rollbit, for taking the initiative to advertise on a jersey in a top class league, it'll surely attract more people to explore their gambling platform. We can never underestimate the powers of advertisements because out of sight is out of mind, I hope that Rollbit, will achieve it's aim of becoming more popular and profitable.

17  Economy / Gambling / Re: bookmaker refusing to do KYC in advance - fortune jack btw- on: July 31, 2024, 11:40:49 AM
Sounds like you're in complicated situation, it's true that most casino don't ask KYC in advance only after you request withdrawals for a certain amount. While your concern is somewhat reasonable but you can't force a casino to change its policy regarding KYC. So either you follow them (asking KYC) or change casino at the very least.
Precisely, if a casino doesn't allow for KYC in advance doesn't mean that it's a bad reputation for them or that they can scam you in the future. If it's how they want to run their casino, then gamblers who are ready to comply will do so and only be asked for KYC before stipulated withdrawals and above by the casino. Although I think that casinos that doesn't do KYC in advance should allow their customers that makes the requests to do so, it doesn't stop them from demanding for any other requirements before withdrawals. There are many reputable casinos that accepts KYC in advance so the OP can easily make another choice.
18  Other / Politics & Society / Re: What's the justification for this? on: July 31, 2024, 09:20:59 AM
This is the sad reality in my country and people have been calling for a ban on this wicked law where people with gunshot wounds are denied treatments in the hospitals. I've heard about many cases where people with gunshot wounds are left to die without getting treatment because they can not provide a police report that they're not thieves. You'll wonder how an innocent person that is shot will first go to a police station to obtain a report before going to the hospital for treatment, many people sees this law as very senseless. Although I've heard that our legislatures are looking into changing it but I don't how far they've gone about it.

About leaving accident victims to die if they don't have money to make deposits first in the hospitals, this depends on the hospital. I know that some will give first aid and wait for deposits to be made to them before proceeding to give any major treatments. I believe this practice is mainly in private hospitals, I believe that government hospitals will admit the accident victims and give treatment before asking for money.
19  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: This is a double loss thing. on: July 31, 2024, 07:37:36 AM
Actually I don't know if this should be discussed here but I think it will make up a good discussion.
Although it's just for those that have joined a signal groups/channels for predictions, but still ended  up losing. Am just curious to know how they feel when they paid for a prediction and finally lose the games even after paying their money thinking that the predictions are sure. IMO, this is a double loss thing.
Anybody that is paying for predictions should understand that there's no guarantee of winnings, that it's an extension of gambling. I'm not into prediction sites whether free or paid, I guess it's because there are many sports enthusiasts in my neighborhood that analyzes matches and gives their predictions in bet shops. Gamblers should not entirely rely on predictions, whether it's free or they're paying for it, they should just take them on advisory basis and decide whether to go with the predictions.
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can blockchain be used for fiat money transfers or mobile payments? on: July 30, 2024, 02:30:58 PM
I've used Bitcoin to buy food, load and also to pay for my bill before.
There are also shops that accepts crypto now, so mobile payment through blockchain or crypto has been possible for couple of years already.
Blockchain is already been used for fiat money transfers and payments, all you need to do is to make payments with a digital cash like Bitcoin, it works like fiat when using it to pay for things. Traditional banks don't necessarily need to adopt the blochchain technology for people to experience it's advantages. Alternatively you can convert Bitcoin to stablecoins or your preferred fiat currency through p2p transactions and make payments with it. Aside from the financial sector, other sectors like agriculture are also benefiting from the Blockchain technology.
