Greed. The desire for the same money to do more work. No less no more.

Yes, in ideal world there shouldn't be cases like that. But real world isn't ideal and crypto-world far from been fair. After you have encountered such a problem for the first time, you should be ready for such situations.

I got rid of all the useless coins as much as possible and bought ETH, NEO, ONT etc.

I think almost all here believe that. The main questions when and how far

Why shouldn't they? There are a lot of use cases for them were they can use blockchain to solve a lot of issues. Nevertheless, most likely they just experimenting and there is no guarantee that the project will go out into the world.

The crypto-space offers a lot of opportunities for everyone although risk is always there so you must embrace yourself and prepare for whatever the outcome, just learn from your mistake and keep moving forward to achieve your target or goals on this space.
I would even say that there are a lot of opportunities to lose your funds and only one little chance that you will be lucky to earn for your retirement. Nevertheless, for me personally it is enough to continue

The current state of the crypto market is definitely not for newbies but for those who have a good understanding of how it works. You don't need an expert tutorial to know that good crypto traders are still making a huge profit from market speculations despite the downward trend in value that bitcoin and various altcoins have witnessed in recent days. CoinmarketCap data today, as shown below, reveals that out of 100 top coins 98 are on green. I think this is reassuring that it is not over yet with the crypto. How far do you think this Green will go?. source: coinmarketcap.com 2018-11-26-08_14_50 Yes, it may seem from the outside that it is very simple and profitable to trade, but I am sure that this is far from being so. At least I definitely don't have any talent for that.

I think it is just FUD. There is no reliable sources for such statement and it looks very unlikely.

Personally, i think Ethereum and Bitcoin will collapse.
Same for EOS.
What do you guys think?
Which altcoin do you think will be the next Bitcoin?
Most likely, everything will be exactly the opposite - only popular and already developed projects will survive.
|
|
|
Relax guys, it's just speculations. It doesn't look like star of next bullrun and I don't think we will go below $100 again. Most likely we stuck in the diapason $100-$150 for long period of time.

I don't agree that Ethereum is a king. Because Ethereum is a queen! If seriously, it is really just an altcoin. But this is one of the altcoins that has the greatest chance of surviving in a bad market and growing in value significantly when the market comes to life.

First of all let's separate SCAMs and unsuccessful ICOs. I agree with the majority of the comments in this thread that you first need to check white paper and team members. 1. In 99% of SCAM projects don't have real/valuable idea or business use case, which really need a blockchain to solve something. 2. As a rule, there are no people in the team with serious experience in the relevant field. That is, you need to check the command profile in the social networks like Linkedin, Facebook, etc. And pay attention when profiles were created.

Most likely bull run will come unexpectedly and not in 2019.

Coins from the top 10/20/ect. have exactly the same chances of falling in price or growth. Yes, they will have less amplitude and, accordingly, less potential for income, but they also have at least two main advantages: 1. More liquidity 2. More chance to survive on the red market

I had something similar, i had coins which dropped massively and i traded most of them back into bitcoin and litecoin. I believe bitcoin (and litecoin) will be around in the future and will show big Gains from those puny trades from shitcoins.
Agree. I also sell all shitcoins when have such opportunity, but in my case I buy ETH and NEO. But the principle the same.

No one knows for sure. but I personally think it is a good time to buy and part by part I am accumulating the coins that I like.
|
|
|
I'm trusting in NEO, ADA, ONT, ETH. They are fundamental and big projects, but still with great possibilities if market will be alive at all

It is unfortunate to admit it, but investing in a crypto now really resembles gambling.

I heard it the first time from you, is that really legit does anyone knows ?
Yes, the Ethereum Constantinople Hard Fork which takes place at block 7.080.000 (as far as I know). For the users there shouldn't be anything to take care of but I'm sure more information will be released as we approach block 7.080.000. By the way: It's not a hard-fork that will result in a new coin like Bitcoin and Bitcoin Cash or Ethereum Classic and Ethereum. Changes:https://github.com/ethereum/pm/wiki/Constantinople-Progress-TrackerYeap, I have the same information. So, this time we won't see a new coin in our wallets (.

I think we will always have thousands of coins, but only 2 or 5 will be in real use.
