I agree with the idea in general. Nevertheless, there have been already mentioned sensible additions and I would like to emphasize them:
1. You should buy not when everything falls, but when everything starts to rise after a fall. It is hard to define this moment precisely, so there is a chance that the fall is not over yet.
2. Regardless of the low price of a coin, it’s not worth buying just because the price has fallen more than in others. When assessing the attractiveness of a coin/project, it is necessary to carry out a complete analysis, understand what the project is and what its prospects are.
3. You need to invest wisely. It is not a good idea to spend all your money at once and on one coin. Funds must be divided into at least three groups: for buying less risky coins, for buying new and promising coins, the reserve in fiat or stable coins.

Everything is possible of course, but it seems very unlikely. Especially if we are talking about a short-term perspective. But I agree that ADA is an interesting coin and definitely has great potential. I have it in my bag along with ETH, ONT, NEO, NPXS, and DACC.

I think that bumpy market is the best place for trading. Look at BCHSV, it made x3 in a week. Almost all coins today gain +10%-30%. So, you can try yourself in trading. It isn't easy, but who knows, maybe you have talent for it!

Don't tell people anything. In most cases it is waste of time to convince someone in something. It is their right to have doubts and don't believe in new technology. Time is needed in order to get used to new things.

Absolutely agree. It can be our second chance to prepare for upcoming uptrend. If there are coins you fancy, buy them step by step. Accumulate coins with potential whenever you can and hold.
But it also can be a trap . So, do not spend more than you willing to lose!

As I see it, right now isn't the best time for ICO, especially if you want to make fast money. It is better to consider buying some of the undervalued coins on the market. You can also try to trade, it isn't an easy task, but on the bumpy market it is very profitable.

There are two main things that motivate me. First of all, I believe that blockchain in general and crypto have a great future. And we are all on the front line!
Secondly, if you wisely invest your funds in promising coins / projects and you aren't greedy, than you can get a good extra income. Which is very nice addition to the firs reason

If so many people believe in a bull run in December, I am afraid there won't be any. I want to be wrong, but it seems that we are not going to see real growth in the nearest future.
Nevertheless, the market has repeatedly proved to be unpredictable and it can skyrocket at any moment regardless of our opinion.

There is no point to be grumpy about the market. We have what we have and we need to get used to it. There was a huge increase in 2017, respectively, now we are falling. Everything is balanced. But I am sure that we will see green bars again and a lot of lambo/moon people

I am also "hungry" and want to buy more and more coins when they are so cheap. But I am definitely against any ideas with loans for risky investments. And crypto is an investment with very high risk.
Be more restrained and do not spend more than you can afford to lose!

It is really hard question. And all who find the right answer become a whales . And I am afraid that whales don't have time to read threads on this forum. So, it is unlikely that you find the right answer here.
Nevertheless, we are obviously in the long trend for falling and it means, that there are a good chance for soon market recovery. So, I think that now is a good time to buy more coins.

We all hope that is the case. And I actually believe that the market recovery is just a matter of time. And it is gonna be rather sooner than later.
But I agree with many previous comments that we have to be cautious and smart investors. The time is good for accumulating more coins, but they should be picked with great care and with deep understanding of project behind it.

I agree with the author. Blockchain as technology has already taken place. There are a lot of cases where it can help. So, it won't die despite of the current problem on the market.
It is only one of many episodes of blockchain/crypto life and there will be more of them in the nearest future. Huge amount of work has been done in the past years. Many problems have been found and different teams are already working on their solution.
I think everything is just beginning.

I doubt that. Most likely, it will fall to 3k by the end of this year. But I have no doubt that in general the market will still grow.

It depends on your personal strategy. In theory, investing in the top-ranked coins will puts investments at lower risk. But as you may noticed there is no guarantee on the crypto-market .
I think the best strategy is to split funds into 4 groups:
1. For buying top-10 coins
2. For buying new and promising coins
3. For participating in ICOs (it is not relevant now)
4. Some reserve in stablecoin or fiat
Depending on your preferences and market situation, the proportions between these groups should be determined. Or you can use some similar approach.

I have already mentally accepted that there will be no rapid growth as it wass in 2017. And I changed my investing strategy accordingly - I am buying coins every month, little by little. And a portfolio includes both relatively stable coins (from the top 10) and new but promising ones.
I am determined to wait a long time, and 1-2-3 years do not frighten me at all.

It is always a bad idea to invest in something you don't understand. You can learn more about both markets and decide what better for you. As many others had already told you, on bitcointalk the majority decided to invest in crypto and recommendations will be relevant according to that.

I am agree in general and now is a good time to buy more coins. But I am not sure about some of the coins in the list, particularly dogecoin. To be honest, I do not even understand at the expense of what it keeps the price...
From relatively new coins, I personally buy DACC and NPXS

I personally think that we all were given the second chance. Almost all coins from top 50 can give you nice profit during next rise (and I believe there will be a rise even bigger than in 2017). And if you find some underestimated coins-gemstones, it will be even better!

Why not. It is quite possible. But it isn't relevant for me personally. Ripple already has pretty big capitalization and it is more profitable to take your chances with some new coins.
