1  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why do traders lose money in trading? on: Today at 03:01:32 PM
It's a skill issue, like others have said, it's about minimizing risk/managing it.

I think poker is very similar to trading, you have rake "fees" the odds are already against everyone, there's going to be winners and losers.
The ones with more knowledge are still going to lose no matter what, but it's a numbers game, you don't put everything you have on a single bet.
And over time, making marginally better decisions than others will be profitable.

And just like poker, with trading you need a winning strategy.

Well, in the end it all depends on what abilities we have. If the person has often traded, then it is a matter of ability. Meanwhile, if he is new, then it is a matter of ability and knowledge. Many new traders experience losses, so I think it is normal. However, if he has been around for a long time, then he needs to develop a better strategy to avoid losses occurring.
In fact, even long-time traders or professional traders can still experience losses, because trading is not always profitable and we have to be prepared for the losses we will experience. If profits were all we could get, I think we would all be very rich here.
However, the difference is that when traders are old or professional traders, they will remain calm when they feel a loss, because they already have experience. This is different from new traders, where they might become very panicked if they experience a loss and they need time to recover their mentality to return to trading.
However, the most important thing is that both professionals and beginners must continue to learn to develop their knowledge and make the strategies they have even better.
2  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: Today at 02:39:42 PM
Honestly, Vfb Stuttgart and Bayern Leverkusen really had a good show of professionalism in the Bundesliga last season that is why the both clubs were able to finish first and second in the league table which disorganized the traditional first and second that Borussia Dortmund and Bayern Munich have been enjoying in the league for most seasons. Stuttgart was a team that performed very well but they didn't start it earlier enough if not their points would have been very close with that of Bayern Leverkusen but however, I would say they made their fans so proud by qualifying for the Champions League alongside the league winners Bayern Leverkusen.
Nobody predicted beforehand that we would see a different position at the top of the Bundesliga standings. Leverkusen became champions and Stuttgart could finish as runners up, which is something that is very difficult, because almost every season that position is dominated by Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund.
In my opinion, this is a significant change, because these two teams can immediately provide something that really surprises everyone, especially with Leverkusen's achievement of ending the season without losing, which is something that rarely happens in a very long league.
I hope this continues, I mean the competition in the Bundesliga will be even more interesting and challenging and we won't just see one or two teams dominating the league.
3  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Europa League 2023/24 Season on: Today at 02:24:14 PM
Well am of a different opinion on zidane issue, I don't know but I think my theory is that he is actually looking for a team as good and complete as his previous team managed and for now he is still afraid to pick a coaching job because if he is truly eager to feel the thrills of managing and enjoy the excitement that comes with football then he would have certainly been coaching and the worse part is that a whole lot of club have offered him jobs with good pay too but turned all down.
I don't know when Zidane will start his adventure again as a coach, because he took a long break and he always doesn't respond when there are rumors involving his name. I think it's a shame that he took so long to rest, because if he comes back maybe something will change and hopefully he will follow those changes.
Zidane is one of the successful coaches and if I'm not mistaken, he is the only one who managed to win the Champions League 3 times in a row. This is an achievement and it is very natural that now he always gets a lot of interest from big teams to be part of them. However, the problem is that until now he has not said anything about his coaching future.

Manchester United have no plans of letting Ten Hag go,and that's why they let him stay for another year despite not taking the team to champions league last season.Manchester united need a better coach like Zidane for them to be considered premier league Tittle contenders. For now, they are behind Arsenal, Liverpool,Aston Villa, and Totthenham. However, they've given him another chance to correct his mistakes, and try to win something or qualify for champions league next season, else,he might be sacked.
Ten Hag will have a tougher task next season because he has to be able to place the Manchester United team in the top four zone in order to qualify for the Champions League again, even though his position is not good enough when compared to first place and runners-up. But with the squad as it is now, of course Ten Hag's performance deserves to be appreciated if he is able to bring Manchester United into the top four at the end of next season. Because last season Manchester United really suffered in reaching a better position.
In fact, in my opinion, he carried out this difficult task shortly after Manchester United appointed him as coach. In his first season he was considered successful because he was able to take Manchester United to the Champions League, but in his second season he was very disappointing with an unexpected performance, even though he managed to win the FA Cup.
However, overall his performance is not satisfactory this season and he often defends himself, in my opinion this is an unwise thing for a coach to do because they are looking for a scapegoat for their failures.
This season is the season where he has to prove himself, and when he plays badly again I think Manchester United should start considering sacking him.

5  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: June 28, 2024, 06:49:42 AM
Look, Ancelotti is a winner. He's calm, cool, and collected, and thats what you need when you're managing a team like Real Madrid. You remember what happened at PSG? Circus it was! Messi, Neymar, Mbappe, all those big egos, and the managers couldnt handle it. It was a disaster.

Different is Ancelotti. A leader he is. He has experience with that. Greater number of Champions League victories than most managers' final appearances. Players acknowledge that. He is heard by them. And for that reason Real Madrid is doing well at the moment. They have the correct guy in charge, the expertise, and the talent.
Paris Saint Germain's problems do not only occur in one sector, but they have problems in almost everything, from management, coaches and even players. That's what makes them fail repeatedly. Maybe in Ligue 1 it didn't affect them, because at the same time other teams also had problems and couldn't take advantage of the situation faced by Paris Siant Germain. But when they are in the Champions League, they can't do anything because the fact is that other teams there are better than them.
They have to improve, and in my opinion it has to start with improving good management, because for a big team like them, when management can manage well then it will fix existing problems, from the coach to the players who are the main actors. in the field.

How is it possible that he can be in charge of Bellingham (who just won La Liga and the CL), Foden (who was PL player of the season), Rice, Saka who both had great seasons and that’s without mentioning his pathetic use of PL and CL winning Trent. Kane as a CF too, seriously I don’t think another manager in the tournament would be able to make the players I listed look so terrible.
Get him back to Middlesbrough asap  Grin
Maybe England should hire someone else, but I think it's to late for this EURO, Slovakia is waiting for them.
Look what Willy Sagnol did with Georgia national team, everyone is talking about them and they had amazing results so far in EURO.

I think here we can mostly agree that the coach is the main problem for England in this UERO, because the players they have are very good, but the coach cannot implement an effective strategy that can make them play even better. They were still lucky to qualify from the group stage.
We'll see what Southgate can do in this round against Slovakia, whether he can play better or not. You are right that it is too late now for England, the only thing is that they have to hope that Southgate can change their performance for the better.
With the existing players he shouldn't have any difficulties, but it seems like he doesn't know the character of his players well, so he failed to create the right mix for England.
7  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ? UEFA Euro 2024 in Germany ? - Qualifiers?Group Stage on: June 27, 2024, 03:45:05 PM
Switzerland came out of the preliminary round unbeaten, while Italy experienced one loss, one draw and one win. This match will be difficult for Italy because Switzerland played very well at the Euro this time, it is difficult to hope that Italy can survive at the Euro with the quality of play shown in the group stage. Italy must improve the quality of its game if it wants to overcome the challenge presented by Switzerland. The match in the round of 16 will be more exciting because each team really needs a win to qualify for the next round. Luciano Spalletti must develop Italy game and increase his sharpness up front to put pressure on Switzerland.
Looking at goal productivity, Switzerland is better than Italy, because they scored 3 goals and only conceded 2 goals, while Italy managed to score 3 goals and conceded 3 goals. Even though that is a very close difference, in a short tournament like this I think it is very influential, in contrast to the League which is held regularly throughout the year.
I agree with you that Italy must be able to attack better, but they also shouldn't forget about defense, because there they also think they still look lacking. Their opponents are dangerous Swiss, so once they make a mistake the Swiss will punish them.
I think this match will be interesting in this knockout round, they have opportunities that are not much different in my opinion.
8  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: June 27, 2024, 03:08:17 PM
City is the only team that has consistently dominated for several seasons in a row, during which time only their rivals alternate, at one time Liverpool tried, now Arsenal tried for two seasons, but none of them manage to break City’s dominance and I think that they can’t will succeed in the near future, because Guardiola’s team is very strong. And despite the fact that some important players like Gundogan leave, he manages to be the best. For some reason it seems to me that Arteta will not be able to beat Guardiola.
Manchester City succeeded in building a strong foundation, so that they were able to maintain their performance for years, at least they managed to defend the title for 4 consecutive seasons. In my opinion, the foundation they created is one of the keys that has enabled them to be consistent so far, because without that foundation they would probably decline quickly.
We see a lot of teams that only last for 1 season, that's because they don't have a solid foundation so they can decline in a short time. We must not forget the genius of the coach, because Pep Guardiola is indeed a coach who is good at concocting strategies that he can apply well in his game. Manchester City also cannot be separated from their success, because management gave Pep Guardiola a long time.
9  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it still possible to retire early? on: June 27, 2024, 02:52:21 PM
And sometimes I see people who have retired still involve themselves in the business or business they founded when they were young, even though they already have good successors who will continue the business they started when they were young. That means they still want to be involved, but their age no longer supports that.
And you are right, that it will be very difficult to find people you can trust to continue the business, even if it is your own children or family. I have seen several family businesses go bankrupt after being abandoned by their original owners.
At a young age, it would be better for us to be more creative and productive regarding business opportunities or something that can bring in money. Because it can be a form of investment in old age.
~~

Why can a business built by parents go bankrupt when it is run by their children and there may be several influencing factors.
For example, children do not have the skills to run a business and their parents never teach them how to develop a business and there are other factors that might influence them.
Of course, there are influencing factors that result in businesses that have been running for years, ultimately having to decline in income or even go bankrupt. One of them, as said by the child, is not skilled enough in developing a business. However, I think parents will always teach their children anything, but it is the children themselves who don't want to leave their comfort zone. For example, when they are used to living easily and luxuriously, they think they will always feel that way. They didn't think that their parents would pass it on and they weren't prepared for the legacy they left behind.
Here too, in my opinion, the role of children is very important, how they must realize that they have to continue. Even though they may be more skilled in other fields, they still have to learn to become more skilled.

Well, at a young age, it's better to keep working, even as an influencer or freelancer. This will make us more active, even during holidays. Many people decide to become vloggers traveling around while on holiday. I think it's fun, they vacation while creating content and making money. Apart from that, early retirement also has many considerations. In fact, you need someone you can trust to help you take care of the businesses you have built.
And sometimes I see people who have retired still involve themselves in the business or business they founded when they were young, even though they already have good successors who will continue the business they started when they were young. That means they still want to be involved, but their age no longer supports that.

The fans are not grateful with EPL title, and who told them that City can win it again. It was by luck that City used to win it last year for the first time in history. City is in their best form but they are not improving the form. They are stagnant and if Pep leaves that is when the fans will know that Pep is the best coach they had.

Next season will also be a difficult one for City in the Champions League, they should just hope not to meet  Real Madrid early like this past season, if not they will not go far, because Real Madrid squad is deadly currently with Mbappe.
Always wanting to achieve high achievements, that's what I see from a team's supporters, so that when they don't get what they want, they will be a little disappointed even though they get the domestic league title.
I think they also have to be well aware that in the Champions League everything becomes more difficult. They also just won their first title last season after trying for years. and even Paris Saint Germain, who regularly plays in the Champions League, also finds it very difficult to get, Atletico Madrid also feels the same way.
However, this is very natural because as I said before it will be more prestigious if they succeed in retaining the Champions League title. But it's not easy, only Real Madrid fans in my opinion know what it's like to be the "masters" of the Champions League.

Since become Napoli manager, Antonio Conte have asked to management for signing Romelu Lukaku but transfer still more completed and waiting will success sign him or not.

the reasons for the decline are many and varied:
first of all our friend Lukaku has his age, he is no longer a boy
second all these people who hate you and insult you, if you are a normal person, it must not do well with your performances
third, having to prove again that you are a good professional can be annoying

with Napoli he has the opportunity to show how much he is worth
The problem lies with Chelsea in my opinion, because his contract with Chelsea will end in 2026, so Chelsea will not release the player they brought in at a high price for a lower price, yes even though we know that his contribution to Chelsea is very minimal, and even now he still on loan to another team. Previously there was also news that AS Roma wanted to make Lukaku permanent in the squad, but due to these obstacles, AS Roma finally gave up their intention.
Now Napoli also have to spend very high money if they want to get Lukaku, unless they also want to make him a loan player. Another option is for Napoli to include the player's name in Lukaku's purchase clause or in other words, a player exchange. However, until now there is no information about this.

It is quite possible that Flick's strategy could influence Barcelona, so he is in no hurry to buy new players, but first wants to deal with what he has now.

It's possible, he has a legacy of players that I think is quite good. But I'm not sure Flick will keep it all, I think there will be a change in playing style. So Flick will need new players. But the current problem is Barcelona's financial condition. I had read that Flick could not be registered as a coach due to financial circumstances. Is it finished? If Flick wants a new transfer, it seems that Flick will have to be willing to sell some players who do not fit his playing strategy. Regarding Lewandowski, I believe he is a good striker if he has the right support and strategy from the coach.
Actually, if you look at the squad that Barcelona has, they still have a good squad, they still have big names in it and that might be a weapon for Flick to bring something new to Barcelona's game. Although compared to the current Real Madrid squad, they are still behind Real Madrid.
Flick has a tough job at the moment, because when he is in a team as big as Barcelona, he will be under pressure where he must always be able to perform well in every match. That is actually the main task for him so that he cannot be influenced by existing pressure which could have a negative impact on the squad he currently has. But he should also have a strong mentality for that.

Every person is different and every person should choose your own path to success. No one can get success to follow any person blindly. Either a person is student of University or he is a businessman or he is Employee,he should make a daily plan and should stick to his plan. Your plan will give you success in future because when small small steps will join ,then we will get a huge success in life. Every person who got success,he or she was a consistent. Without consistency , success is not possible. Always follow your teacher but don't follow blindly and do your own research.
It is true that everyone has a different path to success and it is very unlikely that other people can copy other people's paths to success and if you choose to follow other people as an entrepreneur or employee, of course what you will achieve will certainly be different from the results of other people's achievements and indeed It would be better to have our own plan that we can carry out to achieve what we want and as you said we must be able to carry out the plan that we have made consistently.
We can make what other people achieve become a motivation for us so that we can be successful in our own way. Because it's true, there is no guarantee that when we do what other people do and bring them success it will also happen to us. So we have to have our own path, but we can see effort and hard work from other people and make it a motivation.
There is no short path to achieving success, and even if there were, it might only happen in a moment that we don't realize and it might happen because of luck. Indeed, this also requires luck, but don't let us rely on luck being greater than our efforts and hard work.
I think luck will also find a way as long as we can make efforts and work hard and never give up.

I saw on X last night that Southgate is the highest paid manager in the tournament, earning £5,000,000 a year. He does not have the credentials to justify that, the guy has done nothing in management to deserve that kind of salary.
I dont know how much money other managers are earning, but with England having team with best players in a long time they should perform better and score more goals.
Two scored goals in two games is nothing and when they score a goal like they stop thinking about attacking and scoring more.
Maybe manager is responsible or there are other hidden problems in team.

Every time I see England's performance, it seems absurd that with such a luxurious squad they cannot perform well. However, this is something we usually see when England doesn't play with their luxurious squad. In fact, they never lack quality players, but they often appear disappointing.
Southgate, this man. I doubt his ability to formulate a strategy that he can implement. Even in the group stage match, I think he made a mistake when making a substitution. Instead, he replaced players who played well with players who didn't even perform well.
In my opinion, he couldn't read the situation that was happening on the field, because a coach must have the ability to be quick and precise in making decisions, and I think he did the wrong thing several times.
16  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: June 23, 2024, 04:01:23 PM
Alonso survival at Leverkusen certainly makes the hopes of a big team recruiting Alonso dashed at this time, but staying at Leverkusen will also provide a big challenge for Alonso to be able to maintain Leverkusen performance next season, apart from the Bundesliga, of course at this time many parties are starting to be curious about Leverkusen ability later in the Champions League, so that if Alonso fails to make Leverkusen better next season, of course everyone will thinking that Leverkusen achievements this season are only limited to luck for a novice coach.
True, this will actually be a double-edged sword for Xabi Alonso with his decision to stay at Leverkusen. The reason is that if he can maintain his performance consistently then he will achieve a big name as a coach, but if something bad happens, for example they don't play well, then it will tarnish his name a little, because people will think that what he achieved in this season is due to sheer luck.
I also saw that Xabi wanted to prove himself so he decided to stay with Leverkusen. I think one of his goals is that he wants to silence people who think that what he achieved was most likely due to luck alone. That is one of Xabi Alonso's ambitions in my opinion.

I hope he can propel the team as Xabi Alonso did in Bayern Leverkusen last season.
I guess that Vincent Kompany will be make the same as Xabi Alonso did in Leverkusen last season.
What Alonso and the players did at Leverkusen was unique and will be not coming so fast again.
For sure Kompany is and will be under pressure and its not easy at Munich.
I think that he will be not long there as a coach.
I don't think he has to do the same thing as what Xabi did, because they definitely have different ways to improve the team's performance. Moreover, their situation is also different, it could be said that with a squad that is not luxurious, Xabi can show a good performance with Leverkusen and if we compare it with the squad that Vincent Kompany has now, we will definitely see that the Bayern Munich squad is better than Leverkusen.
If you look at it on paper, Vincent Kompany's task should be easier with the existing squad, but again this cannot be seen from paper alone, but we have to look at the quality of strategy a coach has.

Indeed, knowledge and skills are the main keys for us to get the job we want, even if we have them, companies will probably fight over us like we are valuable assets. However, walking in that direction is not easy at all, it requires struggle and effort so that we can get things like that.
The problem that is happening now is that people are becoming lazy but they want a job that is worthy of them. In my opinion it's not worth it and looks like it depends on luck alone.
For example, in my environment, some young people don't want to work hard, but they want jobs that they think are cool. In my opinion, this is just a dream, because if we want something we should be able to work harder to get it.

I also think like that because nowadays many people need work but they choose to choose work that they consider light and in fact all work has its own risks but the most important thing is that we do any work seriously, with positive thinking and lots of learning new things and of course patience and that is the key to success that can be achieved in the future by always working hard.

Not only is it light, but they want to get a job that they think is light with a high salary, in my opinion this is something that is not comparable, because if they want a high salary or income then they have to be able to work hard and have skills. Unless they are born into a rich family that owns a company, with the privilege they have they can immediately become the owner of the company. If you want light work but with a high salary, we all want that too.
I think more than 50% are people who have jobs they don't want, but they try to enjoy them. I often share stories with friends, and most of them don't feel comfortable with their work, whether it's because of the work environment, boss, and so on. But they still enjoy it, because if we want to feel comfortable, I think there is little chance of getting it.

Going into the digital era is never a problem as long as you have certain knowledge and skills that will make you an asset in your company, provided that you are also working on your own convenience. For me, that is already an edge over traditional working system since the 9-5 working hours will never be an issue anymore. Having flexibility and the freedom to chose your own job with high expertise and skills, that will definitely makes a great job for you which you can always do whenever wherever.
Indeed, knowledge and skills are the main keys for us to get the job we want, even if we have them, companies will probably fight over us like we are valuable assets. However, walking in that direction is not easy at all, it requires struggle and effort so that we can get things like that.

Sometimes the current situation of any team comes down to that, to internal problems. I remember how Sevilla beat Roma in the Europa League final and how they were able to not perform at all, it was something similar to what Napoli did, only in different circumstances. Sometimes I say that those touches of luck often come to teams that don't deserve them. I'm sure that touch of incentive would have been very good for a team like Roma, at that time managed and directed by Mourinho, and that is something we see very clearly We just have to see if this team can perform well next season.

Internal problems often become a stumbling block for a team, and the impact of not playing because it has a direct effect on their performance on the field. There were a number of teams that ultimately had to go down because of the internal problems they faced and Sevilla felt this directly.
They are a team that can actually compete at the top, but once again the internal problems they face mean they can't do much with their game. In my opinion, if a team wants to perform well then they must have a good internal situation too. Because this problem is a problem that can become a bigger conflict for a team.
Sevilla is a successful team in the European League, but in the end it seems like they can't be expected, I hope they can quickly return to their best game.

You are wrong. Just buying many superstar players doesn't mean the management is good in PSG. They bought many famous players like Messi, Neymar, and Ramos for PSG and obviously, they spent a huge amount of money on these players while the other items couldn't do that but it doesn't mean they have good management.
PSG doesn't have a balanced team or at least they didn't have this situation before and that's mostly because of management in this team. Until they bought Enrique to get things together.
Agreed, they can bring in star players purely because of the money they have, because they also bring in those players when their time is almost up, so when they offer big money they will be willing to accept it. Another fact is that they were also unable to bring Paris Saint Germain to an impressive performance in the Champions League, there were often conflicts between them.
Paris Saint Germain's management only relies on money and that doesn't mean they have very good management. In my opinion, if we want to see good management then we can look at Real Madrid and Manchester City for example. I think they are a team that has had good management so far.
