1  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2024/25 Season on: Today at 02:29:27 PM
I also said that not only Man City some other teams like Liverpool Munich Milan PSG and Arsenal are giving a tough time to teams. But lets wait for the starting of UEFA Champions league 2024/25 season.
The next season champion league tournament will be a very tough one then this season due how so many clubs are prepare for the next coming season, apart from the Manchester city there so much teams that are are going to be tough as you mentioned them earlier expecially, a team like arsenal I'm expecting a good outcome from them. Because since there able to win the champion league this season; they want dominate the entire next coming season, and in my view arsenal can make that happen with how they improve their performance better, But nevertheless let us be wait and see what can actually happen in UEFA Champions league we can't make an early predict.

Well this is a common thing as I believe every season the teams do prepare for the next one ahead so I believe there  is no special thing about this. The moment the seasons end every team will try as hard and possible as they can to actually make their team stronger and that's what all the teams are doing now, well for Manchester city the market is not yet over so am still open to see a new addition to their squad.
All teams certainly want the best results, but this must also be balanced with their financial strength, where player prices are currently starting to become unreasonable. For big teams, of course they don't have any problems in that regard and they can easily strengthen the depth of their squad. But it also won't run well if you don't have good management.

However, it seems that small teams will still have difficulty competing in the Champions League and again they will be like a minority in big championships. If we talk about Manchester City with their current squad, they are actually still very strong, but sometimes that's not enough if you want to compete for the title again and at least Pep Guardiola knows what his team will need in the future.
2  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: Today at 02:15:46 PM
Well that's the problem, the Chelsea owner does not give the coach the opportunity to build a squad in the long term and they want to see instant results even though they must be able to take examples from the last 2 seasons and at the same time prove that money does not guarantee a team's success. If Chelsea want to build a young squad then they have to give the coach more time at least 3-5 years as happened with Arsenal and Liverpool, as we know Arsenal's performance continues to improve from season to season and I think this season is the time for Arsenal.

I'm Chelsea fan, and I've watched how my club have surpassed the struggling limits and now settled for lesser poor results. This is out of the picture and I've come to realized that time is perfectly the stable form ought to be give to these assigned coaches. But everything turn up against our expectations, we're seeing different outcome. Chelsea is elite team but everything worked smoothly during the era of Abramovic, he made good use of his players and signed appropriate talent players. Chelsea owner, Todd Boehly is impatience and have placed down the instructed maps.
Maybe the difference in profession between Abramovich and Todd Boehly is what makes Chelsea's handling different. Where Abramovich was famous as a politician before becoming the owner of Chelsea and it was proven that he had a more effective strategy on how to make a team like Chelsea successful and become as big as it is now. Meanwhile, Todd Boehly is a businessman and I think what he does is only focused on how this team works according to the market and doesn't know how to process the players who come in.

So what we see now has turned away from the Abramovich era and Chelsea now seems to have no direction in determining their success and in my opinion they are just following along with other big teams in bringing in new players without having their own research on how to run their squad in this competition.

The hunt for European players will still heat up in the Saudi league and this time Callum Wilson will be the next target. This Newcastle striker will be a target for two Saudi league teams, namely Al-Fateh and Al-Ahli. At Newcastle he played quite well and but there were concerns that Newcastle would be hit by FFP so they had to sell several players and one of them was Callum Wilson.

Newcastle knows very well what they have to do to avoid sanctions, so this is an opportunity for the two Saudi teams to compete for it. If we look at Al-Fateh there are no European players visible yet so that could be the right option for him. On the other hand, at Al-Ahli there is already Firminho but unfortunately the former Liverpool player is not very productive. In the competition for the Saudi league title, Al-Ahli is clearly one of the best and maybe Al-Ahli is better for him than Al-Fateh.

4  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: Today at 01:29:39 PM
So far I only see Bayern Munich who are seriously active in improving their squad for next season and therefore they have completed deals with several players. However, other teams such as Leverkusen, Dortmund, Leipzig have not yet seen their movements in the transfer market this time and only a few rumors have emerged.

Is it possible that some of these teams are still monitoring the talents who are currently competing at Euro 2024? because every time there is a competition, it always produces shining players who will be competed for by various teams. On the other hand, I know that the depth of their current squad is no problem at all and I think if this season there are no additional new players then they are confident with the squad available.

£50m for Eddie Nketiah? isn't that too expensive? Arsenal may not be able to think anymore in the transfer market this time. I know they need a new striker for next season and that's why they have set a price for Eddie Nketiah at that amount. That doesn't make sense and perhaps it's more likely that Eddie Nketiah is only valued at £10m.

This player only performed well for a few moments and after that he started to flop. So it would be too much for Arsenal to ask for that kind of fee for any team interested in him. On the other hand, I'm not sure there are other teams in the EPL or teams from other leagues that are interested in him except the Turkish league or the Saudi league that came to sign him.
6  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: Today at 01:01:34 PM
Antonio Conte also seems to really want Lukaku more than Osimhen. Maybe it's not because Lukaku is better than Osimhen. It's just that Osimhen doesn't seem comfortable at Napoli anymore.
Reason Osimhen was uncomfortable in Napoli only at that time when the president of Napoli often replaced the coach made Osimhen feel that adaptation to every new coach made him very bored.
But after the arrival of Conte coach, I am sure Osimhen will return comfortable because he also needs experienced coaches like in the Spalletti era who can develop his career with Napoli as the most scorer.
And for Lukaku, I will not agree if Osimhen position is replaced by Lukaku and the reason is quite simple if Lukaku is only a big body striker but in terms of expertise, I believe Osimhen more.

Source : https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/victor-osimhen/profil/spieler/401923

Osimhen got 15 scores from 25 matches while Lukaku only got 13 scores from 32 matches and from here the difference was quite clear.
At least the arrival of Antonio Conte can dampen Osimhen's desire to leave because it would be a shame if he left when Napoli really got a great coach. I'm sure it can change the thoughts that were quite disturbing in Osimhen's mind during last season and it's just a matter of how Antonio Conte can polish him again into a striker who will be hungry for goals again.

Last season's statistics weren't too bad, but they should be better next season with a more appropriate strategy. I have no doubt that Antonio Conte, considering his experience at various big clubs such as Juventus, Inter and Chelsea, will make teamwork more compact and solid. Anyway, if last season Osimhen could score 15 goals then I'm sure he would be even crazier with 20 more goals.
7  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2023/24 on: Today at 12:49:34 PM
There wasn't much Xavi could do last season, so he relied on defensive play and didn't create as many chances as arch rivals Real Madrid did. Barcelona does not have players who are hungry for goals even though they have Lewandowski because this player is old so it is natural that his stamina is not as strong as before. But I don't agree that Lewandowski doesn't get support from his club mates because in fact his teammates always help him but he often misses it, this proves that his abilities have indeed declined. Unlike in his first season with Barcelona his performance was still quite good at that time but since he experienced last season's injury he suffered a setback.
I think the Barcelona we now know is clearly different from what they did in their glory days a few years ago and maybe we still won't see that Barcelona figure again, not only next season but for the next 3 years. The reason is that Barcelona have gone too far if they want to be on par with Real Madrid and first they have to restore their finances if they want to be on par with their rivals.

Lewandowski is finished and I think Barcelona should not continue to rely on him because it will only waste opportunities in front of goal. I know he is a player with a lot of experience but look at Real Madrid last season where they didn't rely on pure strikers at all but they were still able to score lots of goals. So what needs to be emphasized here is the potential of the Barcelona players, where in fact they can do the same thing if given the freedom and Hansi Flick must know that.
8  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ UEFA Euro 2024 in Germany ⚽ - Qualifiers👉Group Stage on: Today at 12:34:46 PM

Group D was an unexpected group where Austria ended up winning the group after beating the Netherlands in the last match of the group stage. Even though in this group there are many superior teams such as France and the Netherlands, they have emerged as a dark horse team under the guidance of Ralf Ragnick. It seems that it was the right decision for Ralf Ragnick to stay in charge of Austria rather than accepting the offer as Bayern Munich's new coach some time ago.

On the other hand, France, which we usually know, can easily win matches, but this time they couldn't do much and it seems like they experienced a decline in performance and had to be runners up in the group. Apart from that, the Netherlands still has the opportunity to qualify for the knockout phase as the third best if nothing changes in all the final matches that other countries will play. For Poland they performed very badly and indeed if only Lewandowski carried this team for many years the results would still be the same.

Not satisfied enough after getting Michael Olise from Crystal Palace, now Bayern Munich is reportedly ready to pay Bernardo Silva's clause from Manchester City of £50 million. The 29 year old midfielder from Portugal has been a mainstay in Manchester City's midfield and it seems that if this transfer goes smoothly he will leave this summer.

It seems that this time Bayern Munich are really serious because they experienced a bad season previously and they are planning to make a more proper squad so they can compete to win the title again next season. Other news is that Jossua Kimmich is open to EPL clubs who want him and I think this will be the right circulation of funds to smooth this transfer process.

Since there was news of Mbappe's arrival at Real Madrid, so far at least 3 players have been confirmed to be leaving and they are Kroos, Joselu and Nacho. To be precise, Kroos retired, while Joselu and Nacho preferred to go to Middle Eastern clubs. It doesn't feel like time has passed quickly, but I am quite sad about Joselu's sudden departure even though he is only a loan player from Espanyol.

For Nacho, he is a true legend for Real Madrid where he dedicated his entire career to one club for 23 years. He came as an academy player at the age of 10 and has grown until now at the club he loves so much. Luckily, at the end of his career he was able to become the main captain and at the same time lift the La Liga and Champions League trophies.

Anyway, I heard another rumor that Andrey Lunin will reportedly not stay next season and he has chosen to leave Real Madrid considering that Courtois has recovered from injury.

Ronaldinho was right, this Brazil team sucks Roll Eyes

Kinda regret that I wasted my bets and sleep time on them lol.

Epic fail. For someone who didn't follow the game and saw the statistics, I wonder if the Brazilian team is playing with training mode ON or what? 19 shots with only three on target? 74% ball possession? 9 corners? Barely a serious opportunity and not a single goal Lips sealed
The bad performance and the rank they got previously is well deserved after all. They cannot advance with such infertile attack line.
Maybe I won't doubt the quality of the Brazilian players because currently these players are the best at their respective clubs. However, it is also strange to see that their performance is not commensurate with what they showed with Brazil. The gap is so wide that performance should be consistent, but what we see is instead a failure in the country.

With statistics like that, Brazil should be able to win easily, even with a margin of at least two goals, but this is still like wasting every possible opportunity. I don't know why the quality of Brazil's game has dropped so much and I doubt they can be compared to other great teams like Argentina or others.

Last night, I prefered to watch the Spain-Albania match, but my attention was constantly drawn to the Italy-Croatia match on my second screen. Particularly in the final minutes of the game, I was fully engrossed in the Croatia-Italy match, as those moments were filled with excitement. Although the first half ended goalless, Croatia took the lead in the second half with a goal from Luka Modric. However, Italy managed to equalize the score with Mattia Zaccagni’s goal in extra time, securing their spot in the last 16 rounds. Notably, Luka Modric’s goal made him the oldest player to score in the history of the tournament. Unfortunately for Croatia, this result meant they bid farewell to EURO 2024.
When Italy managed to equalize in the final minute, all the cameras immediately focused on Luka Modric's face where he looked disappointed, sad and couldn't believe what was happening. The reason is that after he was withdrawn in the 80th minute everyone believed nothing bad would happen but fate said otherwise and this is part of football.

Some stayed and some went home, but Croatia's fate was unlucky even though they needed this win to qualify as group runners up. On the other hand, Italy unexpectedly managed to take advantage of the slack in the defensive line after carrying out a counter attack and Zaccagni immediately scored with a beautiful kick. It was also seen at the end of the match that Luka Modric was chosen as MOTM but it was clear on his face that he was not at all happy with this result.

Even though it's not much, Barcelona can gain fresh funds this summer from the sale of its academy players. There are three players who will earn 30 million euros for the club and two of them are still in the negotiation stage at this time. Chadi Riad has joined Real Betis for a fee of 9 million euros.

Meanwhile, Mikail Faye and Marc Giui are currently in the negotiation stage with the relevant teams and it seems that Barcelona does not want to delay their departure because the team currently needs funds for financial refreshment. Here it is clear that Barcelona is very open to various offers for their academy players, but unfortunately they do not dare to open deals to main players who can make more money as has been widely rumored.
14  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: June 25, 2024, 01:57:05 PM
Inter are very lucky to have a player like Hakan Calhanoglu where the player wants to stay when there is interest from other clubs. This midfield player from Turkey seems to want to end his football career at this Italian club and never wants to go to another club as long as he is still happy.

Recently there has been interest from Bayern Munich but that is an approach to the players, not the club. So as long as Hakan Calhanoglu can reject the offer that comes then they are very happy with his decision. Inter still needs him to win various titles and with Inter's current performance it would be a huge disadvantage if they lost a midfielder like him.

INEOS's confidence in Erik ten Hag seems to be starting to increase as they have made a new offer to the Manchester United coach and will be signed in the near future. Everything has been prepared well until we wait for the final stage in the agreement which we will see soon.

Apart from that, there is a staff change where former Manchester United player and legend Ruud van Nistelrooy will be appointed as a strong candidate for the new coaching staff. He should be the person who knows best what Manchester United needs at the moment so that it can make the dressing room more open between the players. I think Manchester United has taken the right step by bringing him in and I hope everything will go smoothly with the new Dutch duo in the competition next season.

One by one Real Madrid players left this summer after Nacho previously joined Al-Qadsiah, now it is Joselu's turn to follow him to the Saudi league. Joselu will not stay at Real Madrid even though management is willing to redeem his 1.5 million clause from Espanyol and it seems he feels happy after winning various titles with Real Madrid in one season.

On the other hand, I think it was the right decision from Joselu because his place at Real Madrid has been shifted by the arrival of several talented young players such as Mbappe and Endrick so if he stays he won't get the chance to play. So his decision to go to the Saudi league and earn more money was absolutely right. However, it is not yet clear which team will get the contract later.

So, which team will get Joselu? In my opinion, it might be Al-Ittihad considering that Benzema has been unreliable so far.
According to Fabrizio Romano, Joselu will join the Qatar League, not the Saudi Pro League, more precisely with Al Gharafa. We all realize that Joselu departure is very reasonable, because his opportunities to play in Real Madrid main squad next season will be drastically reduced after Mbappe arrival. Self-aware of this situation, I think Joselu has taken the right step in leaving Santiago Bernabeu. His contribution last season will always be remembered, if not exaggeratedly, Joselu was Real Madrid most successful loan ever. Joining Al Gharafa is also very profitable financially, Joselu will get high wages like European players who join the Saudi League. Joselu was lucky enough in his short period with Real Madrid, he managed to win three trophies in one season.

That's right friends, I was quite surprised after I posted this and tried surfing social media to find the fact that Joselu chose the Qatar club as his new stop and I think that was also the right decision. It seems he wants to avoid popularity in the Saudi league and try somewhere else which will certainly be no less enjoyable at the end of his football playing days.

On the other hand, it seems that only Nacho has joined one of the Saudi League clubs, namely Al-Qadsiah, and this was confirmed more clearly a few days ago by Fabrizio Romano. Nacho will get a two-year contract and it looks like the distribution of European players will start to even out in the Saudi league. However, I am sure this is not over yet and several other Saudi league teams will try to hunt for other European players to increase the depth of their squad next season.

PSG and RB Leipzig are potential for haunting talents. Xavi Simons is 21 years and still young, he's in possession of stellar stats in both country and club level football. He's a key player for Netherlands and have played a major role under Netherlands headcoach, Ronald Koeman. Perhapes Xavi Simons have made his intention clear, he's not talking about any possible moves either leaving or extending his contract, everything concerning his decision will be made after the Euros because he doesn't want to be distracted from performing good job.

Xavi Simons' contract runs until 2027, so at the moment we are talking about extending the rent. He spent last season with Leipzig and now he would like to extend his rent again. Bayern would also like to have this player at the team, but if he spent a year in Leipzig, then it is clear that he made friends there and would like to continue working in Leipzig, although if we evaluate this from a development perspective, he should consider Bayern, but it is not clear whether he will be able to get enough playing time in this team.
One of those talents that is rarely seen and I am always happy to see him on the pitch. Xavi Simons is a talented young player and I think it would be a bit of a shame if he continues to stay at Leipzig. If there is an offer from Bayern Munich, he must consider it because after all it is very important for his experience. His position as an attacking midfielder and being able to fill both wings is very important for player rotation so his role will be very useful.

However, if you look at PSG's current situation, it is clear that they really need Xavi Simons, especially with Mbappe leaving, he can fill the left winger position. So maybe if PSG wants him back, it is possible that the offers from the two German clubs will be rejected and Xavi Simons will have to work under Luis Enrique.

Some would be of the opinion that arsenal have already done their best and its just that Manchester City and pep Guardiola are too resilience to that fact that Arsenal also have earned the right to win that trophy and for arsenal all they can do is actually to just keep on recruiting players and making their team strong enough for them to actually come out of the shadows of Manchester City and pep Guardiola too.
The reality is that it is like that and maybe it will continue as long as Pep Guardiola is Manchester City coach. The reason is that it is very difficult to break Manchester City's dominance, especially since sometimes they start to get serious towards the end of the season. On the other hand, Arsenal were very good at the start of the season but they often stumbled at the end of the season which resulted in them losing a lot of points.

Arsenal's losses were then put to good use by Manchester City to overtake them and we have seen this over the last two seasons. However I actually hope Arsenal can win the trophy but they don't even have the luxury to emphasize to their rivals that they are worthy.
19  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: June 24, 2024, 01:34:59 PM
Conte has an excellent reputation from his experience in managing Italian clubs. especially when he was coach of Juventus and Inter Milan. We have seen Conte's extraordinary record in his success in making the team he managed become champions.
It is very clear that Conte's reputation is very much in line with the philosophy of the Serie A game, why is that because Conte spent his career and the beginning of his career as a player he wore the Lecce 1985/1992 and Juventus 1992/2004 uniforms and it is very clear that he has always been successful in bringing Serie A clubs to win the Scudetto, but it is different when handling Premier League clubs, he always had difficulties and even ended up being fired.
The only team in England that he failed to give a trophy to was Spurs because at Chelsea he succeeded in winning the English Premier League major title so it wasn't Antonio Conte's fault considering that Spurs didn't seem to have a winning mentality. Even though Antonio Conte came to the club to give them something they had been missing for a long time, unfortunately the team was just a competitor without being able to win anything for years.

Returning to Serie A will definitely make him feel at home so he will have much more freedom in winning important matches. With Napoli he will continue the journey that was postponed and there is no doubt that he will become a real competitor for other big teams. Please note that Antonio Conte is one of the best coaches in this competition so I think other strong teams should not underestimate Napoli this time because they are in good hands.
20  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: June 24, 2024, 01:13:24 PM

Bayern Munich ended without a trophy for the first time in over ten years last season. Bayern Munich has a great record of winning trophies, but last season was not on their side, there is no inconsistency in their games, which is why they did not win the league. Bayer Leverkusen, on the other hand, never gave up in their games last season, even when they were losing in the 90 plus, they fought hard to win or draw their games. And that is how they want the team to perform, when Bayern Munich started conceding goals, they gave up on their games, they couldn't perform like a team trying to win the league title, and they lacked motivation from the manager.

The difference in mentality is clearly visible between these two teams where Leverkusen really doesn't want to lose and all the players agree to always pursue the good results they are achieving regardless of how long it takes them. Because of this, they are much more mature and use their last abilities to avoid defeat.

I think Bayern Munich next season will still be the same because they don't have as mature a preparation as they did last season and on the other hand, Leverkusen will be much more used to it after going through these difficult times to win the title. So I will continue to favor Leverkusen with the minimum number of players and they don't need to be afraid of pressure from Bayern Munich who continue to improve the depth of their squad.
