MODJO
Implementing moderator services into the Blockchain.Abstract – Version 1.0 – December 2017
The old days
Classic employment and staffing agencies were born to help businesses that have difficulty finding qualified employees. They work as a bridge between demand and offer. Thanks to classic (newspapers) and online (recruitment) advertising these agencies can count on a large number of skilled workers, ready to be hired. This process is convenient for both parts because the bureaucratic part is entrusted to the agency.
For temporary jobs, staffing agencies handle hiring and terminations, taxes, medical insurance, payroll, stages, professional training and so on. Usually clients only need to give the number of workers needed, timeframe and rate. Employment and staffing agencies earn money by charging clients.
Employers prefer temporary workers because they can get tax advantages and workers usually don’t receive special benefits like pension plan, they also tend to need less training because when they are hired, it’s supposed that they already have certain skills already developed.
How MODJO works
MODJO will work in a similar way to classic agencies, but it will be specialized in recruiting moderators and administrator for online communities, such forums, websites, chats and social media. The core website will host the Employment Service that will work as a bridge between demand and offer. Both potential moderators and employers will have the ability to register to MODJO website and post their ads.
MODJO coins will be used as instrument to register, order and keep a role inside our network.
A moderator will have to deposit a certain amount of MODJO coins to be added to the official “moderators list”, which will be available to the employers to browse. Each moderator, at the act of registration, will need to sign a pre-employment contract with MODJO. Also, they will need to fill up a form which will help MODJO clients to choose the best employee for their company.
Every client will access the website and moderators list for free, and will able to choose the best one to hire, or publish a new ad looking for a moderator or administrator. The client will be able to choose from a brief list of pre-requisites and add new ones according to what they need, together with all the needed details. Each ad will expire only if a job is taken. At the act of publishing, the client will need to set a salary or single payments and deposit the corresponding amount (in BTC currency) to MODJO escrow.
Once demand and offer meet and the job is taken, a smart contract will lock the client’s money until the expiry of the same. Once moderator’s job is done, both inspector and client will set the job as
“completed” and MODJO escrow will send the money to the moderator. MODJO will deduct a small percentage from the salary or single payment.
The Inspectors
MODJO will offer another type of worker called “inspector”. Every inspector will ensurethat the moderator will respect the employer’s will. The inspectors will have to deposit a certain amount of MODJO coins to be added to the “inspectors list”. Every time a contract is locked, all the inspectors wil receive an email with a job proposal, they will have 24 hours timeframe to accept it or not. Every inspector will deduct a small percentage from the salary or single payment.
Distinction between temporary and full time jobs
MODJO will feature two escrow procedures, one designed for temporary jobs and one for full time jobs. More details about these procedures will be shared in the upcoming MODJO whitepaper.
Moderator roles
Every potential moderator must be aware of his role according to the following list:
- preparation (developing community rules)
- atmosphere (estabilishing formal or informal ambience depending on employer's requests)
- neutrality (towards community)
- procedures (maintaining order)
- fairness (treating everyone in the same manner)
- substance (encouraging relevant information sharing)
Inspector roles
Every potential inspector must be aware of his role according to the following list:
- report any incident to the escrow and MODJO team
- make sure moderator plays its role correctly
- collect data on moderator behavior
Job and salary dispute
Every dispute will be handled by MODJO team. In case of need, we will collect proof and other material from all the interested parts and communicate an official answer within 48 hours.

ZEROCOIN technology
Brand new cryptocurrency build up on top of Bitcoin code implementing NIST5 Algo (BLAKE - Grøstl - JH - Keccak - Skein) with a POW of ZERO blocks to perform a smooth and a stable chain running even if no wallet are staking on chain 24/7.
FULL POS coin with a block time of 30 seconds and a Coinbase Maturity of 30 blocks. Yearly reward is established at 8% yearly fixed rate, with a 12 hours Min Stake Age and Unlimited Max Stake Age.
MODJO comes with ZEROCOIN libzerocoin C++ library that implements the core cryptographic routines of the Zerocoin protocol. Zerocoin is a distributed anonymous cash extension for Bitcoin-type (hash chain based) protocols. The protocol uses zero knowledge proof to implement a fully decentralized coin laundry.
The Zerocoin protocol is provably secure and uses well-studied cryptographic primitives.

MODJO QT wallet is build with WebEngine DLL that allows multimedia and browser access directly on top of wallet application, like in-wallet browser-video-games-chat-trading and more.
MODJO Accumulator Tech: one-way cryptographic accumulators allow parties to combine many elements into a constant-sized data structure. This structure allows one to prove efficiently that a specific value is contained within the set, without disclosing the value of the member. In Zerocoin, the network computes an accumulator A over all coin commitments (c1, …., cn), along with the appropriate membership witnesses for each item in the set. The witness is simply the accumulator of all coins with the exception of one, and during a zerocoin spend transaction, the user needs to prove knowledge of one such witness.
