Ok. But, that seems inefficient for massive logs across 20+ markets. I encourage you to add a log for this in the future.

What am I looking for in the logs that would indicate that it's a user-created order?

As far as I can tell, this is not a good solution. I have some logs that are >27 MB long. Even with the method you suggest, I'd still have to search through 200k lines of log.

It'd make more sense to have a unique log for created orders only.

Basically a list/csv of all Ping Orders that I created in the "Ping Order Creator" box. Not pings that were created by the program.

Trying to find an easy way to find only the ones that I created without having to search through the logs.

If you click 'Parameter update' before you create a new ping order then you'll essentially be bookmarking your initial ping, making it easy to find in the logs.

Is there a log from the "Ping Order Creator"?

Sampey,

Will the below affect CAT on Bittrex?

"Bittrex is committed to providing fair and efficient price discovery and these changes are designed to improve the overall trading experience on our markets.

Removing stale orders:  Effective today, Bittrex will be removing orders that are older than 28 days.  As we’ve communicated in the past, many of these orders have no reasonable expectation of being filled and clog the order books.

Raising the minimum trade size:  Within the next 2 weeks, the minimum trade value for orders will go from 50,000 Satoshis to 100,000 Satoshis.  We will also require a minimum trade quantity.  For example, DOGE trades at 22 satoshis.  The minimum trade quantity is 4500 DOGE and the minimum trade value is 100000 satoshis.  The smallest order in the book is 100000 DOGE at 1 satoshi each.  The largest order in the book is 4500 DOGE at 2 btc each.

Creating minimum tick sizes: Within the next 2 weeks, on a per market basis, we will be instituting minimum tick sizes that are based on the current price of the market.  The target is to have minimum trade sizes that are near 0.1% of the current price.  The current minimum tick size is 1 satoshi.  For example, Ethereum trades at 0.0577 Bitcoin.  Bids and asks can only be placed in 0.0001 increments.  So the next level on the bid side of the orderbook will be 0.0576 and 0.0578 on the ask.

A general statement about market manipulation tactics:  Bittrex actively discourages any type of market manipulation, including pump groups.  Consistent with our terms of service, we will suspend and close any accounts engaging in this type of activity and notify the appropriate authorities."

Ok. But what about BUY ALL? Is the ALL all of my BTC in the exchange if that's the paired currency?

What parameter is used for the "All" in Buy All stop loss? Is it the amount of paired currency I have in the exchange or only what CAT has been ping-ponging with?

Does a triggered Pong Stop Loss prevent new ping creation? Example. SELL ALL if Market Price goes OVER .1. Would it start PING buying again if the price goes under .1 or do I manually have to start a new PING Buy?

Is anyone using CAT on a VPS? If so, is there one and specs that work well for you?

That is actually an interesting question. I would image you might endure extra costs because of the number of calls to exchanges in multiple markets.

I saw some older replies briefly mentioning VPSs. But, am interested in more info. Provider? Ram/Computer Specs/OS?

I'd really love to get rid of my in-home pc. I hate having it running 24/7 just for CAT.

I've been having issues with Kraken lately. Mostly around the decimal accuracy. Here's the latest error message from the log.

2017-09-06 12:10:13| **************************************************************************************************************************************************************************
                     * Error : OCR : Create Order (From Ping Trade) Error From Kraken : ErrorCode : {"error":["EOrder:Invalid price:XETHZUSD price can only be specified up to 2 decimals."]} *
                     **************************************************************************************************************************************************************************

Any ideas on how to fix this?

How many open markets on one exchange is too many?

Do you plan to support binance?

Will GDAX be added to exchanges in the future?

GDAX still request documents for layer 1 right?
In other words is there a way to trade on GDAX without send documents?

It does look like you need to upload docs to create an account. Is that a problem for the CAT program?

No it's a problem for me :-)
i don't want to give personal documents to an exchange i don't use and i don't trust (well to be honest i don't trust any exchange  Grin Grin Grin).

Ahhh... I think I understand. You can't implement the api because you don't want to create an account to test it with. Is that correct?

16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][POOL] Mining Pool Hub - Multipool. Multialgo, Auto Exchange to any coin. on: July 13, 2017, 06:49:46 AM
I am getting the following error from ccminer klaust occasionally when mining myriadgroestl or groestl:
- stratum recv_line failed, reconnecting in 30 seconds
But it never recovers. There is another stratum error popping up from time to time. There's not much info on the Internet on this error apart from the ones stating that this is a pool issue. Does anybody know how to fix this?

I get this occasionally as well. Mine usually happens with neoscrypt. I haven't found a solution either.  I just end up closing the miner when I catch it.

Is it a mining pool hub thing or a multi pool miner thing?

I've been getting a message saying "You've had 1 failed login attempts! Reset counter".

It seems someone is trying to break into my account too.

Could you pls teach me how to set awesome miner to connect this pool?
Or how to config your multipoolminer bat file from the beginning.
Sorry for a very basic question but I just jump into this huge world. Q _ Q

For Multipool Miner, you can launch it by right clicking on MulitpoolMiner.ps1 and entering your Miningpoolhub username. You will need to do this each time you launch it.

For the Multipool Miner bat file, right click the start.bat file and select edit.
  • Change all instances of aaronsace to your Miningpoolhub username.
  • Change your -location if you're not from europe to either us or asia.
  • Delete and of the hardware types that you don't plan to use next to -type. In my case I only mine with nvidia cards, so I deleted amd and cpu
  • Modify what -algorithm you do or don't want to use.

I messed around with Awesome Miner yesterday and got it to work. I had to trouble shoot a recjected connection from MPH. It turns out, that when you put the worker name into the setup wizard in Awesome Miner it has to be in this format username.workername. The username is your MPH username. The workername is something you make up. I went with myusername.awesomeMinerTest. That way I can see it as a different worker on the MPH worker page.
