Basically a list/csv of all Ping Orders that I created in the "Ping Order Creator" box. Not pings that were created by the program.

Trying to find an easy way to find only the ones that I created without having to search through the logs.

If you click 'Parameter update' before you create a new ping order then you'll essentially be bookmarking your initial ping, making it easy to find in the logs.

Hello CAT users.

I've alerted Sampey to a possible bug within the software but he won't read the PDF document I took the time compiling and presenting, preferring plain text instead.

https://www.dropbox.com/s/jobbojejywewbzr/20180326%20AMP-BTC%20Wrong%20Gain%20trade.pdf?dl=0

In the pdf I created I present all the evidence of a possible bug, screenshots from exchanges, log files etc.

If someone can replicate or confirm this possible bug, I'll rewrite it in plain text and go back to Sampey with it.

Cheers, Mark.

i've taken a look from a sandbox environment (sorry for that, but i cannot open some kind of files, it's too risky, nothing personal of course)
it seems that a PRICE LIMIT with adequate = true rules was triggered.

2018-03-26 02:05:32| PPC(NO-BUY-PO) : Always Create Pong Order : Ref Price Is 0.00004142 Price Calculated is 0.00003790
2018-03-26 02:05:34| PPC(NO-BUY-PO) : Check Limit Rule PING-PONG LIMIT (Adequate:true) - Never BUY UNDER Low 24H Market Price +
 5% VS Calculated Price 0.00003790 Comparing Value : 0.00004135 Limit Applied! Price is Adequate to 0.0000413595

2018-03-26 02:05:35| PPC(NO-BUY-PO) : New Order Data Last Check Ok, With Roundings :
                     Warning : Rounded Price : 0.0000413595 -> 0.00004135
                     Warning : Rounded Quantity : 93.0412447055 -> 93.04124470

Order was executed at :

2018-03-26 02:06:45| Dynamic-PONG(CAT-ef64/38871629620) BUY 93.04124470@0.00004135 Current 93.04124470 | PPO : A Trade Has Occured : BUY 93.04124470@0.00003960

With real price of 0.00003960 (there was a match at 0.00003960 price instead of 00004135, and this is at your advantage)

Considering this event your gain was 4.4% (Net Gain In BTC : 0.00015432 / Gain in % : 4.3940125)

About your questions :
- Why does a Static Trade then turn into a Dynamic Trade?
because you're trading in dynamic mode. And you create a STATIC Ping inside a dynamic algorithm.
In that case only your PING order (Created from GUI) are static

- Why does a Static Trade starting a 8.500% gain, turn into a Net Gain In BTC : 0.00015432 / Gain in % : 4.39401255?
That's the answer above.

- Why does it appear that “Create Ping Orders Only If % Market Spread is >” set to “0.500” create a ping trade at 0.500% instead of the 8.500%?
That options means "If % Spread between Best Buy/Best Sell Current Orders book prices is > 0.5" then create pings.
this is not related in any way with your % gains.

4. Isn’t the purpose of “Create Ping Orders Only If % Market Spread is >” to stop a ping creation until the Market Spread conditions are met?
yes, but we are talking about current % Spread between order books. Nothing more than this.

5 Are these bugs?
No, this is exactly what it was expected to happens.

Initial Ping was created as a Static trade, but appears to have become a Dynamic trade after the 1st Pong?

If you look at these two trades;

2018‐03‐25 16:24:21 Sell 0.00003981 92.80771118 0.00369467
2018‐03‐25 16:05:32 Buy 0.00003960 93.04124470 0.00368443

The software sold at 0.500% gain, instead of 8.5% as in the parameter.

I do not understand how the software can sell at 0.5% gain, when it is set up as 8.5% gain in the parameter, which can be seen in the logs.

"Parameters/Mode/PingPong Mode: Normal/Static"

Okay. I understand that better now.

In Ping Order Creator, if I set up a Ping Type of STATIC, and want it to remain as STATIC, I need to change Parameters/Mode/PingPong Mode: from Normal to STATIC.

Normal is DYNAMIC trading.

So that part is answered, but I want to understand why CAT sold at 0.500% gain instead of the parameters 8.5% gain.

As i already told you : if you create STATIC PING inside a dynamic algorithm only PING CREATE BY YOU (From the gui) will remain static.

in which way these 2 orders are related? Is the Buy the POng of the sell?
Or these 2 orders doesn't have any relationship?
you can't take 2 random trades of opposite type and check if the spread is > Your % GAIN.

Perhaps I should ask you how are they not related? To me, the timing of the two trades - 19 minutes apart, plus the logs in sequential order show me they are related.

In the pdf;

2018‐03‐25 16:05:32 Buy 0.00003960 93.04124470 0.00368443 is the 1st Pong and
2018‐03‐25 16:24:21 Sell 0.00003981 92.80771118 0.00369467 is the 2nd Ping, 19 minutes after at 0.5% gain instead of 8.5% as in the parameter.

Either I'm very confused, I'm not getting it, or something else is going on Sampey.

2 Order are related when the PONG is created starting from a TRADE that occurs over a PING

PING -> TRADE -> PONG

In any other case 2 orders are not related.

For all reading this thread, particularly potential buyers of the software please note:

I am only 8 weeks into cryptocurrency and bot trading world.
I have no experience in trading.
I'm still learning the software and it's capabilities.
Yes, you can make real profit with the software.

Also, notice:

How quickly Sampey responds to users of the software.
How patient Sampey is when users of the software are still learning and maybe asking newb questions.

Thanks Sampey.

Okay Sampey. I will accept your assessment.

At the moment all I see is a buy order, then 19 minutes later a sell order.
And instead of the gain being at 8.5% as in my parameter, it's 0.5%

I do not understand how this has happened, I am confused and not sure how to proceed from this point.

I will keep reading and analysing and if I find out what happened I'll post back.

just get the full log and search the full flow :

- From the Ping to the Pong and you will find all relatioship.

CAT Orders have 2 ID : 1 Is the Exchange ID, the other is the CAT internal id.
Search using that ID and you will find all the info

As far as I can tell, this is not a good solution. I have some logs that are >27 MB long. Even with the method you suggest, I'd still have to search through 200k lines of log.

It'd make more sense to have a unique log for created orders only.

Basically a list/csv of all Ping Orders that I created in the "Ping Order Creator" box. Not pings that were created by the program.

Trying to find an easy way to find only the ones that I created without having to search through the logs.
