Made a big change, the Reviews can now be made anonymously. No registration needed anymore.

Well had a few people literally write reviews to their fingers bled, but I also kicked a bunch of their reviews out due to spammy nature, and facts didn't match up.

Bump on the .002 Promotion for reviews (again we lowered the payout because the price jumped so high, same amount in USD as before though).

For a short period of time we are reopening up our promotion! This time round only reviews will get payouts. They have to be quality reviews. We have put the payout at .002 (due to the massive spike in bitcoin price). Please feel free to shoot any questions. Please remember to add your btc address at the end of your review!

Well the backend is completely overhauled, I've worked out most bugs. I just redesigned the homepage and was wondering if you guys could give me any feedback.

We have closed Round 3. Thanks for all the people who participated. We are about to do a major backend overhaul and will re open another round after this is completed in about 1 weeks time.
Will the payout still be .004? It will be assessed at the time of Round 4. If for instance the bitcoin price drops to 100 then it will be raised, and if it goes up to 300 it will be dropped. |

No limit but we have gotten much more strict on the payout criteria due to the increase in review payout value. We can clearly see when someone is adding a lot of reviews in a row and start get spammy rather then helpful.

well its funny he used all of them but only payed out some? wtf  I payed out the ones that qualified for the promotion. You have a twisted sense of how a contest works. If you don't follow the guide lines you won't get paid out. I don't know how many times I've had to make it clear to you. I pm'd you, I had the system message you what didn't qualify, and I explained multiple times on this forum. I have been more then professional with you. As far as when the third round begins I will let everyone know. |

I don't remember which ones you were not paid out for. The system should have sent you emails alongside the ones you didn't get payouts for. Secondly you run the risk of not being paid out for what I mentioned above. It will be published regardless of a payout or not (unless it does not qualify for that listing or is inappropriate). This is a promotion when you click submit you agree to the terms I outlined. Your posts are turning into spamming to make a quick btc and not reviewing whats relevant.
But for instance:
"Mt. Gox has been the keystone in the bitcoin universe. Started trading tradeable "magic" cards they developed into a large full on powerhouse exchange. Problems have emerged recently that are still up in the air with U.S. regulators and litigation with another bitcoin company. I'd wait and see before going too big here right now."
That is a describing the history and current events and issuing a warning. It isn't reviewing the service they provided to you. A review would be something like: "I used Mtgox for a while until recently when they dropped dwolla support. Their trade engine is slow and buggy. They seemed to have another issue with withdrawing USD. I would not recommend them at all. I'd use x instead until mtgox has figured out their problems."
Here is another example:
"Private Internet Access is the VPN Service provider used for bitcointalk and many otother popular bitcoin related websites. They are very reliable and have a stateside legal team. I like how they are eager to address issues in a timely mnner and have great customer support."
Reviewing a vpn context is key, if you review a vpn make it towards a VPN: "I got consistent speed's and I like the fact they take bitcoin to stay anonymous. I use their VPN client to connect and have had little issues with it. I am able to download at 90% my original bandwidth' etc I've noticed that my IP has stayed hidden to outside providers."
I sent you a PM on October 19, 2013, 04:23:44 AM (server time), warning you of the issue if you'd like me to post that PM here I'd be more than glad to.

ok i have like 3 i was never paid for..i think many thanks You were not paid out for submissions that were not reviews. Some of your submissions were actually just descriptions of the website and if you thought you liked the look of it. When the service/prdouct itself wasn't reviewed. |

Over at btcpages.net we've been working long and hard on a physical location directory with map's built in to it. It will be launching in a few day. It will be easy to find local physical locations that accept bitcoins.

Are you high? Your writing makes no sense. Your idea makes no sense. You re following no logical thought pattern or anything.

You did this all wrong. You are trying to build a company based on a technology you have no clue about. You need to do some research. You should have googled this or read through forums or contacted people personally that run websites like this.
To give you an idea you build it on a platform like Magento (a e-commerce CMS) Wordpress (a CMS), joomla with a shopping cart component or plugin etc. Then use a plugin for the shopping cart that allows you to use coinbase or many of the bitcoin merchant services.
I don't want to put down your hopes and dreams but go back to the drawing board and plan this thing out. Learn what it takes to build a complete company/site.
I understand. Im still going to let it run and add improvements as I go. You have to start somewhere. Thanks for the advice Hard to make improvements on a website that has nothing but basic HTML and a website building tool thats horrific. First drop GoDaddy's website buildign software. I don't like these sites to much but they beat the hell out of GoDaddy's solutions. Try Wix or Virb or something that can give you a better looking site. That would be the first major improvement that you could make based on your skillset. |
