2  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Philippines SEC warns against crypto investment. on: August 27, 2020, 05:42:43 AM
Common mindset of the toxic ones in here actually. Many are showing their fakes balances in Facebook and that's why I don't believe anymore in any of my friends there about the "do you want to earn at home with just your mobile phone?". Because I know it is just like a referral crap that they're gonna give to me, and it might not be a crypto earnings but it is still the same scheme.
If seen this a lot, they stating about work from home but when you inquire the concept is the same like pyramiding earning thru comission and doing some catcha's. Before around 2014-2017 I did alot of that and I earn but nowadays it is more like a fraud.
3  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Facial Recognition Can Help to Come Out from Bitcoin Social Media Scams on: August 11, 2020, 06:15:02 AM
What do you mean putting facial recognition in every transaction? or it will be added in kyc requirements in creating bitcoin address. It might work but still the security of the owner will still be at risk. When the profile leaks.

5  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: Bitcoin Revolution Scam on: January 30, 2020, 05:40:14 AM

Sana madagdagan pa yung research mo about sa scam sites
6  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What you Want from a secure wallet? on: December 11, 2019, 01:59:49 AM
I just want a more secure wallet rather than that is there are option to pay bills, shop online and still has a security features for the users like pin or sms notification or even an email notification.
7  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who has entered a shop (non-BTC accepting) and asked if they will accept Crypto? on: November 29, 2019, 01:40:43 PM
In my experience in our country none of them are accepting crypto as payment unless they are already into crypto community and know how to use it. One thing for sure is there will be time that banks will make a crypto atm and use it as debit/credit card to use in shop.

10  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Gov'ts and Institutions buying up Bitcoin on: July 23, 2019, 04:01:49 AM
How can governments ban or stop bitcoin and cryptocurrency when they are actually using it see here: https://www.smartcompany.com.au/startupsmart/news/horizon-states-democratic-blockchain-fisheries-council-election/
In that case not all the governments are using it that's why there are still banning it. As per article Naamani hopes it will lead to bigger and better things we as an individuals have different perspective like Naamani said I can say its true and what the technology can do in the future.
11  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Social Media Lists about Bitcoins and Others on: July 15, 2019, 11:51:23 AM
I truly and fully recognized the lists you have presented here about social media's information about bitcoin. I actually bookmarked this and glad I saw your thread for me to engaged some additional learnings from some of the trends and updated news. I saw John McAfee and other bitcoin enthusiasts. Great buddy. I can now easily follow them in twitter.

Oh, let us remember that not all bitcoin news and statements in social media are true. However, some are misleading infos and fuds. Good thing you chose the most  viewed and popular ones.
I thought I'm the only one who will bookmarked this thread and suddenly I just read your comment.

Gread work on compiling all the list about bitcoin on social media. No worries if the statement on the social media is true or not because at the end of the day its our decision to follow them or not. But reading the enthusiast on crpyto gives me hope to stay and the feeling that I'm on the right track.
12  Local / Pilipinas / Drug Syndicates using Bitcoin in Philippines on: June 10, 2019, 01:21:45 PM

14  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2018-2019 betting on: April 23, 2019, 02:10:52 PM
I`m just trying Bucks earlier because the odds are too high and I'm happy that I won but still regret the amount that I place bet on bucks. I hope the odds on bucks vs celtics will be that high I'm taking the risk if that will happen in game 1.

15  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Laser-etching a Cold Storage Coin on: March 29, 2019, 07:00:12 AM
I was amaze on how they made that kind of coin until I saw this video. Using this kind of storage for your coin Laser scheching on a piece of metal are safe since it cannot be hack unless you misplace it cannot be damage until you melt it. The different from most of the coin out there is the printing of it. It made easier to produce.

17  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: ‘Bitcoin Is Not Money’ Because We Cannot Print It – Banks on: March 21, 2019, 03:49:56 AM
Central banks are trying to put bitcoin in their definition of money and it doesn't work and will never work.
Their definition of money is stuck in the 20th century. We shouldn't worry about it and move on and the definitions will have to be changed in time. When people were travelling on horses and shooting bows there were many laws that later changed or became forgotten when they didn't do those things anymore.

It's more than money even other people thought it didn't work. This has been proven for years and it sustained a strong foundation despite of fud and fake news circulating, which competition tried to pull btc down. Bitcoin is a form of digital money and not in a physical form, which you can use it though web network. It can only be appreciated through modern gadgets like phones and computers, you can use this asset using this technology gadgets.
I agree to it for me bitcoin is an digital asset which is why bitcoin is created to use it in web and transact virtually. I don't think central banks are against with bitcoin they do not just want to lose money since bitcoin has a flaws because the value of it goes up and down they want a stable price of it like the money currency it don't up high or down like bitcoin. The stability of their investment are what they wanted.
18  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 1000 Bitcoin: The World's Most Expensive Prius on: March 12, 2019, 02:46:59 AM
So he bought Prius for 1000 Bitcoins years ago, that is a whole lot of money now. Well he never knew Bitcoin will get to its current height as of today so he had to use his money to get what he wanted as of that time. So many cases are seen in so many places, people who sold their bitcoin before the bull run.
Who wouldn't know what will bitcoin capable of in the future and at that moment few people don't trust investing on bitcoin since only few people are using it unlike today million of people are using it and still counting. At that moment when he bought a prius using his bitcoin he is already satisfied on what the value it is.

20  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Union Bank of the Philippines Launching Cryptocurrency ATM on: February 13, 2019, 01:17:45 AM
Such ATMs will be used by a small number of people, but it is still very good that they appear. At first it will not be very relevant, but in the future I think that such ATMs will be almost everywhere.

It's actually just a test, an experiment. It's only one ATM machine. The bank owners are future-oriented and they wanted to be at the forefront of fintech. But they want to see if there's real demand first.
As a filipino we should use this machine even though it quite far from our home so that union bank will think and add more bitcoin atm but what if they sync the bitcoin atm to their ordinary atm machine they will inject the software that they are using right now and I think it will cost less because they will not creating a new atm machine but instead just update the software with an bitcoin function.
