321  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: alll coin going down. what should we do? on: January 17, 2018, 06:05:01 AM
In my opinion the best thing for you to do during this trend is to monitor and observe its value until it goes down (to its possible minimum value of its trend) and buy more once it is starting to go up. However this is a risk that you must take but if it reaches a high value again you would surely gain bigtime out of it.
322  Economy / Economics / Re: why should bitcoin! on: January 17, 2018, 02:45:29 AM
I guess people has been willing and able to to invest in bitcion due to its popularity. There may be other alt coins out there which offers the same opportunity as bitcoin but since bitcoin has been able to established itself more than others, people have become more familiar with it and there are those who knows only bitcoin as the alt coin that exist.
323  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin has dropped so invest more on: January 16, 2018, 11:52:15 PM
This is the natural reaction of conservative people having an investment. The drop down in the value of bitcoin would make them panic but I agree with you that if we look at it in the long run, this is the best time when we must place an investment if we are really planning to expand our investment on it. We all know that the value of it fluctuates and this may be our opportunity to earn big in bitcoin.
324  Economy / Economics / Re: What will happen to the banks if people uses cryptocurrencies more than fiat? on: January 16, 2018, 09:23:19 PM
If it happen that cryptocurrencies will be used more by the people rather than the fiat money, I think banks will be just like how they operate nowadays since the use of bitcoin as mode of payment is like using credit/debit card as well. Also, banks will surely make a way on how they can merge their opearation with bitcoin.
325  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoins in place of cash on: January 16, 2018, 01:11:48 PM
Honestly, I think that this is not that ideal since the value of bitcoin still measured thru the value of fiat money that exists in each country. Even if more merchants will be willing to accept bitcoin as payment, I think that this will be an option for payment and not solely as the offered mode of payment
326  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Internet Required for retail purchases? on: January 16, 2018, 10:00:09 AM
In this matter I think part of merchants’ willingness to avail bitcoin as one of the mode of payments in a store is to provide a source of internet for its clients. Currently since not all people have their personal internet connection, these should come on package if we will be using bitcoin as our payment mode
327  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin now makes me feel a bit worried. on: January 16, 2018, 04:30:36 AM
Quotes are in decline for many coins now. This situation makes me a little nervous, what should I do now?

You act like a newbie it happens all the time, I believe you have bought bitcoin when it is already higher and you are on the losing side, just calm down like all the others who replied to your post, continue to hold or cry later when you see bitcoin price continue to soar again.
This is right do not panic for all the years come I am in using bitcoin this already happen, you just need is to wait for the price to pump again and if you hold your bitcoin right now you can use it in trading so the value of it can make it double so you're bitcoin won't stack on your wallet.
328  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin consuming too much Electricity. on: January 15, 2018, 09:11:19 PM
I agree, I think it is the best for the miners to invest on recyclable energies in able to help in decreasing their impact on the environment, hoewver this transition would need more capital and additional equipments in able to facilitate.
329  Economy / Economics / Re: Imagine Bitcoin recognized around the world. on: January 15, 2018, 08:05:53 AM
I think this already happend. Based on how people have celebrated their vitcories in bitcoin, I guess the world have already recognized bitcoin but not all countries have been willing to accept it in their conmmunity and in case all other bans will be removed and it will be officially accepted by the world, this will surely increase bitcoins value again.
330  Economy / Economics / Re: Can we totally eliminate all the banks in this world? on: January 15, 2018, 02:42:10 AM
I guess not. Banks have been there for how many centuries. Maybe crytocurrency can be part of the currrency but im bot sure it will demolish the bank. People still need a paper money because not all countries i mean people in a certain countries know about this cryptocurrency thingy. People will keep coming back from the bank to deposit or withdraw their earning or savings. Most people are doing the regular job so this is way too far to happen.
I think that would be almost impossible. Why ? Because people need a place to keep their money safe and big. We certainly can not keep all our money in physical form. When you were a child you must also be taught in school, if saving money through the piggy bank is risky and dangerous if for example a fire in your house. If the bank happens fire, the money we have can still be replaced. But do not get me wrong first. I read some comments on the person above, that in the long term maybe the bank may disappear. I need to point out that the bank will never disappear. Maybe the shape of the bank and its system will change, but it will never disappear.

Yeah. Its way too far to happen. People go to bank to deposit their money for safe keeping. People go to bank to even deposit their jewelries or any valuable things they have so that it will be guarded safely. So i guess that would be very hard to demolish banks. I got no problem with crytocurrency in fact this is another way of buying which is more convenient for online users. I think these two will work out together.
Banks is the safest way in keeping my money because even if they got rob they are totally insured that I can still withdraw it but in bitcoin If we get rob we cannot retreived it anymore. So there are very no way that banks will be ellininated.
331  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin the success ladder. on: January 15, 2018, 12:03:00 AM
I think this is what most bitcoin users have in their mind. The regret of being late over sone investment in it ornot being able to risk a larger amount of money in the past so that they will be now enjoying the fruit of their waiting. However, this is really part of our life, who would ever know that bitcoin will reach that much value during late 2017? What we just need now is to hope that it will happen again.
332  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Your first betting? on: January 14, 2018, 01:22:56 PM
My first bet as in for money or just for fun? Wink

If it was for fun then I would say it would of have been on who could make it to the pool first and then dive in to show who the winner is. Grin

For money it would be when I was 17 years old and bought a lottery ticket.
If that is even considered betting since you are drawn the numbers so that is out of your control who the winner is. Smiley

Every people in the works gamble at least one time in his or her life so also on that case I bet 1$ for fun in my childhood , gambling is one of the relaxation game and it clear your tensions in your mind but many people loss money in gambling . Before investing in gambling decide your aim after reaching it leave from that this is one of the good way to reduce losses in gambling .
Same with what you have experienced in tour childhood, I started with gambling just for fun and be able to get along with some friends who also plays. But there were those lucky times when I win and I realized that my goal that time was already for money and not just fun. I am just lucky enough that due to this realization, I was able to limit myself whenever I play.
333  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you think that bitcoin can reduce corruption? on: January 14, 2018, 10:20:11 AM
I think that the level of corruption has to be to become much higher as any official can request a bribe in cryptocurrency that on my vzgyad can't almost be traced
I agree with you that the level of corruption will increase and will not reduce corruption in each country. The fact that transactions are hard to be traced in bitcoin, it will increase the chances of corrupt official to get more funds thru it and not be able to get audited by the auditing bodies.
334  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A Q for Bitcoin gamblers. Are you affected by high transaction fees? on: January 14, 2018, 05:59:36 AM
Yes its hurting me to gamble because my funds at stock out of nowhere if i send a low fee but i pay with high fee it will double the amount of money i want to play, im not a big time gambler that spend a lot of bitcoin per transaction and not affected with the high fees.
I think the effect of the transaction fees depends on how much do you spend for gambling. Big time gamblers surely pays more than small time players. And of you are highly affected by these fees what more are those who play really huge amount of money. I guess it's nice if you will just play on those without fees to be paid off.
335  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The Gambler's way on: January 13, 2018, 07:05:11 AM
I think gambling would mostly be on the luck side and luck will always win against any statistics that we have. Those probabilities are endless but luck will just be arpund the corner. So if you are having that YOLO thing when you're gambling then it might lead you to failure on your finances for luck might not always be by your side
336  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is asset, not currency. on: January 12, 2018, 09:32:11 AM
With the current situation of bitcoin and the culture that we have, I guess it is not impossible if all the other countries will follow the same path Israel took over bitcoin. For me it is not a bad thing for as long as it has been officially accepted by our country and it will still give out the benefit that it provides us currently.
337  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Increasing Bitcoin supply on: January 12, 2018, 04:48:11 AM
Hey I don't understand this, if the BTC supply can't be increased, what do you mean by BTC mining ?
As far I knew if the Bitcoin reach the maximum capacity, then the mining fee will be removed then the bitcoin that will be mine will be too low because if we will have an unlimited supply of bitcoin the value of it will be at risk.
338  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Lost private key. on: January 11, 2018, 10:50:40 PM
I assume that you are using an Ethereum wallet and not a Bitcoin wallet cause you are pertaining to tokens.

Private keys is the most essential with any kind of cryptocurrency wallets so if you lose it then there is no way you can retreive your wallets. You have no any insurance in getting back your tokens anymore but if you still have an access to your Keystore File(UTC/JSON) with password then you can still login to your Ethereum address.

yes i agree with your opinion, if lost private key, you can still access to your wallet by using keystore file, if the lost private key is for ethereum wallet
Right but I think upon reading he did not back up it too that's why there are no reason for him to retrieve his wallet and the best thing to is to start over again with the newly created wallet so you can now start and forget what happen to your previous eth wallet.

340  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you think billionaires invest in BTC? on: January 11, 2018, 04:43:22 AM
I just always wonder if those billionaires still invest in btc. Do they even know btc exist?

Good question. I know it looks like it's impossible for someone still to not know about bitcoin, but I personally talk to people at least once in two weeks about bitcoin. And when I start I think this person should definitely know something because it's either a student of Economy or a person who I think aware of all modern trends. But to my surprise it is often happens that they know nothing about BTC.
Bitcoin is already spreading in the news like someone got scammed thru bitcoin in our country and I think billionaires know it and they might be afraid of it because of the news televise that bitcoin only used to scam people, but in reality the one who got scam is the person who don't have enough knowledge on bitcoin and just invest without a little background on what they are investing. But I hope someone must be interviewed bitcoin in a positive way not to be bias
