Ich habe hier eine Wallet die ist 4 Jahre alt. ca 600 Euro wert an Altcoins.
Habe es fertig gebracht, die Coins zu rund 0.04 BTC zu machen.
Kurze Frage: Wenn ich einen Altcoin verkaufen will, für den es kein Euro Pair gibt, muss ich über Bitcoin, Litecoin, ETH gehen. Aber in diesem Moment habe ich die Bitcoins ja gerade erst ein paar Minuten, wenn ich meine Altcoins auscashen will.
Gilt diese Haltefrist von 1 Jahr also für die Altcoins und überträgt sich auf die BTC, die ich dafür erhalten habe oder verlischt das, wenn ich das über Bitcoins auszahle, so dass ich die BTC noch einmal für 1 Jahr liegen lassen müsste?

Deine Coins sind deine Keys. In deiner wallet.dat sind einer oder mehrere private keys. Die private keys authentifizieren dich, dass die Transaktionen auf der Blockchain dir gehören. Jeder, der Zugriff auf einen dieser private keys hat, kann über die mit diesem Key assoziierten Transaktionen auf der Blockchain verfügen. Im Grunde gibt es also gar keine Coins, die sind nur eine Repräsentation von Transaktionen an dich. Darum willst du deine Keys nirgends anders haben als auf einem Computer, auf den nur du Zugriff hast. Aus jedem private key lässt sich genau ein eindeutiger public Key berechnen. Der Hash dieses public keys ist deine (Bitcoin/Altcoin-)Adresse.
Damit ist auch klar, warum du die Coins zur Börse übertragen musst: Die Deposit-Adresse gehört der Börse, die haben die private keys dafür auf ihren Servern liegen. Werden die gehackt (oder macht der Besitzer sich damit aus dem Staub) dann sind die Coins weg und nicht wieder zurück zu holen, solange du den private key nicht hast.
Eine Alternative sind dezentralisierte Exchanges. Da gibt es schon einige Versuche aber so richtig durchgesetzt hat sich das noch nicht, obwohl technisch gesehen jeder Coin, der von Bitcoin abstammt, das könnte. Mit dezentralisierten Exchanges, zb über Atomic Swaps, kannst du Coins traden, ohne dass sie deine Wallet verlassen müssen. Das Trading selber läuft dann über spezielle Smart Contracts auf der Blockchain...

Kannst du vergessen. Die Coins sind höchstwahrscheinlich weg.
Das ist der Grund, warum man niemals auf irgendwelchen Exchanges länger als nötig Coins rum liegen lässt.
Sicher sind die nur bei dir zu Hause. Und noch sicherer in einer Coldwallet (Paperwallet/Brainwallet ect).

Das größte Problem werden wohl die Steuern sein, die er zahlen muss. Vielleicht. Ich kenne die Prozedur auch nicht 100%, aber Bitcoins sind eigentlich nach einem Jahr steuerfrei, wenn man die so lange rumliegen lassen hat. Hat man damit getradet, sieht es aber evtl anders aus. Und mit den Ausnahmen kenne ich mich auch nicht so aus, ich weiß aber, dass das FinAmt Nachweise sehen wollen wird, wo die Coins her kommen. Hat er die zB für eine Dienstleistung bekommen, könnte eine gewerbliche Aktivität vorliegen, wo wieder andere Regeln gelten. Genauso wie wenn man die mined, dass ist ebenfalls gewerblich (auch wenn man kein Gewerbe hat).
Bei solchen Summen würde ich mich auf jedenfall bei einem Fachkundigen informieren. Das wird sicherlich etwas kosten, aber besser was bezahlen und den Gewinn mitnehmen, als ein Verfahren wegen Steuerhinterziehung an den Hals bekommen. Und wenn 700k einfach mal so auf deinem Konto landen, dann stellt so ziemlich jede Bank in Deutschland Fragen.
Also suche dir einen Anwalt, der sich mit Steuerrecht und Cryptocoins auskennt, zahle ihm ein Honorar für eine ordentliche Beratung und sei auf der sicheren Seite.
Rein technisch sieht es so aus, dass du die Coins zu sowas wie Kraken transferierst, dir ein Konto bei der angeschlossenen Bank besorgst und dann auszahlen lässt.
Sichere dir aber auf jeden Fall die wallet.dat bevor du irgend eine Bitcoin Wallet Software installierst. Die wallet.dat sind deine Private Keys. Wenn die weg sind, sind die Coins auch weg, für immer. Diese eine Datei ist also alles was du brauchst, um an deine Coins zu kommen und daher gerade rund 700k € wert... behandel sie entsprechend. Unter Windows liegt die Datei meistens unter %appdata%/bitcoin
Wozu ein Anwalt? Haben Sie den Beitrag gelesen? Ich glaube nicht. Also noch mal: die Gewinne sind nach einem Jahr Frei vom Steuer, und keiner wird Fragen woher die BTC kommen, die waren halt vor vor paar Jahren für Appel und Ei Bitte erst nachdenken, dann schreiben ;( Was weiß ich, was er alles damit gemacht hat vor Jahren. Steht ja jetzt alles da. Entweder es ist steuerfrei oder nicht. Wenn nicht dann halt Fachanwalt fragen. |

PND still keeps going, looking good, this coin slept long enough time for some ride! This coin is like Blackcoin, no premine, no ICO, decentralized, own blockchain, Proof of Stake algorithm, community driven. And also like Dogecoin with it's high supply and low fees which is perfect for microtransactions and donations. So to say the Dogecoin of PoS. And with the recent movement, I think it's about time for PND to ponder reaching out to better exchanges like Poloniex, Bittrex. Additionaly it should be simple for PND to activate atomic swaps. The basics should exist in the code already. With atomic swaps PND could go to decentralized exchanges like BarterDEX. Could be one of the first steps on your announced roadmap for 2018. this is an old coin, why a renewed interest now?
Yes Blackcoin is old. Older than all the hyped coins. But it's running stable. It has set new strandards like PoS3.0 and was copied plenty of times. Till now not one serious security or stability issue has appeared in Blackcoin or in the Blackcoin technology that's been used by any of it's clones. It's running for 4 years now stable, fast and secure. What do you want more from a crypto? I mean, besides from hypes and scams? |

Panda should somehow try to jump on the PoS bandwagon. Maybe with something like "The Dogecoin of PoS" or so (because PND was once a clone of Dogecoin and then switched to PoS). BTW what's PND's take on Atomic Swaps that are just going hot right now? This value of 1 satoshi in the initial ANN post is very low  , how is the project developing? It's like that for ages now on the exchanges. But that's normal for a coin that was already dead. If the devs get going this could change however. |

I remember the Wolong scam of 2014. It is funny now to see this anti-Wolong coin, which only existed to compete with the PANDA of Wolong, resurrect  While the genesis may have been to compete with the Wolong coin, it advanced a long way from that. Which is why it is still here today. That was a great time, started as a Doge fork to troll one huge scammer and then when the scammer was gone eventually PND lost it's purpose. It was actually my idea on IRC back then to implement PoS and an own multipool to Pandacoin when I discovered Blackcoin and thought it was a great idea to have a PoS coin and a miningpool that mines profitable coins and sells them to buy PND back. Amdoge managed to get that thing running and I had a lot of fun mining PND back then. Great to see, that it's getting developed again and I also like the donations to Panda aid funds! Now this great project just needs a few pushes to get it back into the light. Rank 150 on CMC should be possible at least, with the current BTC price, that rank would also mean ~100,000 USD donations to Pandas in China PS: My wallet only has one connection to the network, do you need nodes? first off it's great to see that PND still exists and even had updates on git.
I am actually somewhat active in Blackcoin, though I would be interested in becoming active here too. Blackcoin just pondered plans to create a multisig address that could be used to send a (free of choice) percent of the staking to and use it for donations, project funding and stuff.
Do you think something similar is possible with PND too?

Just've noticed that volume in China is 3 times bigger than on Polo.
The volume is higher and BLK is 1-2k sats higher on the Chinese exchanges. price dump? It's like this for more than a month now. Blackcoin has much more buy support in China than it has in the west and Polo has always been dumping the price. |

2014 is not repeating, we have moved on a fair bit since then I think. We have a possible protocol change to Bitcoin coming August I think it is. Any doubt and uncertainity will bring the price in but so far this isnt as harsh as it could be. Not by crypto standards is this really a hard sell off, its times like this to look at it holding up relatively strong I think.
I would match Blackcoin pricing similar to end of May. Very apparent negative sentiment but as then now possible for it to bottom out and rise, the reason being we are on the outside of a negative trend not the underside (we topped end of June and were already set to resolve a pullback before btc itself retracted). Anyway I'm willing to test my chart theory some
I have no panic at all, everyone who's longer in cryptos knows these graphs. They always look the same and they are also basically the same for every crypto (in regard to their level). The dev team is still here and others are also still contributing to the project. I see the current drop as an opportunity to buy more coins, knowing that the higher prices will return. |

Why is BLK price falling? Is it because BLK/XMR ?
Because the whole crypto market is crashing. ETH halved it's value after the hype (4 weeks ago). BTC on it's way below 2k. Other former top 10 coins like Stratis even lost 4 times it's value. Whole crypto market lost more than 22 billion USD in marketcap in the last 4 weeks. ICOs are selling out... 2014/2015 repeats itself. You now can either panic sell with a loss or use the opportunity to stock up your wallets for the next hype bubble. |
