The best, the greatest, the most important feature is fungibility. Monero is aiming for it, and Komodo as well. Without fungibility no coin will be a widely used currency. So i would single it out as very very important.. I like their way of getting pumped to the moon. This way, we can increase our bitcoin amount easily. They tend to announce new things related to their projects and this creates demand in specific altcoins. |

To rise from $1000 to $5000 would have seemed unbelievable to some.
Some? I am quite sure that 99% of the people wouldn't believe you if you would say that the market would reach $5000 before the end of 2017. I personally only consider the planned hard fork in November to be a temporary obstacle, and that's really it. I don't feel comfortable selling any of my coins anymore due to the fact that the profits we're making right now, are peanuts compared to the profits we'll be making in the next years -- we just need to have some patience.  No matter what others say, people should construct their own ideas about bitcoin price. We're sharing too many graphs and some of them could cause disinformation in the community. I don't expect any bear market from bitcoin in 2017. |

It's true that China is a big investor in bitcoin. However, there are bigger countries like Russia, Japan, and many more that contributes a lot in bitcoin. So, why bother if China banned their bitcoin. I think bitcoin will recover after a few months, so we just need to sit back and relax. What makes things worse is those people who panic because of this news. Japan is giving me patience and I tell myself to be an holder. Japan, Australia, India are not stupid. After that the price go mostly down for months.

Each year bitcoin seems to keep on showing us a very nice progress. And each year is always considered as a year for bitcoin. I didn't know that there are a lot of ATM's around the world already. And I guess the next thing we will expect is that many businesses are going to adopt and start using bitcoin.
Can't agree at all, each year bitcoin is more widely used in darknet and for illegal activities, more mixers are opening (don't say that people use it for legal fund). This year was good with it's price rise, bitcoin is better with current price. But a little bit sad fact is that china bans bitcoin exchangers, it's sad because it happened very quickly, on another hand I am neutral here. I think next year we will see more bitcoin ATM's. I don't really think bitcoin is that widely being used for illegal purposes. We can check the dollar and Euro currencies, I bet they're used in illegal activities 1000x more than bitcoin. |

Thanks I mean it's like "hey look tenx went up 200% and lunyr went up 500% and NEO went up 300% too in the last week" and hell i would have liked to know that would happen . So, were there any ways to predict lunyr/neo/monaco/tokencard growth ? The price after the issue of cards will be from 35 to 80 $. Price is likely to spike when cards are completed but I'm not sure they will quite go to those levels of 35-80. I believe there is news about MCO card being completed soon? Monaco Card is more excellent than token card. This is about marketing. Token Card was very slight project if you ask me. I would use Monaco Card instead of Token Card. |

Miners is a really strong and good coin, which I personally expect to grow strongly in the future. However, we can always see many fluctuations among all the cryptocurrencies and there are no exceptions... Unfortunately. So I think you should go on mining, bust start diversification: half of money convert to fiat money and the rest you should keep for the future

you should get bitcoin price from the same place you are trying to trade in! if it is Bitmex then use Bitmex not some place else. the Bitmex price will be accurate for you. they are calling it XBT instead of BTC but it is the same thing. you can use their website or their API to fetch the price live from their exchange. The platform where you perform your trading is the only important one actually. For the other prices, you can check with coinmarketcap web site and see the other prices easily. |

So this thread is near to be 1 year old already and again holiday season is coming and Christmas is the most awaited season every year. People get more money during holidays so for sure it will make the price of bitcoin pump again and I've seen a couple of times and last year is a good one because the pump started at the very end of year. And hoping that this year it will be also the same and will be pumping quicker.
After the recent downtrend of bitcoin price and it seems not finished yet, maybe around Christmas time this year then we will see again the spike of bitcoin price and many people will join in again for the ride which would make the price shoot up. Many people have extra money during Christmas and end of the year because of bonuses and the likes that's why some use it to buy bitcoin thus an increase in demand. I hope that what happen from previous years during Christmas time would still be the same this year. Many are positive about it and as long as there will be no bad news that can affect the price then it would be a nice feeling to end the year with a bang. I'm waiting for that yearly now because there is a big spike that's been happening every Christmas season. And for sure many of the buy backers are also waiting for the right time to see first the price of bitcoin at a very low rate before getting in again. Those past incidents during Christmas are the most awaited month of each year because the price are very reasonable with it's increase and it's suddenly happening. I'm not in the mood actually. Because I fear from Chinese regulation and it could make very huge effects on bitcoin's fortune. I was gonna buy some coins, but I cancelled my idea. |

millennial's are the biggest investors and supporters obviously, but bitcoin has to reach a level of financial prosperity to somewhat the fullest eventually...will it make our kids rich? Grandkids? Great Grand Kids? Aliens or Martians to that far extent?
This can't happen in one day. We still to much way to take. The adoption should be increased and this will surely bring a positive effect on bitcoin. Probably around 5-10 years. |

I will choose litecoin and ETH. ETH is for me the best one, because it is supported by many people even blockchain has added support for ETH so you can buy btc and eth on the same online wallet.
Litecoin is also a good one for it is now sleeping and it can one day rise very high if we are lucky. I have already invested in LTC and not ETH, because i have not that much money.
I choose LTC and ETH too but with ETH I use it to invest to some ICO. just hold ETH doesn't gain much profit I might be more amenable to etherum for a long-term investment. because etherum is still in great demand because first many ico users will certainly utilize etherum to receive their tokens and it will make etherum continue to survive and grow. unlike litecoin. I think litecoin is past its time? better looking for other potential altcoin ETH is a "maybe" one for long term investment. If we really talk about long term, we can say waves instead of ethereum because waves' price is low now compared to ether in usd. |

I am just trying to convert all my earnings into crypto now. I exchange them to fiat or spend them when I need it. Otherwise, everything will be in crypto, mostly bitcoin and only sometimes it will be in my favorite altcoins. At least 35-40% of my earnings goes to savings.
This is very dangerous, even you like crypto that much, you need to save some fiat currency so that you don't cry if a major market crash happens ever. |

Not yet but we should be back to normal within a few weeks. The uncertainty among the investors are high and hence bitcoin price is moving up slowly. It is standing at 3700 USD level now. Once the negativity is gone from the mind of the investors, the price will be back on track. However, I don't see that happening within a week or so. Wait for another 3 weeks at least to see the price back to normal if we don't face any other organized attack from the scammer Jamie. We're probably heading up to $5.000 and we will see another all time high price on the market. This should be on october 2017. Then we'll look forward for chinese thing once again. |

A very straight answer to this question is no. In every economy there are a few key players who are the big guns and a lot of people who are just too poor to participate in the economy. Even if we think that whole world economy would shift to bitcoin its very difficult to say that everyone would get equitable amount of bitcoin. So the problem remains same. Poverty stricken people still wont have money in form of bitcoin. But yes bitcoin would surely make a few millionares or even billionares who knows?
Yes I agree to you 100 percent. There is no way that bitcoin can end world poverty, because many good currencies like dollar prevails in the world for a long time, will it overcome on poverty? No. the same is here with bitcoin/ there is no sense that bitcoin will handle the poverty of the world because it holds by individuals and they will never spend their bitcoin for other people of the world below poverty line. We shouldn't expect bitcoin or other coins to end world poverty, this is impossible and not for bitcoin's business. The world povert has been occuring since the start of the life. You can have as many myetherwallets addresses as you wish. The problem is how you can keep track of the addressess and private keys. And ensure they are kept in good security.

Hotwallet: Minimum amount of ETH/Tokens that you need to use regularly.
Cold storage: Long term investment. Private keys should never be exposed with a computer with internet security.

I can't find any info about closing binance, plus they have tons of international clients which makes it difficult for China to completely close them. Maybe they'll just won't allow chinese people to use it Chinese government start investigation about Binance exchange and ICO. True, but Binance is international. China can't ban it, it can only prohibit its citizens from using it. I don't think Binance is international, they're completely Chinese, aren't they? Thus, a mojar ban will hurt it very much including its investors and traders. It can turn into a dead lock. |
