I have already seen a lot of topics related to the fake google ads on this forum month ago but after disabling adblock i still see those ads. Anyone knows if google gave any official respond regarding this issue? Are these sites actually malicious/fraudulent in some way or is it that they are confusingly similar to the "Real" deal? I am pretty sure Google will take their add revenue, either way, the big difference is usually in the commercial space a trademark holder or a brand would defend their "Mark" whereas this is more in the realm of open source.

the first on is obviously malicious. if you look closely you can see that it is missing an "l" in the "wallet". you just have to report these to Google so that they can remove them faster. and always try to double check the websites like this with some trusted sources. for example if it is already listed on ethereum website or something like that. you can also check their SSL certificate inside your browser. most malicious sites usually are http instead of https and even if they have https they don't have a certificate.

While Google has a strict AdWords policy and they usually review all businesses/websites, some inevitably manage to slip through. You can report scam websites like these here: https://safebrowsing.google.com/safebrowsing/report_phish/They will not only get removed from ads, they will also be blocked on Chrome as well.

The scam websites appear fast every time one is taken down. We just have to report the phishing websites whenever we see one otherwise I don’t think Google will take it down.

I have already seen a lot of topics related to the fake google ads on this forum month ago but after disabling adblock i still see those ads. Anyone knows if google gave any official respond regarding this issue? I suggest you to take this snapshot and mail to the google support center regarding this and i am sure that they will respond you and solve your queries. Next thing is you can give a negative feedback or report them spam to google, for doing this you should click on the close button or " X " button which you can see on top right hand corner of the ads and after you click there you will be getting some options asking why you didnt like that ads, and there you can click on SPAM option and submit your feedback on that ad and then they will take some action on them. And you can also check the website information and their trustworthy rating from scamadvisor.com whether are they a good & legit bitcoin service provider or not. hope this helps.

all google is interested in is money, as long as they are getting paid, they will run them. Unless they are flooded with complaints.

This will never end and last because some people ever pay attention for this scammers. And those scammers never get enough from vulnerable people.

Anyone knows if google gave any official respond regarding this issue? I really don't understand why sites like this still exist despite the lots of complain over them and I feel the admin of the real ether wallet are not doing enough to keep innocent users safe because there is no way someone coming in new will know which one is the right one or the wrong one only when he has been scammed of his resources and for those of us who know the difference, we don't just go over the internet looking for phishing or malicious website. This then leaves the responsibility on the admin of the real site.

Anyone knows if google gave any official respond regarding this issue? Google will continue to publish such ads as business matters for them. People should report such websites on a massive scale, so that google may take a action on these sites.

Anyone knows if google gave any official respond regarding this issue? Even though Google is meant for business and this ads brings money to them, there is need to be some form of ethics for Google and they should know the real one from the clone ones out there to rob people about their resources but unfortunately there is nothing to do about it except an individual should be more careful about sites he visits. Anyone could have fallen for that scam sites because its the first one that came out and even until a more look at the spelling before seeing that its really different.

Google does take down ads like that pretty fast, they will even block the account if they found it was in breach of their TOS but Google play market apps can be there for ages, there are many fake wallets, fake site apps, like bitlser's for example Apple does take it seriously and checks every single entry, whilst Google is not that strict in this regard but if a certain amount of people complain-they react

The site itself will probably be taken down pretty quickly if you report it. However, that doesn't mean that the problem is solved by any means. Google keeps accepting those sites to advertise and then taking them down, but there are new ones taking the older ones' places pretty quickly.
When Bitmixer was still around, there were sites like that around for a really long time.
Unless you can tell Google quite a lot of details about these sites and they actually pay attention to preventing new sites from advertising, there's not much you can do.

I don't think that assessment is completely fair. No company can thoroughly review each and every application they get. Some will inevitably fall into the cracks. If they keep on publishing phishing sites, people would be averse to clicking on their ads. Report it and it should be gone pretty soon. The problem is that more will inevitably pop up, and some of those, again, will fall into the cracks. Still, anytime you're dealing with anything online, especially money, it won't hurt to double check or triple check the web address you're on. Phishing is especially prevalent when it comes to Bitcoin sites, so everyone should be extra vigilant.

I have already seen a lot of topics related to the fake google ads on this forum month ago but after disabling adblock i still see those ads. Anyone knows if google gave any official respond regarding this issue? Okay now that's clearly malicious site and we can tell that from the way they have tried to show up the website. I wouldn't even try to type that address manually in my browser because it might just harm my computer or in worst case it may start looking for the private keys within the browser cookies. Anything can happen and we better stay away from it in the first step of precaution. Sometimes clicking these sites can also start the invasion process of Trojan. I'm wondering how the google made it avaible being precautionary about the ads they display. It might be just fitting properly in the ads criteria and showing up with the original website.

It's a phising site, basically they make the website similiar to the real one, and when you enter your private key to the wrong site, they can steal your token inside your ethereum address. I don't know why google doesn't block that kind of ads yet.

Anyone knows if google gave any official respond regarding this issue? The official announcement from google is not available, they allow placing ads for profit so there will be no warning. Protect yourself from such websites, be careful before entering any website.

Without reporting how can google will know about this fake websites. Once many people are sending emails to google means then they start analyzing then they will start blocking those adds.
