Investing on new altcoins especially those acquired or earned in a Bounty Campaign is like gambling, you will win when it goes with Bitcoin's price. But if it doesn't move to the top and affected of a dump then you will loose lots of money. I guess we need to select altcoins that are good and have a trending tendencies.
most of that will happen in the long run for really good projects. take a look at projects that are now successful from the start that have a bounty campaign. like the DENT project that used to be very cheap and took more than a year to build their market so that the price could increase. |

It is hard to look for more information about X10 tokens.
Just follow the rule of thumb to be safe. If you do not know enough about a certain token, better hold your decision to buy and try to learn more about it. If you think what you know about X10 token is not enough for you to be sure that it is a good token to invest, better stay away from it.
when there are not many references and exchanges that have a list of coins it is better to avoid it. or indeed the coin is only in one exchange or the property of the exchange is better be careful with manipulation of existing charts. it's very risky. |

fake volumes in exchanges are usually in small exchanges. or some exchanges that use bots to trade them. although large exchanges also use bots to attract trade and maintain volume. but shitcoin is detrimental to those of us who are trapped in purchases or trades that won't benefit us. |

I don't know how this hacks and scams can be avoided with the decentralized exchanges. With Binance the hack took place, and the funds that got away from the users end were settled by Binance itself. Will the same is possible with decentralized exchanges, if some hack has taken place and funds were stolen. At such situation whom should the users claim.
I think dex doesn't have a coldwallet like a centralized market, their system only acts as a medium of direct trade between traders who are fully responsible for their private keys, the worst case is a phishing attack that cannot be prevented by developers, the case at dex has never been as big as cex. the two are indeed different. but I do prefer a centralized exchange rather than DEX or CEX. maybe the binance DEX that caught my attention to trade there. |

I sold all altcoins in the last few months, and currently I'm just focusing on investing in Bitcoin and it helped me to make a lot of profits in January 2020. Whoever did this has intention to pump btc when they acculamate their target holding. There is only way to protect yourself from hackers as that is not to trust anyone but keep investing and holding but never panic as hackers are so clever. We should protect our money for not investing it in unknown projects as mostly are introduced by hacker as they will be able get our money by hacking account better use safe wallet and not to share the private key with anyone.
all storage facilities we use also have the risk of being hacked. but I try not to save investment assets in exchange but my wallet. I only keep assets for trading in exchange. it is also not for a long time, when I get a profit then I will withdraw money from the exchange. as much as possible not to make mistakes on yourself in storing assets in a personal wallet. |

Never keep your eggs in one basket is a good idea to reduce risk. Many project start by promising that their coin will be listed somewhere with a high price then collapse. So far now that the ICO is almost died so almost scammers died too for taking chances in raising money through ICO, but let's remember that IEO is there, and we know how much scammers will do everything for them to scam too, so let's still be vigilant in every project we are aiming to invest. not all scammers also leave the crypto market. they created a new mode to be able to benefit from committing fraud against investors. ICOs may die but there will be a new way for scammers to continue to be in the crypto market and continue to earn money. we are not completely spared them. |

i would say that binance is one of the best exchange though there is an incident about hacking, they manage to save their customers assets.. their founder is doing his best to make his project successful, as we can see the status of binance it is the top exchange for crypto
They didn't save customer assets, they paid for it through their own emergency funds. But that was a small hack to be honest. What happens when or if one day a huge hack or some malfunction occurs where the losses exceed what they have in emergency funding? You think they'll save customer assets? Never trust a centralized company, that's all. that is the problem and must be considered for all crypto traders in the market. not many people pay attention if they can when I lose their money if the exchange where the money is stored is hacked or system failure. for now binary exchange is indeed still the best with high trading. but it never hurts us to remain vigilant with all the bad possibilities that can happen. |

New altcoins can't be left out because they are here to fix what the old coins can't get fixed, only bad projects will be drag down by bear market or other common issues affecting new coins nowadays, if a coin is very useful it will surely caught the eye of big investors
It all depends on the conditions of the project itself. as you said if the project is good and has the proper function to survive in the market then they will get support from investors. but when it is only a junk project even though it is listed on the exchange it will not guarantee that they will be able to survive in the market. without being thrown away they will die themselves. |

I think 2017 killed the Ico hype because of many people entering the crypto world and with that a lot of scams trying to profit of those people with Ico's.
It used to be the way to launch a project and it worked really good till many scammers came, I was lucky to find some good Ico's back in the day Like Lisk and Waves but that time is over.
Now a days you have the IEO's but im a bit sceptical about them does anyone have some examples of IEO's that worked out well?
I think the Exhanges have a great responsibility to really protect their customers maybe that is a good thing.
But I can also see some negative consequences, lets say Binance lets his customers invest in a Scam, that would be really bad for Binance and for their customers.
The comparison of IEO and ICO will lead to choosing the IEO, there was no such luxury by the investors. The investors have the first priorities as the security and their eligibility criteria are not the same. The smart investors prefer to spend money and time with the reliable projects in IEOs. Binance IEOs can't be a scam, maybe there are other cases that we have not heard about it, in my opinion. of course, investors will be more comfortable using IEO and will recommend projects to use IEO rather than ICO. especially a good project to be listed on a good exchange as well as to sell IEO. Investors will prefer it from ICO, which may not be the attention of investors now. |

it looks like the alt season has started since last week. we can see that since yesterday the market, especially all altcoins, has increased an average of over 5% per day. maybe because of the issue of hardfork etc or the issue of BSV that suddenly went crazy on the pump, I don't know for sure. which is clear because of that, all altcoins also get positive effects and to this day it still looks good.
the market is indeed showing good moves now. some altcoins are seen moving with favorable graphs. but the movement is still too fast. we will see the market is really strong first before the altcoin season with pumps starts. |

No one knows what will happen to altcoins this year, maybe some of them will leave crypto world. The only hope of altcoins is a bull run, a bull run that will give new hope to those hopeless and profit to those hodlers. If bitcoin touches 20k again no need to worry cause altcoin season will start immediately. The market is improving a lot as of today and the entire alt coin market is rising along with bitcoin and it is a good time for all the alt coin investors but that does not mean that the bull run started, it will take a much longer time than this to see a real bull run in the market, we are months away from bitcoin halving and only after that we will see a huge rally. I guess not too much. but for chart trading now it is very profitable. almost all altcoins are experiencing an increase even though they usually go back down too. I hope the current market can be stronger and we will see how the market moves up higher. the last few weeks have been profitable days for day traders. because the graphics are very fast and I guess we can start trying it. |

Withdraw all your ethreum and put on two altcoins that will surely give you big profit, invest it in eos and binance coin. These two are my favorite coins so far.

Its true that it isn't live yet afaik. there weren't yet any dapps with it. But there is a community supporting it which is why the price still is 3cents. Nothing really yet is has been proven but investors like its proposal. Ouroboros is promising. I didn't sold mine during its ATH since I wanna see how all these will work out once this will be up and running. 3 cents is the best deal you could ever get with a project that ranked this high.
some people might have left but those who survived certainly had high optimism to see an update that moved the price. I hope the price will get better when the update is run and those who survive like you will celebrate the party. |

Generally, Trading is for short term, not long term. it means that you dont have to care with project itself all you need to care is volality. as long as the coin gives good volality, then you can stuck with it so, all coin is possible to trade with. just looking coin with advantage to your own sake You are right, the most important thing in trading is how high the demand is. when trading in a high market there will be a profit if we trade coins with a high trade. always pay attention to trade charts. |
