I wasnt paid for doing videos/streams. I did those because I believed in the project, and the people I worked with. When that stopped being the case, do did my videos.
None of us know the future, and when I was with them, I operated under the assumption that things would be great.

Yeah - I would need to agree with that. Read up daily, and you should be fine. That said, "daily" is the keyword.

In terms of CMC listing, huge news. Great work. I know a lot of coins that have been out a lot longer that are still not listed on CMC.

I am optimistic that it will be a listing on CoinMarketCap, or maybe a Cryptopia. Who knows though, might be actual development - new wallet? Maybe it is the whitepaper, or roadmap?

These are ALL important things, and should be in place before the team even considers Tier 1 exchanges.

No offense intended, but I'd hardly call what I expressed talking crap. That is, of course, if you consider pointing out dishonesty as "crap". That said, I'll assume your comment was directed elsewhere.

I was the biggest advocate of Onions, and put my heart and soul into the project, but there comes a point when you have to look at things, and point out ways for them to improve. In fact, one would assume that as a community manager you would WANT THIS. Though, by doing so, you're shit on. So, what happens? You loose those people. Good people, in a lot of cases. Just look at how they've decimated their community.

At the end of the day, I don't care what they do. It is their boat to float, and I spoke with my actions.

Oh, and the comment about PRiVCY - meh, I had nothing else to put in my sig, might as well monetize it, no? Just ask yourself, why you're seeing people jump to PRiVCY - in my case, I was out of DO for months before a DO guy asked me if I was involved with it.

I'll reiterate my previous comment - Focus on your community vs bashing others and making people feel like crap for posting advice, and focus on your privacy features - those 2 things are the only saving grace for DeepOnion.

For the record, I actually got into an argument weeks prior. It started around week 35, I think. When it started to become clear to me that their (core members) intent was not to follow through and get listed on a Tier 1 exchange, as had been previously promised to the community. The reason, the core members didn't wish to divulge their identities. I felt this was grossly dishonest, and not inline with my morals. Especially given how open I was with the community about who I was. Week 39 I was skipped for the Airdrop, and at that point, I had already promised to do the Q&A, which incidentally was done AFTER the AirDrops.

In hindsight, it was poor timing, but something I felt I needed to do for myself. Which sucks, because I really did enjoy what I did over there, but the message I was being asked to tell you guys, was not the reality of the situation. I am not a liar, and thus I excused myself and tried to do it with the least impact I could. I was just a mod/community guy, why should my opinion matter? I didn't want to hurt anyone's investment.

I'm not saying onions are not good, not at all. I still hold a bunch. I'm saying the people running it need a reality check.

Incidentally, if there are any doubts about the validity of the information listed here, let me know - I had the wherewithal to grab screen caps of all convos, as I seen the way they trashed previous people upon their exit.

The issue I see is that it doesn't take over a year to figure out you can't implement DeepSend. So, assuming they were being honest with their community, and diligently working on DeepSend as they claimed, and in fact showed an image of 1 month+ back....what gives? I mean, that screencap was the same one shown to me 2 months prior. One would assume it was released by them to ensure you all believed DeepSend was being worked on, and coming out Just Around The Corner! Combine this with repeated delays, and claims that "DeepVault is more important" and you can see why I highly doubted it was ever being worked on.

Nobody really cares about DeepVault - when I was a mod there we were all FORCED to use it 5 times per week, and I would bet 1 BTC that those are the ONLY transactions attached to it. Besides, what does DeepVault have to do with Privacy? Not much IMHO.

DeepOnion needs to focus on the important things - their dwindling community, and privacy.

Guys, I'm not here to spread FUD - I still hold a decent sized bag of Onions - I'm just tired of watching this slow motion train wreck in action. The simple fact alone that I'm posting it here, and cannot post it in their "main Ann" should give some of you an indication of the level of ignorance going on over there. It is a "You blindly believe/accept what we say or do" or you're a Fudder and should be banned/censored.

Such a shame seeing the way they are handling things. I warned people when (for dishonesty reasons) I left DeepOnion that DeepSend wasn't being worked on.

I'm so glad I pulled out of getting a few of these. The plan was for 2, and that was during the bullrun.
I hope for those of you guys that did pull the trigger on the Pre-Order, it works out.

I would really love to see this come through. I jumped into ESCO literally at its ATH and have ridden it down to where it is today. 1 BTC bath for me. That said, they continue to work on the project and I continue to stake. Really hoping to see some upward movement after months of going pretty much sideways.

Are new exchanges in the works?

I too am looking forward to seeing some Dev plans that will separate Privcy from DO. That being said, I am not a fan of RoadMaps full of empty promises. We're not half way done the AD yet, lets give the team a bit of time to deliver their announcements.

I have a lot of coins that I stake, but have not tried stakeunited yet. Initially I was a bit uneasy when I first heard about it, but I think I'll give it a shot for some of the coins that my balance doesn't give enough rewards for.

I think these competitions are a fantastic idea. I participated in the first one, and will most likely get involved with this one as well.

There will always be people casting shade, and this guy is a prime example. ALL coins are a copy in one way or another, this is just the nature of the beast. What the devs do to it will dictate whether or not they are legit. Until then, anyone casting shade is spewing hot air, nothing more.

While I sometimes feel the same, one thing we must always remember is that in a situation like this - the community is the most important aspect of this coin. I've seen firsthand that a solid community can sometimes make up for a lot of shortcomings in a project (not implying that's the case with privcy).

In the end, with a robust and fanatical community the core people have the power to easily push this project even higher, with more ease.
