The price of the onion seems to be going on fast on Nova exachange Perfectly proper thread.I was converting SIA to poloniex, then to dodge, then to Novaexchange, then from dodge --> Onion. With a self moderated thread and yet we have more than 500 pages  if you could only earn this token by being deep inside the project by wearing the signature and the ones promoting the token are the same people earning it then who would want to pay for this coin? do you understand what I'm saying? if people need the coin they'll simply earn it by participating here, now who is buying this? so confusing. The airdrop will end one day, and many of us that believe in the coin aren't satisfied by just collecting the freebies - we want more. So, we buy. Pretty simple. |

We have many messages before the airdrop that updating signature to the latest is mandatory, this is clearly posted on OP and in multiple messages by dev, still there are people did not update the signature. They are banned based on our rules. If they want to appeal, we will investigate case-by-case, and may restore their airdrop rights if they showed enough interests to the coin in the past, but the current airdrop they will not be paid.

I think this is very fair. All the participants who have not changed their signature, clearly are not interested in the coin and the ongoing development. If they were engaged in the coin/development, they would have seen that new sigs were required. Of course the purpose of airdrop is to distribute coins to a large amount of people, but it's just as important that the early adopters (all airdrop participants) of the coin have a genuine interest in the coin/devel. For those who are banned because of using old signatures, if you do appeal, we'll check your case. You will be returning to active state only if (1) you switch to the new signature (2) from your past posts that we can see you have certain interests in DeepOnion and its community.
Someone who changed the signature, but we see he did not post a single message in this forum or in any DeepOnion related subjects (except the last complaint). For those people, sorry you will be remained banned.
For those who had enough interests in DeepOnion before, we'll selectively unban on case-by-case basis. However, you won't get coins from the airdrop that just finished.
Several people appealed because they used old signature. I want to reiterate our guidance whether your account can be restored or not. Please refer to the above post. If you never posted here, or just posted here with very simple sentence before, then please no need to appeal. Suddenly posting a lot things in this thread after being banned does not help. We look at your history of posting and assess whether you have enough interests here. We don't care those who did not care about this community. We want our community to benefit from this coin, and together we can grow the coin and community and make it one of the best. So please, assess before your appeal. You save your own time and ours. Thank you. Its insane, you can say the same thing over, and over and over again yet the same question keeps on popping up. I keep coming back to the fact that if people gave a hoot about the coin, they would have known about the signature change. Does seem kind of harsh to ban people outright for messing up on the signiature thing.
Although it does go to show that this airdrop is not just easy money.
You gotta take care and really keep on top of developments.
I'd just be a bit wary that those that have been blacklisted are gonna go to town on DeepOnion on the FUD front.
With all that being said though. Happy to have now got 5/5 airdrops. Let's keep this train rolling!

If they aren't being active, they aren't being reinstated. Seems the most fair to me. If they missed info about the change, and aren't even in any of the groups/discussions, then frankly they don't deserve it. If you get blacklisted, what exactly is the way to get off from the list? Just acting normal and post 100 post in bitcointalk with CORRECT signature? Or something else? Submit an appeal to Crypto Rainbow, at which point past activity will be reviewed. The group isn't out to penalize people, that would be silly. The goal is to ensure that all of the efforts are going towards building a solid community. That being said, people that posted in here, helped, joined the social media outlets......basically anything more than "I joined the drop, didn't follow CLEAR instructions, but F it, gimme gimme gimme" |

Hey, don't worry, I have the same problem with the airdrop that I didn't receive. I reached the deeponion team and they will take care of this probably. We just need to wait a bit. They should give it to us. You do realize that you're not even using the Deep Onion Signature, right? |

Edit your signature, then replace the xxxx's with your userid. You did not follow the instructions - your UserID is missing from your signature. How do i put my Userid in the signature never done that before ? |

So i just received my first Onions today and now i have a question about mature coins and staking.
Does the Wallet need to run for 24hrs straight to become mature coins or can i run it like 12hrs today and 12hrs tomorrow too?
I think your coins just need to be in your wallet for 24 hrs and they will become mature , you don't have to keep your wallet online for your coins to be mature , but in order to stake them I think you should keep it online. They will become mature within 24hrs - wallet open, or not. To stake, however, the wallet must be open, and unlocked. |

I just checked, it said that I only had 9 posts with 50 or more characters. I'm pretty sure I had more, I double checked, tripled checked. I just counted 12, with the last one being a couple of hours before the end of the week's airdrop. What can I do to fix this? Have anyone else had similar problems in the past and gotten them fixed? That was my first week. Nope...I post about that within a few hours most days... Not sure what you meant. I meant that I make about 10 posts within an hour most days. God only knows how many I do within a full week. The cut off hour? Is it exactly when the clock hit August 18, or is it before the web crawlers start checking the status? |

It's a shame to see so many people miss out because of an old signature but it was posted. I also posted yesterday a link to the new sig page and reminded everyone upgrades were mandatory and also saw others doing the same. Bottom line is the airdrop is a reward for those in this community. If you can't take the time to check in and read up on the latest news, whether here, the official forum, twitter, etc... then you have to ask yourself, are you really a part of this community or just here for the free coins? If the answer is the latter than don't whine about not getting the airdrop. There's no smoke & mirrors here, everything is plain & clear. Stay up to date & involved & you'll be rewarded for your time. Nailed it on the head - well said. Its about building a community, not a donation for shits n giggles. |
