You can also always accept payments from a payment provider which also accepts bitcoin, amongst other currencies.

I don't want a middle man but it would be cool to have savings acount. I don't know with my bitcoin anyway.
You can't have a savings account without giving away your private key(s) (and thus allowing the bank to use your bitcoins). You do not want to do that, trust me. Or rather, trust no-one.

|
|
That would defeat the whole purpose of bitcoin: no middle man. Why would you want a middle man?

When name is changed, you can still track because history won't change. True. That's a problem. Better create a new account and rebuild than sorry.

You could start reading Dadda's paper. "The design of a high speed ASIC unit for the hash function SHA-256 (384, 512)"
Great info! Thanks for sharing. EDIT: Hmm. Probably no place to get this without paywall, right?

Very cool what you guys are trying to do.
However, isn't this the wrong way around? Maybe use the brainwallet method: creating a key BASED on a certain seed (that's easy to remember)?

Are these enabled to be used internationally ? Or will they work only in Netherlands ?
This sim-card can be used worldwide! Using this sim-card to call from another country than the Netherlands is more expensive. ( use within the Netherlands recommended for cheap calls ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) ) Lebara is very cheap worldwide as well, though. You can check the whole list on their site.

Try the scam accusations board, pal! ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif)

Remember to always check the coins under the name, theymos has 5 coins with the last one half red and the rank of Administrator. This newbie has only 1 coin under his name. Stay alert, and you'll be fine. Banned. Clearly impersonating the admin, even if he wouldn't have sent the PM.
That's good. ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) Exactly. There should be some kind of checklist to go through when sending money. Hmm. Now that I think about it, it's best if said checklist is in your head, though.

Post the txid of you sending Bitcoin to the person. Chances are that pretty good that the address will somehow be linked to the user here.
If the scammer had one iota of intellect, he would've created a new bitcoin address for the transaction.

Sending tips to Satoshi's addresses is like throwing pennies in a wishing well.
Yeah... That's what OP said. ![Tongue](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/tongue.gif)

I've filled in your survey ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) I hope this info is interesting to you.

I think it's a bit disgusting that we're joking this much in a thread like this. Joking is fine, but please limit it a bit.
RIP.
Your right, this guy did a lot for us Aussie bitcoiners. He will be missed. I'm not Australian, but I respect people that are working with such passion to help bitcoin forward.

Still down this is really terrible. Did not expect this from havelock
Everybody has a price.
|
|
|
I don't think there is any genius on the forum who can predict what the price of bitcoin will be 20 years hence.
We don't need to predict the exact price. If we are confident that it will be above a certain level, we can think of saving coins for retirement. If somebody was able to predict the price, he would be very, very rich. ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) Indeed. And if that person wasn't very smart, the whole market would collapse..

definitely. i am by no means a web designer.
Maybe you can find someone on this forum to do it for you (or on /r/jobs4bitcoins). Do you use wordpress or some similar product?

I guess my issue is I am not getting in these blocks I sent a transaction around 4 hours ago and I am still waiting " Estimated Confirmation Time Within 6 Blocks (Medium Priority)"
The last 6 confirmations happened within 1.5 hours - https://blockchain.info/blocksDid you pay the correct Tx fee? It is the standard MultiBit HD wallet fee .00001 Should be fine. My MultiBit confirms flawlessly, every time. So standard transactions are being effected, that's what I am taking from this. I guess. You could just have had a load of bad luck. I've never really had problems with transaction time.

I really love the layout for this. It's great that it's not yet-another-dice-game.
I don't gamble, but props!

i mean... it looks like bitdice.. (functions) but it is not a script you can buy...
I don't have anything against you and your website looks nice, but I gotta say: try to write more professional. Your style of writing is giving me the "creepy shady dude in a corner trying to make you gamble"-vibes. Which may be true, but try to hide it a bit, man. Saying that English is not your native tongue is no excuse.
