You all are posting how great this project is. Has anyone of you even used or at least checked the project and its alpha???
If you had looked up https://alpha.stex.exchange you would have noticed this.

It doesn't matter whether there are whales in or not, what matters is the size of the liquidity pool and the volume 


If you move your initial tokens, you lose the extra bonus that applies for all tokens that were never moved during dividend payments. So it wouldn't make sense for early investors to sell their tokens as they'd get more the longer they hold (because others sell over time).

You yourself basically answered that question:


The value of the STE tokens are directly pegged to the "revenue" of the exchange. So, there you have it.

There are several options available. In general, cold storage is considered safe.

Some examples:

• Funds are locked on 2-of-3 multisig transaction (P2SH or directly).
• Key A belongs to user (A service may backup the encrypted key, but user loses key when forgets the password).
• Key B is stored on web server, unencrypted.
• Key C belongs to technical staff of a service.

Hot storage is a combination of key A and key B

Cold storage is a combination of key B and C

You are a bit schizophrenic, aren't you   ?
First you call the project "one of the most promising ico" and you hope that the team will finish the product soon, then you engage in conversation and after all of that - 3 days later - you ask what the exchange is? I really like the project and I try to answer serious questions if I can but this is just ridiculous.

You can't just give them away, can you? You would dilute the value and that would have a negative effect on everyone that contributed money. So allocating tokens for marketing purposes is no problem. This is also mentioned in the whitepaper but giving away the rest for free would be "suicide", at least in terms of credibility.


To what license are you referring? There is no license that I know of that can give you any kind of legitimacy for running an exchange. You can be in accordance with the respective law in a country, but running an exchange has nothing to do with any license

What do you consider as "high-quality content" and why do you require "it"? Maybe it's due to a language barrier but it sounds as if you just want some random "content" that is considered "high quality" in order to... use it (and maybe pass it as your own for bounty campaigns maybe?). What's your angle here? It might help if you're more specific. That way it surely wouldn't come across as it did.

Just have a look at the roadmap. You can imagine though that such a project will never have a "final" version? So it's not that important how you call a certain version but rather what functions it provides and how stable/reliable it is.

Google is not the best way to go here, imo, as Google is full of scam sites. If you just Google for wallets you risk your funds. Scam sites target people that are clueless and click on every link they find. So be cautious

As good as the STeX concept might be, it can't work magic.

If an asset has its own blockchain, maybe even a proprietary one, it's not that easy to simply "add" it to an exchange. STeX or any exchange for that needs to be sure that everything works properly and that there are no issues with said blockchain. You can't afford to add an asset that has faulty code or that has vulnerabilities.

On top of that, there needs to be a risk assessment of the asset itself whether it's even worthy of being added to the exchange. Is the project legit? Will there be enough volume? There are a lot of questions that need to be answered. You need to keep in mind that every added asset potentially dilutes the liquidity pool, even if STeX is (partly) compensated through possible listing fees.

So you see that there are good reasons not to simply add every ICO token/coin.

The idea is that you only need an account on STeX, every trade you perform there will go through the liquidity pool which in essence executes your trade for the best available rates utilizing every exchange needed that the STeX liquidity pool is connected to.


It's a good analogy but STeX is way more as you can do normal trades, use trading tools and other perks.

You use STeX in order to trade assets. You can deposit and withdraw them directly from the STeX platform. The trades you perform are done through the liquidity pool which in term is represented as assets on other exchanges and on STeX itself. Here is an example I already mentioned before.

Let's make a few assumptions:

• you want to trade DCR/BELA
• your main exchange is Bittrex
• on Bittrex DCR/BTC is traded but no BELA/BTC
• on Poloniex DCR/BTC and BELA/BTC are traded but you have no account

Now you've got several options if you want to sell your DCR and get BELA.
Right now, the 'easiest' way would be to create a Polo account and either trade your DCR to BTC on Bittrex and then transfer them to Polo and trade BTC/BELA or to transfer your DCR to Polo, trade them there for BTC and then again buy BELA with them.
This is a pretty long way to go but in the end, you'd have your DCR/BELA trade.

With STeX, it will be much easier and faster:
The STeX platform is connected to other exchanges and trades through its liquidity pool. What it means is that STeX knows the rates of DCR/BTC and BELA/BTC on Polo and the rate of BELA/BTC on Bittrex.
The chain would be as follows:


This is way more convenient and not nearly as time-consuming as doing those trade yourself + you don't need to wait for the transfer of your coins from one exchange to the other.
But there is more to it. Because STeX knows all rates of the connected exchanges, it also always knows where the best rates are. So, if the rate of DCR/BTC is more favorable on Bittrex than on Polo, STeX would trade DCR/BTC there instead of on Polo and if there is a better chain, the algorithm could use that instead, e.g.:


In this example, you'd also give DCR and get BELA but through the STeX liquidity pool, you made the most favorable trade possible compared to trading DCR/BTC and BTC/BELA directly on Poloniex.

There are so many possible solutions and ways to save fees, profit from different spreads, make arbitrage...

The liquidity pool ensures, that there always is capital for your trade and the STeX algorithm uses the pool to make the best trades/chains.


The STeX liquidity pool is much much more of course. Since it gets larger and larger, it can also have the most important (trading-)coins in store and can make the trade that much faster. It all depends on the management of the liquidity pool, of course.


If there would be a dedicated DCR/BELA market, you'd be absolutely right, the number of orders would be very few and the rates really bad since the order book would be nearly empty because few people would trade this pair. BUT there is no such market and the order books of DCR/BTC and BELA/BTC on other exchanges are much more likely to have more entries in them and so your rate is way better.

That way, you'll be able to trade the most exotic pairs you can imagine without the need for a dedicated trading market while still having the best rates possible + filled order books.

That's why bounty managers should be held accountable for their campaigns and should be forced to create moderated threads only. That would be a simple solution. E.g. nobody forces them to keep a thread open after the bounty has ended.


Every bot post that can be prevented is a win because those are the only posts that don't cost anything to create them. Whenever a human needs to make a post there is a cost involved, especially time. If there is no benefit in posting people will think twice about whether it is worth it, so the incentive to post spam needs to be removed. If people then still post they are either idiots or they didn't think. The latter can't be helped but the overall spam would still be reduced.

Do you mean ICO tokens after they got issued? If so, I'd guess that they will be handled like any other token/coin including a careful risk analysis.
If you mean if STeX will list ICO during their fundraising then I'd say no as STeX is an exchange and not an incubator.

Exactly that is the case. The referral program works also for the exchange and not only the ICO as you use your ETH address for the exchange. You can even keep the referral link from the first ICO (Q3/2017) and it still works 

Hi Ivan, is there a slightly more detailed explanation available what those "special conditions" are resp. how the discount will be structured? Lika a table or something so that we might get an idea how you weight thing, e.g. if the "time of token held" has a bigger impact on the discount than other things.

Have a look at iasenkos thread and especially his calculator. It's well written and explains the system plus gives you an easy tool so that you can calculate the earliest time when you could rank up (depending on your forum activity and "value"):

I beg to differ. A good exchange (good in terms of functionality, UX and conditions) doesn't need an airdrop. It needs traders and thus it's vital that the trading performance gets listed on sites like coinmarketcap or worldcoinindex. Airdroping the A2A token wouldn't serve this purpose as it wouldn't get traders on the platform. However, you could give potential traders in incentive for registering and reaching a certain trading volume on the exchange, rewarding them with some tokens. Especially in the beginning.

There was no pre-sale or private sale of A2A tokens afaik.

Why would you do that resp. why are you pointing it out? While this might be done with good intentions in mind you are aware that pointing it out that much makes it also highly suspicious? Combined with no real info it comes across as bait, just saying.
