Crypto mining is a hobby. If you aren't into it then you should quit. Coming around and being negative only makes you look bad.
To some it is. To some who invested cash purposefuly into mining endeavour it is not.

Now a days profit and price really down :/ , was doing nist5+x17 ,but now their profit is gone down the drain gonna switch to phi and see how that effects if its not that good gonna go back to auto switch on ahashpool. Anyways guys what do u guys use to control ur rigs , currently was using team viewer but its sometimes just doesnt work . Also are u guys keeping ur coins in alts or btc right now ?? Cause btc + many alts seem down atm , bitcoin going below 10 k wasnt expecting that
Now it is hard time came. The profits will be very low till the end of spring I guess, so I guess we need to lower PL on the cards and keep mining every profitable coins we can find. As per the graphs for previous years should be better spring/summer My thoughts exactly Would be good to do some research with the new coins, see what looks promising and just stock up for the summer.

The power consumed by the internet giants’ massive server farms and the mining of the cryptocurrency are growing into a giant environmental headache.
COCK AND BULL!!! Where are your sources? Links? Statistics? GTFO!

I am surprised people went back to mining with them already before they even announcing a payback plan.
As long as there are sheep, there will be wool...

I think that once lost, trust is a VERY hard thing to get back. Nicetrash will not see me ever again.

I have been mining ZEN for the last 2 months with my 6x1080ti asus strix (asrock btc h81, 2xEvga 1000w g3), and 10 days ago it started crashing all the time, even the whole machine started restarting. I checked cables and changed all risers and still the sam. Then I took one card I suspected might be the cause of problems and put it on my desktop machine so I could check it solo. It worked perfectly for 3 days and the rest of the rig with 5 cards worked perfectly so I thought it might be that one of the PSU is having problems with supplying 3 cards. I cleaned all the components with air compressor and put the 6th card back and now everything is working perfectly for the last 5 days... So...we should regularly clean our 1080ti's :-)
Do not let your cards to heat up too much.

^^ I believe it`s a typo. Even with pci riser extenders i am not quite sure there is a mobo that can support 20 gpu`s.

Here where i live, there are NO cards usable for mining at all. Everything from 1050 ti and above is just sold out.

Hello, I'm sorry for my english. I am a beginner. I just built a rig of 3x1070ti, I intend to add gpu with my profits. I spent the last three days reading everything I could to choose the right mining software. people are saying to stay away from nicehash (it seems to be doing well and being easy to use). but I like computers and challenges, so I prefer to get my hands dirty and get better results. I hear a lot of nemosminer good but I can not find any good guide for beginners, step by step, to adjust the beast, if you have a good links to give me it would be appreciated. or give me help with settings, any help would be welcome, you can join me in pv. In french MERCI! C'est trop difficile en francais. :p Just read through the Nemos pages. where find that? First page of "le topique"

Even speaking about it is a good enough sign. Clever miners are already making arrangements elsewhere.

This is becoming stupid anyway you look at or into, something will happen this year, nvidia or amd could kill gpu mining if they want, asics manufactures can kill gpu mining anytime. People could kill gpu mining with stupidity, there are many ways gpu mining can be killed this year. Trust me I'm worried and you should do.
Why should we be worried, just because you are? And from what i can see, your strongest proof is "SOMETHING WILL HAPPEN THIS YEAR"??

Basically, you are asking someone who spent serious time looking and researching to deliver it to you on a platter? Not happening MATE! Do your own research, it will take some time, check the announcement section on this forum, etc. In the meantime to keep your cards making profit, start with nemosminer. Thread exists in this section of forum.

How can a miner get mining in 2018? Prices are just to high
It would take 10 months just to make your money back. And then you start to see profit
My 1 1070 can only pull in maybe $5 a day it would take me 7-8 months before I paid it back and made money...
Smart investment? How are people paying these prices?
Well, when i`ve entered into the "business" roi for my 1080 ti`s was 12 months +...

When CCminer says a line in blue like "skunk block 111222, diff 1877.231"
What does that mean? Is that an error?
Omg! If you get that message, your rig could explode any minute! I suggest that you stop mining immidiately! Sell all your gpu`s to me!

For those of you mining LUX using ccminer - what intensity are you using? I left mine on default and it set to 20. 100% +90/+300 gives me about 37MH/s.
I'm using 21. 75% tdp, +50 core, 32-33 mh/s Im also on 20. Didn`t notice any significant increase in hashrate so i`ve left it on 20. More stable. I`m getting 180 mh/s on one 6 x 1080ti rig. tdp 65%, cpu + 120, mem 0 (evga sc)

"tribus" = " --cpu-priority=3 -d $SelGPUCC" #Tribus
This is working like a charm! Thanks!
What is it for? Actually benchmarking for 4*1070 ti. Very nice job nemos your miner is great Sometimes this solves "does not validate on cpu", or lowering intensity helps. However, i get the same message on i5 too sometimes, so duh...
