My extra 1080 is another gaming rig I use for mining ( when I am not gaming ) I switched to sniffdog because he also added CPU mining as well. So in addition to my graphics cards my 6700k CPU is also helping with the mining. He regularly keeps up with releases and he fixed the duration for how long a particular algorithm runs ( unlike nemos which still shows garbage ) Plus I get paid more with Sniffdog for some reason. Try it out for a day or 2, his latest version is 3.0 later |

I just got this L3+ and what can I say? My 8 card 1070 rig blows this thing away, and costs about the same and consumes about the same amount of energy. I am UNDER 800 watts. The Lyrza2 algorithm for ZCOIN consumes less electricity than the other algos. I am only making max $20.00 a day on the L3+. I am making over $100.00 a DAY on my Nvidia GPU rig mining ZCOIN ( now over $100 each coin, I mine about 1 coin a day ) What is the big hoopla regarding ASICS< they suck, and I got suckered with D3, and now L3+, oh well.... I make way more than an S9 also, plus I get paid in Bitcoin, so I still do not see the point of an asic? Time to build more GPU mining rigs Would you mind sharing your setup and what you pay for a 1070? I built th is rig over 6 months ago. You can find the parts on Amazon and just build it yourself following this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wUUtyoo9JrkGreat video. I am going to watch it fully once I have time. But it is already looking like so much work to get it build  I fiddled around with GPU mining rigs in 2013. It was a real pita, ongoing tuning, changing and tinkering, including smoking or exploding graphic cards, PSUs and mainboards. As the ASICs came up I switched and, except for the early generations, its more or less plug and play and forget now. Plus smoke and explosions are much rarer Never had any problems with my 8 GPU rig. Things have gotten a lot better now, give it another shot. ps. I do not over-clock any of my cards, everything is stock |

I've had all my Verge show as unverified since Dec 25th (thou it does show on the wallet for proper amounts)
they all still show up unverifid under date...
so I think I have a sych issue
it will sync once in a while...even while showing green icon on tor etc....but never any real progress
