Has anyone bought miners from BITMAIN ( not through giga watt ) and have them hosted at giga-watt yet?
I bought some miners yesterday ( and will buy some more tomorrow ) having them shipped directly to giga-watt.
Just wondering if anyone else has done this

I have bought from Bitmain and have shipped to Gigawatt directly. Right now my L3+ are on the way to Gigawatt. You have to notify the support your antminers are on the way along with tracking info. You should send it to this address below.. I was told by Gigawatt to send it to this address. Jeffrey Field GigaWatt Inc. 474 Highline Drive, Building B East Wenatchee Washington United States 98802 Yes I have that exact information. I put down that address when I ordered my D3's yesterday. I chose UPS as a shipping method. When I chose FEDEX BITMAINS website asked for a Importer Number. I had not idea what that was so I then changed to UPS. Let me know once your miner gets there and is successfully installed. Mine are coming in November. |

I got my items in the cart using IE ( it was easier than opera ) but then when the capcha came up, I had to switch back to Opera. No one from USA will get in....too much lag on the captcha I think a typical lag on one is what 20 seconds..thus impossible to get in (feel like a pigeon pecking a lever for a treat for a psych lab at a Univ) hell, I don't even really want one....but now damn it ..it is a quest...screw the ROI (brave talk I won't get in any way but my ego is intact for trying win/win) I am NOT in the US, I am in JAPAN. Update on the battle, The seller Paul ( if it really is his name, not sure ) said he would send me the funds (2.1 bitcoins) last week and asked for my wallet address. After sending him my wallet address, almost instantly ( not more than 5 minutes later ) he sent me this screen shot of coin base proof of sending the funds: https://imgur.com/dG4VkjuSo I do not think he may have had time to photo-shop my bitcoin wallet address and send it to me ( unless he has some mad photoshop skilz ) I thought great, now I have the money, but, a big BUT, it has been 1 week and the funds have not been received into my wallet. I then turned my attention to Coin base, I found out this is a crappy company, and they hold people's money for a long time. I then sent many support tickets to coin base, no answer. Then I took to facebook and twitter and started badmouthing them that their support sucks, is slow, etc. That got their attention! They finally sent me the following email: https://imgur.com/a/iNtR2Basically they are saying that the funds probably were not sent to the blockchain due to an insufficient fee. ( bitcoin fee ) To verify this they are asking me for a transaction ID. I then sent many emails to the seller Paul to please send me the transaction ID so I can convey this to coin base in case the funds are stuck somewhere within the coin base (crap) architecture. No response. Anyone know what else I can do? ( not going to authorities yet ) |

So after hounding and sending many emails to this website, including some that threatened the owner, they offered me a refund which they indeed did pay. ( for the Antminer L3+ https://blockchain.info/address/1DmDkdarNj2kpsgjUchEdbfft79SGavw9TAlthough I warn everyone, if you order from here, expect SHIT/CRAP customer service. They never even told me when my miners would be shipped, not even an estimated date. Their phone number on their website is a fake, I tried calling many times. They list an address in Alabama and Scotland on their website. Go figure. One scam down, 2 more to go.... |

Paypal used to have similiar problems for many years with people just getting money frozen etc. I would think it happens when they grow too fast and need to consider all different regional money laundering issues and so on. Anyway, threadstarter, are you even sure the guy you purchased from DID ACTUALLY REFUND YOU? That he really send you money ? Because if he scammed you he probably would not send you anything back, and so its maybe not even Coinbase fault?
