personally i dont pay mobile at all and or ever!let alone paying for internet on a mobile! but i also find this very retro as i would simply go to the nearest coffee shop and jump on the free! many other examples are very loud also but hey if this works for you ... geed luck!
Maybe in your case you find this idea not that good. But if you are from a country that don't have free internet and the speed is very limited like on my country (Philippines) this is a very good idea. personally i dont pay mobile at all and or ever!let alone paying for internet on a mobile! but i also find this very retro as i would simply go to the nearest coffee shop and jump on the free! many other examples are very loud also but hey if this works for you ... geed luck!

Without listing specific carriers as yet, there is some info in the FAQ that pertains here. What are the benefits for wireless carriers?Carriers are incentivized to maximize revenue per user since they have high fixed costs.
80% of the world is prepaid but prepaid users have 1/8th of the ARPU of post-paid users with often 3X the churn. In addition, Only 30% of carriers’ spectrum capacity is used so wireless carries benefit from working with AirFox by enabling us to buy data in bulk and monetize these low ARPU subscribers and get them to use more data.
Pre-paid MVNOs like Cricket Wireless and Boost are already established business model examples that serve a niche and a purpose for the underlying Tier-1 Carrier. |
