Hi, I am keen to learn the following (which I have a strong feeling has been discussed in earlier threads, but I am quite overwhelmed by):
1) If I were to choose for a full/heavy wallet version, will it sync everytime I make a transaction (or periodically, like a software update?). At present, how long it takes to sync a full node? Any other downsides downloading a full wallet? Also, what are the benefits of having one, in addition to having a copy of the full chain?
2) Might be quite elementary - what is the difference between byte and blackbyte?
I am quite new, so I am grateful for your advice. Thanks!

I don't believe that this is the beginning of the death of bitcoin. Even if I'm a noob here, I still believe that crypto era has just begun. That's my opinion though.
Some believe the crypto era is ending with the adoption of quantum computers.  I read that some crytographic algorithm will still work in quantum computing. Is that true? Can someone share more insights? |

If they want to nuke South Korea or Japan (or even Hawaii or Guam), then they can easily do that.
No. DPRK have no modern tecnology to perform a military effective launch. They need some 2 days to send 1 missile from open and visible place. Any real dangerous missile will be hit on the launching pad. All this show have 2 fines: first - DPRK need spend money on unnecessary armaments second - US taxpayers feeds Military–industrial complex. Interesting discussion gong on here. In your opinion, what should a general citizen in US, North Korea, South Korea, Japan and China, and/or India do to influence their respective governments? |

I have just read an interview with Vitalik Buterin.
Even he thinks that many of the ICOs are worthless scams.
The investors can not distinguish between projects with real technological potential and those who are free from any value.
It loooks like he is sharing Chinas point of view regarding the ban of ICOs.
Agree. In the interview, or any other material you might have read, is there any further indication of how China (and other countries) might regulate it? |
