quasi tutte le obbligazioni venezuelane ("deuda" o corporate) sono sotto giurisdizione dello stato di NY. Ed è normale che la giurisdizione sia di uno stato estero altrimenti pochi comprerebbero il titolo di uno stato sapendo che lo stesso potrebbe dopo qualche anno cancellare il debito, no ?
Ed ora il Venezuela è sotto sanzioni Usa, forse in questo senso il sole diceva che il comportamento è sporco, ma ripeto: per me siamo un po' "border line" su questa presunta scorrettezza perché ritengo un bene che la giurisdizione dei titoli sia estera. Si, può darsi che sia un bene che la giurisdizione delle obbligazioni di uno stato a rischio come il Venezuela siano sotto giurisdizione estera, di certo non è un bene per loro che siano sotto giurisdizione americana, in quanto paese loro nemico, che pretende di decidere unilateralmente in giro per mondo per difendere i loro esclusivi interessi nazionali... Tuttavia credo che le stanze di compensazione quando ricevono le rimesse dal Venezuela destinate a rimborsare gli obbligazionisti dovrebbero utilizzarle a quello scopo. Se le bloccano su pressione politica di un paese nemico non mi pare che facciano proprio il loro dovere Esattamente. Gli americani, avendo inviso il governo Maduro perchè non adatto ai loro interessi , farebbero qualunque cosa per buttarlo giù (e con questo non sto dicendo che quel governo vada bene per il popolo venezuelano e non sia dittatoriale, ma solo ossevando la situazione da entrambi i lati...). Comprese inique sanzioni internazionali, che non hanno altro risultato che quello di affamare ancora di più la popolazione della nazione, senza ottenere nient'altro di buono. Guarda cosa hanno fatto con le obbligazioni argentine: dopo il default non hanno più pagato nulla per anni e probabilmente avrebbero continuato così se non ci fosse stato un tribunale americano che alla fine li ha obbligati a pagare (il compianto giudice Griesa, che se non erro è morto pochi mesi dopo questa sua sentenza).
Ora quei bondholders sono stati totalmente risarciti, ma è successo dopo 15 anni dal default, e solo per i pochi che avevano conservato le obbligazioni divenute per molti "carta straccia". Non è andata proprio così. Parecchi anni dopo il default argentino del 2001, gli hedge funds (cioè i fondi speculativi avvoltoi americani) hanno comprato per quattro soldi i buoni del Tesoro argentini emessi prima del 2001 da persone che volevano liberarsene a qualunque prezzo. Quindi prima hanno rastrellato a quattro soldi, poi con la compiacenza dei tribunali americani che solo dopo anni hanno deciso di intervenire (guarda caso? Forse perchè erano poi entrati gli hedge funds?) hanno obbligato l'Argentina a rimborsare il 100% del valore nominale (ci sta) più tutti gli interessi degli ultimi anni (mi pare che fosse qualcosa come il 1600%!!!), impedendogli di proseguire sulla ristrutturazione del debito che i debitori precedenti avevano accettato e dopo gli hedge funds, entrai in possesso dei titoli rastrellati a 2 soldi, non più. Cioè in poche parole hanno obbligato con il potere l'opera di speculazioni di strozzini, intervendo solo perchè erano poi quegli strozzini stessi ad avere rastrellato i titoli. Io ancora sto aspettando di vedere Petro su exchange Campa cavallo... I ragionamenti sono tutti corretti. Però penso che quando si parla di crypto bisogna uscire dalle logiche tradizionali e rompere gli schemi. È ovvio che Usa e lobby finanziarie fanno di tutto per fermare gli esperimenti come quello di Petro. Bisognerà però vedere alla fine chi vince. Se siamo qui su questi forum. Ci siamo anche perché pensiamo ad un monetarismo dei popoli. O no? |
