101  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH vs CMT on: November 05, 2017, 02:17:25 AM
This is truly a fascinating idea. I can see all of the applications. Upon looking at the medium blog, I found out about even more features. Very excited for this one
102  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why should you join CyberMiles? on: November 05, 2017, 02:05:39 AM
Thanks for sharing! Planning on finishing your whitepaper in a few. Excited for this one.
103  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Successor to Ethereum? on: November 05, 2017, 01:55:34 AM
Saw this article on steemit: https://steemit.com/cybermiles/@supersheriffen/revolutionising-e-commerce-is-cybermiles-the-successor-to-ethereum

"The success of any project can be measured in its ability to solve problems; CyberMiles is doing that with a range of innovative ideas for the e-commerce landscape.

They empower developers to reshape billion-dollar industries across the world.
They empower smaller businesses to thrive where they otherwise risk being forced out by giants like Amazon.
They empower communities by giving more incentive to participate in all the proceedings of a c2c(consumer to consumer) marketplace, which normally would be controlled by a few people in a centralized manner.
It’s democracy at its best, and a new revolution in decentralization."

Thoughts?

Yeah, that would be a nice idea.Dont know much about cybermiles project. But from what you have said, the project would be nice if implemented well. Amazon and other e-commerce are completely centralize and sometimes I feel worried for it as they take the final decisions and keep calm even though consumers faces problems.Amazon losing its reputation due to this.I have faced many issues with them and thought that there should be an other giant in e-commerce.But decentralized e-commerce is a good idea.I have seen a few ICO projects recently but none of them look promising.Hope this project would be as good as ethereum.

I feel the same way about amazon and especially ebay. Two big guys that control your seller power and can shut you down whenever.

In terms of how unique cybermiles is, I see a lot of potential. I suggest people that are interested to read through the whole whitepaper. It's not just the idea, platform backing it, but also the ecosystem itself. The whole idea of arbiters is very intriguing.
104  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Who uses myetherwallet? on: November 05, 2017, 01:51:14 AM
I use it and have been using it without hiccups. I'm also glad to see tokens/ico's like cybermiles accept myetherwallet.
105  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best ICO of week on: November 05, 2017, 01:48:50 AM
Look into cybermiles. I see tons of potential and a lot of people are covering them right now. Of course do your own research, but here's a link: https://www.inc.com/fivemiles/whats-all-the-talk-about-blockchain-and-why-should-i-even-care.html
106  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Legal bitcoin or illegal bitcoin on: October 22, 2017, 11:35:31 PM
It really just depends on which country you live in. Some are very lenient and/or indifferent while others will jail you.

Hopefully soon those countries become more progressive
107  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: do bitcoin gambling sites need gambling licenses? on: October 22, 2017, 11:31:15 PM
Depends on the country. If you've seen on the news, Unikrn, with their ongoing ico UnikoinGold, recently got their malta license.
I think this is important for credibility. Too many scam sites out there stealing money from innocent people.

Looks like unikoingold will be disrupting the esports realm with their betting platform. http://www.newsbtc.com/2017/10/22/mark-cuban-ashton-kutcher-unikrn-ico/
108  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will bitcoin end? on: October 22, 2017, 11:23:51 PM
I don't think it'll be replaced. It might inflate incredibly high and then someone like ethereum will come along with diverse applications. They can always be used side by side.
109  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [ICO LIVE] Unikoin Gold -Decentralized Esports Betting back by Mark Cuban on: October 22, 2017, 11:17:50 PM
Holy cow, anyone paying attention to this one? I have a good feeling about unikoingold
110  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Do ICO's need licenses? on: October 22, 2017, 11:15:43 PM
I can not follow you here as Malta Gaming Authority issues only gambling licenses? Or requested Unikrn separately an ICO license at Malthese authorities or in other countries?

If ICOs need licenses depends on the laws of a country and there are surely a lot of countries that do not ask for licenses.

It's a gambling license I believe. I think what this brings to light is whether ico's should pursue licenses for validity and credibility.
And on the flipside, should governments/countries have qualifications for valid ico's.
111  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: UnikoingGold Sale Ending in 10 hours on: October 22, 2017, 11:03:38 PM
Been looking into them ever since I found out about them in a facebook group. Already have some eth into it. Are they planning on hitting exchanges? I see the CEO hint at it all the time.

Just saw this posted too: http://www.newsbtc.com/2017/10/22/mark-cuban-ashton-kutcher-unikrn-ico/
112  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Thoughts on cybermiles/5miles? on: October 19, 2017, 03:24:33 AM
Been hearing about cybermiles a lot lately since they're at pre-sale. Thoughts?
113  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to start an successful ico on: October 11, 2017, 11:52:22 PM
an example of a good ico is the team, idea, platform, and all the small details like website, branding, etc.

Unikoingold recently falls into that category.
114  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: UNIKRN ICO on: October 11, 2017, 11:43:01 PM
Invested because of the team and existing platform. Seems like they have a 15% betting reserve to stabilize price
115  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: altcoins for 2-3 years holding! on: October 11, 2017, 11:35:42 PM
Don't forget unikoingold. Their stuff ends in like 2 weeks or so. If youre into esports and the long term, they are solid
116  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: When will banks start a war against bitcoin on: October 11, 2017, 11:26:33 PM
I don't think there will be a war. There's no way for them to stop anything, but only cooperate.
117  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is ICO regulation good or bad? on: October 11, 2017, 11:15:00 PM
Pros and cons always. Regulations have to happen in order for ICO's to be widespread. Countries like Australia and Malta are doing a good job of regulations.

Recently there was an ICO that got a license to be able to bring real-money esports gambling to Europe: https://www.coindesk.com/regulated-cryptocurrency-betting-just-got-big-boost-europe/
118  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Legality of BTC gambling sites in regulated countries. on: October 05, 2017, 03:46:25 AM
A lot of countries ban gambling, but if you're into esports betting and tournaments, you have to check out Unikrn. They launched their ICO UnikoinGold last month and the sale is ending in three weeks. Incredible concept and they're one of the only legal platforms out there. They even have fiat betting in the UK and Australia. Crazy stuff, but it's companies like these we need.
119  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [ICO LIVE] Unikoin Gold -Decentralized Esports Betting back by Mark Cuban on: October 05, 2017, 03:39:18 AM
It's insane how you can bet fiat in the UK. I wonder if it'll come to the US because the esports industry is starting to boom here. After reviewing the white paper, UnikoinGold seems solid. Read a bunch of articles about them and watched their cryptocompare profile. Looks like a long haul type of token, but that's the game I'm in.
120  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Not Yet Legal But Not Banned on: September 29, 2017, 04:12:33 AM
Every country will determine and rule how they categorize bitcoin or crypto. At the moment it's in such a grey area to really determine and the government is too behind to catch up. But then you have countries like Switzerland that are very forward with their tech.
