101  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Best crypto to buy now? on: December 04, 2017, 10:04:18 AM
Hi - Newbie here..I would like to put down 1000 USD next week.. What would your advice be to me?

As others said already, bitcoin is the safest, then, etherium and ripple can do - these two are so promising coins that i think will really boom soon.
102  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why is Ethereum so special? on: December 04, 2017, 09:59:44 AM
Ethereum has seen a huge rise in its adoption as the platform new startups use in implementing their projects.
However, there are other platforms such as Waves that can do the same things Ethereum does ( even easily as Waves does not require any programming skills). Why can't new startups use the Ethereum alternatives? Is there any uniqueness in Ethereum that other platforms don't have? What makes Ethereum the in-thing?

Etherium is very special because it can exist alone even if there is no bitcoin. It has very simple logic and it is now going with bitcoin, price is promising (these alone is special).
103  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why should people use Bitcoin? on: December 04, 2017, 06:56:46 AM
Bitcoin is the future of money, or so they say.

I would like to hear your opinions on Why should people use Bitcoin?

It has very successful story for bitcoin, and it is getting popularity more. It has a very simple transaction yet it is very safe. There are still some things it cannot do that's why it can't change paper money yet.
104  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: "Everyone already knows about bitcoin" no.. no they do not.. on: December 02, 2017, 12:41:13 AM

Most people I find still have zero idea what BTC is unless they are friends with the likes of us.. I don't think we are even in early adoption stage.. we are in "the chasm" .. it would appear we are going to survive though... appear anyways..

I really had a bad experience when its comes to bitcoin. I was the only one from my family to know about it, and they were asking me where do I get money even if I don't work full time. "Are you an addict?" that's the question they ask. I just smile and told them about bitcoin, but, still they are not so convinced.

Bottomline is, still so many doesn't know anything, and even if they know, they still don't- don't get the idea how it works.
105  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: regret by not believing in BITCOIN? on: December 02, 2017, 12:21:42 AM
who among you here heard bitcoin back in 2009 and 2010? I was one of the people who is very skeptical about it and I really regret it. Sad I missed the best opportunity for a lifetime.

I was very unlucky too, I should have heard it along that time, if I do, I should have invested some, but, really cn never tell what will I do when that price is still low and it is not that popular.
106  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoin cannot replace currency in the world because price is not stable on: December 02, 2017, 12:18:43 AM
bitcoin cannot replace currency in the world because price is not stable.

currency should be more stable.

you may reply me. currency is not stable also but you should think

USD currency price is up and down 1-2% in 1 month.

bitcoin price is up and down 20% in 1 month.

what will people think if they just change USD to bitcoin then their money down 10% in 10 minutes?

bitcoin can become stock but cannot become currency

I am more sure that bitcoin cannot really replace bitcoin. Some, or should I say many features of bitcoins are still lacking to match what currency can do. Being unstable is one main reason why it can't

108  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin make Banks disappear? on: November 30, 2017, 01:49:35 PM
It seems that experts say that Bitcoin 'Here to Stay,' But Banks Could Disappear.

"TheStreet: How do you think FinTech will impact the way banks operate?

Frank Schwab: Banks either react on, or they will disappear. Anyway, the consolidation of the banking industry accelerates as the behaviour of people changes. Some banks will benefit from [FinTech], some will be pushed to the back end, and some will disappear."
http://www.thestreet.com/story/13419089/1/bitcoin-here-to-stay-but-banks-could-disappear-says-fintech-expert.html

What's your read on that?

It never comes to me that BTC can replace banks, it is impossible to make it disappear. There are still many bank's features/ can do that bitcoin can't. May these also make sense that only little of us know about crypto vs who doesn't.
109  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why there are too many? Bitcoin price, Altcoins, ICOs and Newbies on: November 30, 2017, 01:33:28 PM
I just wanted to know as the end of the year is approaching...

1. Bitcoin price increases so high.
2. Altcoins and ICOs are too much.
And most of all
3. Newbies in this forum are too many.

Why these things are happening?
And what are the interesting facts behind it?

Those three will just be all from a two reasons, the crypto world is getting so much popularity, and it is being featured many times. Everyone wants to experience, being curious why its value is too high.
110  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why are so many people against bitcoin? on: November 30, 2017, 07:10:33 AM
I'm trying to understand why are so many people against bitcoin?  is it the innovation that scares them? the feeling of staying behind? the fact that that money will go to the wrong hands?

Insecurities is the first word I think of, maybe, the fact that BTC is just in there and so many is benefiting from it and getting more than them. One more is, they are the people who regrets the decision they had made long time ago about bitcoin, they could not accept the fact that they have done a big mistake.
111  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is BTC for you? on: November 30, 2017, 07:04:56 AM
What is bitcoin for you? Is it a chance or a scheme to get rich? Or is it actually to keep your wealth to yourself.
What lead you into bitcoin world and what's keeping you here?

Bitcoin fo me is a life-saver, it makes me learn, enjoy and also makee me busy to forget my vices. It is definitely a chance to get money (not rich), ectra income. It is financial problem that leads me hear and these decision I made 2 months ago was a righteous one. What's keeping me here is everything I said plus I want to make my mom proud of me.  Smiley

113  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Safest way to keep bitcoins? on: November 29, 2017, 06:47:21 AM
What is the safest way to keep bitcoins.

Taken dangers like hacking, losing in to account!

Bitcoin has developed impressively , but, also the number of hacking expanded too.The most common were those that hacks was rerouting tokens destined for one wallet for another. Here are a couple of approaches to store your Bitcoins that might be more secure than others.
These 4 option may be the best option wallets: Desktop, hardware, paper wallet and buying physical coins -however each of them also have their flaws.
114  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: How to buy Tether USD? on: November 29, 2017, 06:23:48 AM
Buying can be found in many websites, what I found seems like an easy one is from www.coinspot.com.au , buy Tether USD by just putting the amount of it in the form they are providing on their homepage, then it will be sent to your Coinspot wallet. As I searched, it is 100% legit base on spam checkers and reviews.
115  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Am i too late on: November 29, 2017, 05:47:03 AM
is now too late to invest on bitcoin ?

Being late is better than never. Investing on bitcoin will never be late, its value is always changing and its not going down, it still bubbling very fast. If you invest now, it will be a profitable one- it will be larger amount by tomorrow.
116  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum to go up or down? on: November 29, 2017, 05:41:43 AM
Hopefully at some point, there will be some type of regulatory system in place to control the number of ICO's released...that will be the best way to help the price skyrocket IMO

I really don't know why their was no rules or something like regulations with regards to ICO, it should be limited or a strict policy about it

Ethereum Price Technical Analysis – Bears Getting Hungry?

If the area of interest holds as resistance, the Ethereum price could make its way back down to the previous lows at 0.0017 BTC. The 100 Simple Moving Average also appears to be holding as a dynamic resistance level and is trading below...

Etherium will never really come to 2016 value of .0017 BTC each, now it coexists and follow same path with bitcoin. As of now, estimated value of it is  0.045826BTC equivalent to $491.
118  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you surprise by bitcoin price now? on: November 29, 2017, 12:47:06 AM
October 29, 2017 Bitcoin price ranges from $6,000 - $6,100 and today, bitcoin price is now $7,000. Are you surprise?

I think, if only those people who planning to invest in bitcoin manage to notice this sudden increase. I think there is a high chance that they will start investing.

Defenitely, just a month ago it was $6,000, and now everybody is celebrating because its value has gone to $10,000 and very fast bubbling. I was so happy that I save some bitcoins and it was unbelievable in our local money.
