Hi Guys, Anyone else running into this issue with wallets? I can't seem to open my wallet and I have over 20k coins in there. Edit: I was able to get my backups and saved it. Still, each time I try to get the wallet up I keep getting the same error. I've shut down my mining rigs since then, but I'm afraid I may have lost 3,000 just today from mining. Any thoughts on how to recover these coins?  Run into this a couple times. 1) backup your wallet to a safe place 2) delete everything in %appdata%bitcoinz directory 3) copy wallet back to that directory 4) restart Let it sync. |

I've been trying to set up EWBF and Claymore on miningspeed and btcZPool and the miners threw a authentication error on both.
I proof read my configs many times to check if I forgot a character or a value (happens sometimes, moreover when you stay up till late night) but everything was in its place.
Help much appreciated!!

Help. The wallet does not work 1.1.0_1.1 windows 7. BitcoinZ_blockchain was changing files in the wallet after the next entry to the purse wallet is not synchronized.
DEV when to solve this problem? try this: 1) backup wallet (wallet.dat) in %appdata%/BitcoinZ 2) delete everything in %appdata%/BitcoinZ 3) restart wallet, once loaded, close it 4) restore your backup wallet to %appdata%/BitcoinZ 5) edit your .conf file -- add nodes from one of these lists ( https://c-cex.com/?id=ws&shownodes=btcz, http://www.zpool.ca/explorer/peers?id=2520) Restart wallet, let it sync. |

Just to forewarn people, this is becoming more like a centralized coin, the core/devteam has scared off many developers from joining the core or even being a part of the community itself, i'd imagine its to slow down the coin to mine it out, they don't care about you lol.
Got a few comments from my last post figured i'd make something short, happy mining everyone! Remember sharing is caring, not scaring lol.
How can core team 'scare off' anyone? That said, coin supply is so massive I don't mind the go it slow approach. |

With mining pools - no, v3 to v3 for some time yes, but in the end all chain will be v4 based and v3 will be done, so make sure to upgrade to v4 wallet ASAP. Thank you. I think BitcoinZ is the most "fair" coin of all. But why the price is so low ? (i understand that its new coin and total supply 21bill ... but why SOOO Low ?!)
What do you think ? Will this coin gain some worth or die ?
BTCz is a comunautary coin : no proprietary team, all is open source. Then, BTCz can't die or will only if the community die, this is quasi impossible. For other coins with official teams, if the team die, the coin die : not with BTCz. BTCz price is not so low : have you seen the others coins price fall, BTCz price is still around 80 satoshis : it is very good. BTCz price will rise in the near future, probably in the next crypto pump, probably this month or march. The Exchange Race has been going on for more than a month now and only 12% raised. I'm not expecting this to finish anytime soon for another price jump. But on the bright side, it gives everyone more time to stock up on BitcoinZ. Even it is the fairest coin it is still lacking the ecosystem of other coins. You can't expect the community from other coins to just jump ship and join a coin with a much smaller ecosystem. There is a lot of opportunity cost involved. What is it missing? I think you just spoke without having a clue. BTCZ has super fast working Android wallet. Even ZClassic does NOT have an Android wallet. Zelcash is a copy/paste joke by the greedy. BTCZ has ZERO premine. Many others, even new ones do have major taxes. BTCZ has weathered the recent crashes and still hovering around the same price as a month ago. Steady at its super low prices of 80 Satoshis which is ridiculously low. BTCZ has 1/1000 numebr of coins compared to BTC so the nominal price is 0.001BTC or 100,000 Satoshis to reach the same market cap of Bitcoin. Even if it does not, it is still trading 1000 times less what its nominal value. Keep in mind on equal grounds, ETH for example is trading at half of its nominal value. if I could +1 I would. Right now is about the best time to mine or purchase btcz. Android wallet is slick and works fantastic. You can min directly to it without having to bootstrap blockchain and wait hours to sync. As mentioned before props to the devs on this. You'll see the max supply, one day, as prescient. |

A bit more work but didn't want to switch adresses to mine the coins haha. Yeah I have the same problem, it's at 99.96%, worked fine all the time I had it. Not sure what's the problem. Ragnarpool
Thank you for the pool, only mining with 450 to 600 Sols on average on my pc(and my 2 kids' pc's if they don't game haha), but I get higher payouts then I had on 2 other pools. Use the exchange myself to buy more Bitcoinz.  Thanks, hopefully it'll be back soon... anyways redirected mining to the android wallet. I have an old nexus 7 sitting around - my btcz wallet now. :-) Have to say, the interface looks great and was easy to setup. They did a great job. |

Crazy, been hodling since token swap. All I know is that I wasn't so optimistic back when everything hit the fan but the new team has delivered on pretty much every front and I'm really impressed with the future of ebitcoin. There is no reason why ebtc can't be / shouldn't be competing with bitcoin cash as a means of exchange and store of value.

This helped everything get synced. Having an SSD also speeds things up - sorry, couldn't find a bootstrap. Yup, stocks.exchange is working to much bad for my taste, we need to deal with them with carefull and yes, we need another exchange.
Good evening fellow btcz'er, I am new to the community of BTCZ but I would like to give some credits to stocks.exchange. I read a few stories that the exchanges BTCZ is listed on are not to reliable. Eventually I chose to buy my coins at stocks.exchange the conformation of my deposit took a little longer then expected had to wait for 4 confirms but after purchasing my BTCZ i could withdraw without problems. I haven't tried satoshi exchange but stocks.exchange seems to work flawless for me. I hope i can take away some concerns of the people willing to invest in this coin but my advice is always do a small deposit first buy some coins withdraw them if it all works fine make a bigger deposit. There isn't much volume so it's harder to trigger your limit price. Also, no issues withdrawing to wallets - that was quick and that's what matters at the end of the day. #hodl on. |
