Hey make sure u backup Your wallet before u try to do anything. wallet.dat or use option for backup in the menu ( i am talking about swing wallet).

Protecting this file is extremely important - it is Your wallet mate.

My wallet was fine until I started using the HODL wallet on my machine, now my btcz wallet corrupts constantly. I freaked out the first two times, now I backup before exiting. First chance I can I'm dumping to a paper wallet (if theyre available) because this is BS.  I'm NOT encrypting the wallet on my machine because I feel that will ruin my chances of having even a _slightly_ functional wallet...so I'm just going to switch to something different completely if at all possible.

The probem is, already 8 hours past and no coin on tradesatoshi and no coin in my wallet.
Confirmations are 0 and when i click in my wallet at "show in block explorer", i got a page saying "Transaction Not Found "
What this mean? I transfered the coin and now i lost them?

Everthing OK.

Restart PC or got to TASK manager and terminate all tasks about BTCZ wallet then start wallet again.

Problem is some times when you close wallet dont stopit.

Just curious, how many connections should the Windows BitcoinZ wallet have? Do the number of connections make any difference in its functionality, or is just 1 sufficient. I usually see around 13 connections.

After deleting folders, and downloading again the blocks, it's works... until you close/reopen the wallet and the same error appear again :/

For all who had a problem with not syncing GUI wallet (Swing wallet) there is a solution:
1). download a blockchain bootstrap from: https://s3-us-west-1.amazonaws.com/cryptochainer/blockchains/BitcoinZ_blockchain.zip
2) delete all excluding wallet.dat (!) in ../AppData/Roaming/BitcoinZ
3) extract downloaded zip file into BitcoinZ directory
4) start bitcoinz-wallet.exe (1.0.1.2) or bitcoinz-wallet.bat (1.0.1.4)
5) enjoy!

There is also a similar problem with the Zcash4win wallet: https://forum.z.cash/t/zcash4win-beta-is-out/14155/1052 resolved by adding "disabledeprecation = 1.0.12" in config file.
Zcashd.exe seems to be the problem...

Anyone noticed that the EOF error shows up pretty often? I’ve deleted the blockchain, got a new one. Replaced it added nodes. I got it fixed last night. This morning. Again. Each time it’s happening after sending btcz to a z address.

Also.

What’s the tx fee? Shouldn’t it be 0.0001? I managed to send some btcz with 0.00000001 fee though.

I think BitcoinZ is the most "fair" coin of all. But why the price is so low ?  (i understand that its new coin and total supply 21bill ... but why SOOO Low ?!)

Can confirm EOF error shows up only after sending btcz to z address. If you send only to t address, btcz wallet will run correctly next time. Also can confirm the min fee used was 0.0000001 btcz not as per the previous post. Although, why can this be lowered? Shouldn’t it be 0.0001?
