If it helps any of you holders out there, there is a decent amount of volume in OTC trades around the .30-.40 range with demand from korea pushing up to .50 (if you can handle the language barrier) so there's a good chance that the price on the exchanges will at least be above ICO.

LoL, yes getting paid off your "capital value" in BTC is complete madness.
My go-to option has been margin lending, since an exchange with considerable volume is more trustable than a lending start-up, IMO.
Not only are you paid back in the same currency you lend, you can often lend out different currencies at different rates. Even though it rarely is a good idea to convert your holdings just to get a few points on the interest rate in the short-term.
I will definitely check out the website you mention, and if you are not satisfied with it yourself, i recommend you try btcpop if margin lending is not your cup of tea.

I am sure some of you found out about Confido and made an investment, I saw their signatures worn around the forum. In any case, how is the mood in the Confido community and what are the investors' plans to put the people responsible to give them a refund?  A startup on the Ethereum platform vanished from the internet on Sunday after raising $374,000 USD from investors in an Initial Coin Offering (ICO) fundraiser.
on Sunday, the company unceremoniously deleted its Twitter account and took down its website. A company representative posted a brief comment to the company’s now-private subforum on Reddit, citing legal problems that prevent the Confido team from continuing their work. The same message was also posted to Medium but quickly deleted.
“Right now, we are in a tight spot, as we are having legal trouble caused by a contract we signed,” the message stated (a cached version of the Medium post is viewable). “It is likely that we will be able to find a solution to rectify the situation. The community manager "chris" on the confido telegram stated that he is calling the police because he now knows it was a fraud. All social media has been wiped out. Yup it's pretty safe to say there will never be a confido. |
