After fixing a SIGBUS error I managed to get clintar's miner working on ARM. Still some issues (which don't seem to impact mining)
Four A15 cores x 1.4GHz getting 125kHash/s
No optimizations yet but I am getting about 25% of hash rate of my E5630 (per core).
ARM looks to be over 6 times more hash per watt (getting any publish power consumption number for my ARM is difficult!!)

Anyone know what the current wealth distribution is like ?? is it anything like quark where a few people held over 90% of the coins?
Unlikely, the block reward hasn't changed, the coins are likely quite evenly distributed, maybe 10% wealthy early adopters. |

Jesus, there's almost as many 1/2 done exchanges coming out per day as there is new shitty scrypt clones. And i thought it was a gong show 6 months ago. I'll wait for cryptsy. It even says right on the trading page that the functionality isn't complete yet. |

Well I quit trying to solo, ypool gets 99.9% of the blocks and their miner is 33% faster so no point to try soloing....
I sadly had an accident on the 19th and missed the launch of this coin, really lucked out on that one ://

Now the difficulty is high and the block reward is about the target (2.5 minutes per block) what means only 28800 coins per day, we don't know the hash of the network, but ypool is probably 90% of it, and ypool has 5037415kh/s, assuming a total of 5.6Gh/s the network, 14x 1230 V3 should give you 9926kh/s, so you should average get 51MTC per day (let's make it 50MTC/day because of the pool fee)  I used real MH that i was hashing at and the gains i had gotten per hour. You are using hypothetical numbers. your numbers are wrong. Lol, why hypothetical? It's all there, ypool current hashrate: 6358341.16khs, if you check http://ypool.net/mtc/stats_blocks you will see that they are currently getting ALL the blocks, so they account now probably for 99% of the networkhash. One 1230 v3 gives you 709kh/s, 14x gives you 9926kh/s. If you check the source code, the block target is 2.5minutes and 50 coins per block, so there we go, 28800 coins per day that ypool should get, knowing that their miner has 4.5% fee you have all the data to calculate your %. Now, this is not hypothetical, but theoretical, because in fact today you should get much more than that, because they are solving blocks in only a few seconds, so they gonna mine a lot of more than 28800 coins, at least until next diff. What also means that next diff gonna be probably 4x current difficulty, which is already 4096. (ofc I could be wrong with my calculations, no problem if you point out the mistake ) The assumption you are making is the block times are 2.56min. Also you did not accurately account for the fee in your original calculation. 4.5% of 51 is not 1. |
