In realtà non è sicuro che ci sia una fork, si tratta di segwit2x che è stato ufficialmente cancellato. Coinbase avverte della possibilità che qualcuno porti comunque avanti la fork ma con il supporto azzerato, anche se verrà creato un nuovo network, non sarà comunque utilizzabile. Nel caso invece che per qualche motivo qualcuno porti avanti la fork e il network funzionasse, Coinbase attribuirà i nuovi tokens b2x. In ogni caso, a prescindere dal fatto che i bitcoin sono sicuri solo nel proprio wallet personale, i fondi su coinbase non saranno in "pericolo".

My goodness, this project looks like an obvious scam:

- The website is a joke
- The team does not exist
- The whitepaper is ridiculous - it doesn't say anything about the coin and the project
- The name itself is just a cheap trick to gain visibility thanks to the original NEO brand

I did not withdraw any coins but right now the wallet status for PIVX at Cryptopia is "OK". Maybe you guys should check it out.

They didn't win the vote for community coin, but their application to be listed on Binance is being currently reviewed by the exchange. So we must wait and see.

The Forum looks great and is indeed the best way to find all the info we need on the coin. I suggest you put a link right at the beginning of the ANN so that new people can quickly learn where to find all the infos and faq.

The number of coins for sale on the exchanges is the number of coins that people want to sell at a given time... It's the same for every cryptocurrency (and asset, shares, ecc.) so I don't know what you are complaining about.

All bitcoin owners will be credited an equivalent amount of segwit2x tokens at the time of the fork, with Bitcoin "Legacy" keeping the "Bitcoin" denomination (at least, at first).

Even on Linux, the latest wallet release works perfectly. I just had to replace the pivx-qt file as usual and resync to get on the right blockchain. My balance is intact! Thank you for the great effort and the swift solution.

Ah, I've just come across this post and it took me back to 2 years ago when the cryptsy drama was unfolding... I'll share my story even if it's probably out of context now. I had a couple of bitcoins on the exchange that I traded with all sorts of coin: Pot, doge, nxt, cannabis coin, and so on. But I was crazy enough to get 1 BTC equivalent of TITTIECOINS (yes, really). Right before the end, when cryptsy was about to go full mt. gox, they would let users withdraw only a little number of cryptos... one of which was tittiecoin! They saved my ass (I bought ETH with those funds). I can think about all of this now and smile (even if I lost half of my investment), but back in the days this whole story was very very upsetting.
I just hope many of you managed to get something back with the lawsuit.

Ha raggiunto il cap in pochissimo tempo, si tratta di un progetto già ben avviato in Corea del Sud. I tokens, comunque, devono ancora essere distribuiti. Le attività di trading quindi inizieranno a novembre/dicembre.

Da quanto mi risulta, anche leggendo le varie dichiarazioni delle piattaforme di scambio (Bittrex, Trezor) che non supportano la fork, Bitcoin gold NON ha la replay protection.

Anche io mi sento di consigliare TheRockTrading, che uso dal 2013. Ci sono pochi altcoins, ma per noi italiani l'acquisto e scambio di Bitcoin con euro è facilissimo. Una volta registrati come utenti verificati (bastano documento d'identità e estratto conto per confermare la proprietà del c/c da cui fate i bonifici), si possono effettuare bonifici sul loro C/C italiano, con tempi quindi molto ridotti rispetto ad altre piattaforme estere.
Confermo anche che il loro team di supporto è sempre veloce ed efficiente.

Francamente vedo queste Fork solamente come un'occasione per speculare un po'. Dalla mia esperienza con Bitcoin Cash (mi è stato accreditato "aggratis" su Bittrex) direi che sia per chi crede nella tecnologia sia per chi è meramente interessato alla speculazione, alla fine conviene. Sono letteralmente soldi regalati, e non credo che Bitcoin 2X o Bitcoin Gold possano davvero pensare di prendere il posto dell'originale.
Farò quindi come a suo tempo per Bitcoin Cash, appena vedrò accreditati i nuovi token tornerò sulle mie posizioni Altcoins.
