As everyone knows one of the major problems with Bitcoin economy is hoarding. The idea of this poll is to find out whether the lack of spending in the BTC economy is mainly due to the lack of acceptance of Bitcoin payments, or is it that people can actually buy a good deal of stuff that they need with BTC but choose not to.
For me, I have been new to bitcoin and I have seen the price go up from $400 to $7000 in the span of three years. I am currently employed now and I am not a thrifty person. I plan to just maintain it in my wallet for years to come.

I'm a beginner of bitcoin, and I want to know how to determine the timing of the purchase Actually I have been monitoring my E-wallet lately and I noticed that the price/value of bitcoin goes up during the morning/afternoon (7am-8pm) and it goes down (Making bitcoin cheaper) around 9pm onwards (PH TIME). I hope this helps and I accept comments regarding this; it's just a realization or something that I have noticed.

I don't think that holding bitcoin is greedy. An individual who's aspirant on become rich someday should not be thrifty. Bitcoin is a matter of investment just like in stocks. If you maintain your bitcoin in your wallet for a long term, it could increase or decrease because one does not know when bitcoin would reach their margin and decrease. As of the moment, I believe that Bitcoin is on the verge of increasing it's value since more and more investors come to realize that Bitcoin would be the next good thing.

As stated in the subject. Thanks.
Escrow? No problem. I can provide a screenshot with my ethereum wallet.
Reason for buying : I can't transfer my ethereum to my coins.ph wallet since it doesnt accept ethereum, only bitcoins and PHP.
You can exchange your ETH using blockchain for bitcoin easily, why don't use do it that way? How do I do that?

That's quite depressing seeing her with no interest in learning the ways of bitcoin. Nevertheless, considering her age would be understandable. I talked to my mother at first regarding investing in bitcoins and she didnt hesitate to tell me that I shouldn't due to the scams and hacks that happen nowadays. It seems that more people prefer normal investing in stocks; thing that have been tried and tested that wouldn't result to a scam. I still love to hear and read about bitcoins still though, since this seems to be interesting something that was once $7 became $600 in 4 years.
That being said, Bitcoin is still on the verge of rising through the markets and being known to everyone. Maybe some day, bitcoin would be the main currency of individuals.

Hi guys, I am new here and I am constantly online here on the forum to read, comment and share insights of what I know. Apparently, as i've ventured in the Market (service) section, some signature managers would not or would disregard members who are post spamming; those who post 14 times or more within a week. Why would it be spamming when we try our best to reply with the best of our knowledge?

is it risky to turn all my money to bitcoins? anyhow this money sits in the bank and do nothing for!
Yes it is risky!! You shouldn't invest all your money in one thing only. From what I do, I invest my money in one thing and if it turns out great, then nice! But I proceed to finding another investment. Allocating your money to different investments would be the best option especially with the value of bitcoin going up and down.

I use coins.ph since I think it's the only one offered in the Philippines

I have always imagined the whole world using only one cryptocurrency, but that won't happen in this lifetime lol
Innovation is a thing for countries nowadays. I think like in China, Alipay they using online payments already. Maybe some time in the future bitcoins would be a thing. I agree with you partly because how about the homeless, how are they going to use the online payment thing. This is pretty depressing and difficult at the same time

Share your ideas here. In my opinion, I think we will be stuck in one price or maybe worse we will all go down. Here is what happened when US citizens are saving too much. That's important because American spenders make up the majority -- about 70% -- of economic activity in the country. If people don't spend, the economy doesn't grow.
Check it out here
I think that the price is going to be stable then if no one is going to spend a coin and I hate it when the price is stable because it is boring. I know that you have to be patient with Bitcoin but sometimes the price can be stable for a long time. I totally agree. I hate refreshing most of the time just to see if it is really not moving. Sometimes I thought my PC is just frozen but when I checked it out it really didn't move. Nothing to do if that shit happens. If no one uses bitcoins, I agree that it'll maintain its value however with its vast popularity I doubt that would happen. Checking out Facebook right now, I see so much videos about cryptocurrencies and it's really becoming a trend right now!!

I absolutely think since change is something that is inevitable, and innovation is one of the targets of each country; maybe... maybe some day, everything would be done online. For example, Jack Ma the founder of Alibaba just did a talk in our school. He mentioned that some day alipay (A online payment system) would take over. Seeing that as it is, it's already applied in China, its not impossible that it too would happen in other countries and maybe with bitcoin.

Trading bitcoin could be sort of a gamble due to the increase and decrease of the value of coins. There has been a vast difference in the value of coins like altcoins/litecoin etc. So far bitcoin has increased over 200% over the past 2 years.
Investment could be investing your money to a bitcoin mining rig that would get and ROI of some point
