101  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bittrex Security on: February 13, 2018, 04:40:32 PM
Heard that Bittrex has high security. Is there anyone who experienced lost coins in Bittrex wallet?
I have using bittrex for about one and half years and yes it has a very high security features, your account will be logout when a specific time has passed, there is also an IP whitelisting for added protection,2fa verification and many more as far as i know bittrex is one of the most secured exchange together with binance.
102  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to trade waves based tokens? on: February 12, 2018, 04:47:25 PM
If you cannot liquidate your waves tokens the best thing to do is to HOLD these tokens until some exchange accepted your tokens, but if you are eager to cash it out im sure there will some application which has more risk of stealing your tokens, you can use these applications at your own risk but i where you i would wait it to be listed in exchanges.
103  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH or Waves? on: February 12, 2018, 04:43:45 PM
I have 3 ETH and i want to buy some Waves and hold it for long time. Which will be the best option? Buying Waves or Hold ETH!
Ethereum and Waves are indeed has solid platforms which can surely give us more less risks when we invested either of the coins you have mentioned.Ethereum has smartcontracts and decentralized application while waves has some feature that enable new ICOs or developers to tokenized their own cryptocurrency assets which works the best in crowdfunding projects.
104  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you even read whitepaper bro? on: February 11, 2018, 04:25:43 PM
Let be real. How many of you guys actually read the whitepaper? I read whitepaper sometimes, but reading multiple of them can be a burden and a headache. Do you guys got any tips on getting through whitepaper a little faster. It killing a lot of time. Thank.
You can read them most of the time but if you are reading a lot everyday you need to tale note so you wont forgot which is which.Reading whitepaper would give you an idea on how the project will succeed,a good whitepaper isnt a business type whitepaper it should be balance so the project is going to achieve the goals in time.
105  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: When will they start to go up? on: February 11, 2018, 04:14:13 PM
Hey,

I looked at the charts of altcoins and most of them are going down. How much longer do you think will that be happening?
When the big players are done buying cheap altcoins, when they are satisfied enough that is the only time the market will start to recover, you need to think how they are thinking so you are always one step ahead to them. The market is too volatile so i suggest be vigillant and if you can monitor your trades 24/7 which is impossible do it!Me and my brother do a shifting trade, when i am asleep he is the one who is monitoring the market so we wont lose big amounts when the market started to collapse.
106  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ERC20 vs NEP5 on: February 09, 2018, 10:08:24 PM
NEO is an upgraded version of ETHERUM which makes NEO ahead on almost everything, that is why it is being called the chinese ethereum.ERC20 might eventually replace by these new and improved NEP5 neo based coins. But either of the two has good platform to use,it only depends on your point of view. But for me NEO has more advance technology than ethereum so i prefer the NEP5 tokens.
107  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you pay attention on advisors when choosing a good ICO project? on: February 09, 2018, 10:05:44 PM
Lately all the projects try to attract best faces onboard for their projects, I started noticing that they are almost the same everywhere. What things are more important for you? Are advisors one of the most significant criteria?
Advisors doesnt affect the project's outcome, you should read all about the things you need to know about your ICO so you wont end up crying because you lose your investment,You need to know that joining ICOs has more risk than trading alone. If you really want to invest with ICOs,choose an ICO that has a good working product/services,good developers, reputable founder, and has clear roadmap and whitepaper these some basic things you need to check.

109  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Real purpose of altcoins on: January 18, 2018, 01:48:57 AM
First of all I do understand the purpose of some altcoins such as BitCoincash (BCH) is trying to address the transaction throughput and txn fees associated with BitCoin (BCT).  The maximum transaction throughput of BCT is 7 transactions per second and BCH's maximum transaction throughput is 7 * 8 = 56 txn per second.

https://bitcoin.stackexchange.com/questions/57452/what-is-the-maximum-number-of-transactions-per-seconds-on-bitcoin-cash

I also understand Ethereum is different because of its support for the smart contracts.

There are few others which I could understand their purpose, but for the vast majority of the altcoins, I don't understand.

Many wrap their business objectives with ICO of the coin.  Which is great for raising fund to achieve their objectives.  Here is an example.  A new web site will support job free lancers.  They want to provide the IT infrastructure/support to enable that.  I think that is a great idea and many web sites already exist for that purpose.  But they are issuing new coin to support that business idea.  So the market consisting of consumers, who use the service and pay for the service using the new coins, and freelancers, who provide the service and gets paid with the new coins, need to obtain specific coins to use this service.

Now, let's take a step back and look at this.

We need various functions and services in our daily lives.  Do we really want to obtain different coins for different needs?

I personally am not going to go through with that.  I'll skip these service providers that are forcing me to get new coins and reach out someone who accepts existing coin(s) or fiat currency.

Will all these altcoins really survive the market?

My opinion is a definite NO.  The market only needs a few handful cryptocurrencies.  The rest will die out.  The question is not if, but how soon.

That is my opinion.  What is yours?
Great point of view,i too dont really think most of the alts will survive in the future, time will come that most of the alts wont have any value and only the alts that has product/services involved will survive because more and more people realizes that they dont need these crappy worthless alts in their lives.
110  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency card [chart comparison] on: January 18, 2018, 01:36:23 AM

111  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptos that have real world uses on: January 18, 2018, 01:33:25 AM
Theres a lot of cryptocurrencies that has use in real life, research is your key to find these potential altcoins, there are marijuana related, some credit/debit cards holding cryptocurrencies like fuzex, tenx, tokenpay, and centra these are the ones which has existing products, most of the coin in the CMC top coins doesnt have any use in real life and that sucks.
112  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Blood-Bath Over? on: January 18, 2018, 01:31:05 AM
it seems that we've recovered 100 Billion over night putting us right back at 550 Billion at the time of writing this. Are we heading back to 700B?

What do you think?
Morelikely yes, investors are coming in again, money from alts are slowly being transfered to bitcoin from time to time expect some bull run as the bears are finally tired.

115  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum Hard Fork Free on: January 18, 2018, 01:19:58 AM
Hello guys. I am newbie to crypto but today I bought 7 ETH when it was 780. What should I do know? My friend adviced me to fork it, like he did with bitcoin cash. But it's too hard for me and I can't find any info. Can anyone tell whole process how to get it for free now?
Search if your current exchange will support the fork,if not find another exchange like binance it will support the fork, get your eth to your binance's  wallet address and just wait until the drop in january 19,thats the only thing you need to do.
116  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The price is dropping so when is the right time to buy? on: January 18, 2018, 01:14:08 AM
Thats a good move buying more alts in a bleeding market,i personally does that everytime the market crashes for me thats the best time to buy cheap solid alts.
