102  Economy / Economics / Re: WHEN WILL PEOPLE LEARN? on: July 30, 2018, 07:10:19 AM
So saw many self airdrops of ERC20 tokens and wave platforms in social media. They would promise their investors a cheap token price purchase, and in turn promise a good listing price at the exchange. 98% of these self airdrop never make it to exchange, and the few that get listed in a decentralized exchange get pumped for 2hrs and there after dumped forever. Why do you think people still patronize these scamming project and not study good ICOs and buy?
Well for me people like to learn in their own way just like my cousin they learn it in their own way .
103  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What would you do with your winnings? on: July 26, 2018, 01:03:26 PM
I've read here a lot about "Gambling doesn't make you rich" So I thought about it, and it does make sense. So what do you feel about gambling then? Just entertainment? I think that's not everybody's mindset.

In the back of my mind, I want to be rich but not because of gambling. But when I gamble, I still always want to win. So when you always win, you become more rich and more risk will be involved. Anyway, if I would earn a winning bet that would have a lot of profit from, I would withdraw the initial bet or the bitcoins I deposited to get it back, then still gamble.

If you would have a winning bet that would give you a lot of profit, what would you do with it?
If i win a high amount I will buy a house and invest is and a can have a business for my income every day . that can provide all i need . i dont want to waste my winning in happiness like traveling but i want to use is for my own good to make a more money .
104  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: DO YOU BUY WHEN THE PRICE DROPS SHARPLY ? on: July 26, 2018, 12:51:30 PM
Good day, mates.

My strategy is to buy coins when the price drops sharply.

Sometimes I fail, because the price drops more than I expected.

But, to prevent this worse situation, I put 30% of my budget at the time of initial investment.
If the price getting down again, I put 30% more.

With this strategy, I am getting some money so far.

In conclusion, I recommend you guys to buy coins when they drops rapidly.
After sharp drop, there should be sharp rising.  Cool
Yes i will buy when the price is drop sharply because it is the best thing to get a much profits. Just like my cousin she buy when the price is drop that why she can earn a profits .
105  Economy / Economics / Re: Wise thing to do with your savings. on: July 26, 2018, 12:28:15 PM
I see that many of you actually liked the concept of 20 % method wherein you allot 20% of your earnings to be saved as emergency fund.
So I was thinking, if that 20% allotted will be invested in a time deposit kind of account, will it still be possible to earn as much or invest it in cryptocurrency? Or maybe just let the money sleep until such time you will need it?
What will be a wise kove to do with the noney you have saved up?
If i have a big saving of coin i will trade I just like my cousin . its ok if its a long term trade because i know the it will lead me a much profits
106  Economy / Speculation / Re: If Bitcoin's price depresses you. This is not a speculation topic on: July 26, 2018, 12:15:43 PM
All you need to do is look at this chart that was made during the "long bear market" of 2014 and believe. The estimate for 2017 reached its target plus more. I am optimistic it will reach its target for 2021 too. Plus more. Cool

Yes bitcoin is depressing me because the price of bitcoin is very low is like her hard to survive but I don't lost hope I'm still exoecting for the price pump is coming .
107  Economy / Economics / Re: Will Economy Grow Forever? on: July 25, 2018, 02:51:18 PM
Few people are trying to claim ignorance. They trust that the Earth's assets are boundless and that a bean stalk can develop to the sky. Or on the other hand maybe they know somewhere down in their heart that we are making a course for an ecological and monetary fiasco, one that they think only they will get by through minds, gold, and firearms.
Others accept intensely that innovation will safeguard us out once more, that smart primates will dependably locate another apparatus that will enable us to separate always stuff from the planet.
Up until this point. Changes in horticulture, back, government, assembling and transportation kept pace with the populace development.
The advancement in technology improved economy from past many years but do you think it will grow forever or their will be reduction in resources?
Well for me economy in a country can grow or fall it is depends how the government manage the countries . in crypto it is depends on investors if they are invest in economy it will grow forever
108  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What do you feel when win in gambling? on: July 25, 2018, 02:40:25 PM
really feel very happy to win in gambling, but it becomes a reference for us to play in a bigger bet again, because the desire to taste winning a gamble to be higher
Before you played gambling only in your mind I to win thats why you are aggressive to win and if you are win you are exciting and happy because you win your game .
109  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The consequences of gambling on: July 25, 2018, 02:37:02 PM
Pathological gambling can leave extremely difficult and long-lasting consequences per person!

They can be classified into several groups:

Physical consequences are happening due to frequent, stressful situations. A person which is gambling survives stress when finding gambling assets during gambling, in situations when he loses and wins, and finally, when he/she feels guilty because he/she gambled again. As a consequence of this condition, health problems are starting to appear.

Some examples are:
digestion disorder, headaches, insomnia, mumps, loss of appetite or increased appetite, increased consumption of alcohol and cigarettes or psychoactive substances, migraine, rapid heart rate, cardiovascular disease, skin diseases, dandruff, tics, trembling, increased sweating, and other stress-related illnesses.

Psychic Consequences from the gambling addiction can cause mental disorders, which are manifested by:
weaker concentration, poor memory, difficulty in thinking, frequent and inadequate mood swings, slowness, depression, impulsiveness, reduced motivation and narrowing of interest.

Also, there are also characteristic changes and the establishment of an addictive behavioral pattern characterized by behavior based on the "principle of affection," which is inherent in children, not the "principle of reality" that is inherent to adults.
Characteristics are:
lying, manipulation, selfishness, egocentricity, immaturity, insensibility, irresponsibility, negative attitude towards authorities.

In addition to these, other specific personality traits that are specifically connected with of gamblers are appearing:
parasitism, laziness, inability to deal with productive work, grandiosity, and omnipotence develop.

In the group of psychological consequences, the so-called comorbidity is also a rule, and not as an exception. With gambling, other psychological disorders are appearing such as:
nicotinism, alcoholism, drug addiction, anxiety disorders, depression, hyperactive pores, eye and attention deficit.

The social consequences relate to the problems that gambling causes in the social environment of addicts, in several areas of social life:

Professional consequences are first expressed in:
absentia from work, illness, poor quality of work, poor communication with colleagues and intolerance towards superiors if the addict is employed.
If a person is in the process of education, there are:
[color=greenabsences from classes or lectures, pauses in education or his break, worse results and grades, problems with colleagues and professors.
[/color]
Consequences in interpersonal communication - This group includes problems in communicating with people who are reflected in:
increasingly frequent conflict situations, fights, quarrels, criticism of others, glorification of one's own and degrading other people's work.
Communication problems arise: in relation to partners, friends, family members, colleagues, neighbors ... Relations with them become weak and superficial, and communication termination often comes to an end.

The economic consequences are often and most pronounced. Due to frequent losses of large amounts of money, constant loans from family, friends and at the end of taking money from the loaner, the gambler, and his family are beginning to suffer on the financial plan as well. It takes several years for the gambler and his family to recover from these consequences (provided that the person no longer gambles). Unfortunately, there is not a small number of those who never recover from these consequences.

Criminal-legal consequences arise mainly after all sources of money "dry up" from the family to those "from whom they could almost borrow". In order to get money, addicts resort to the commission of crimes and most often robbery -  stealing and robbery.

Family consequences are also included in a group of social consequences, but are, for the sake of importance, separated into a personal group. The problem of gambling is also the problem of the entire family system. Relations within family become worse, more conflicting. Communication among members becomes superficial and insincere and family roles are disturbed. The family begins to isolate itself from the social environment, contacts with friends and relatives are reduced. It will take a long time from the moment when it is learned that one member is an addicted gambler until the moment of this same gambler going to the treatment. During this time, the family is going through a paradoxical process, in which (despite the best intentions for the addicted member), it will contribute to various ways of further developing and pushing the gambler to stay in the addiction phase. All of this is a result of defense mechanisms by family members.

Thus, for example, following mechanisms of defense that are appearing in the wife and mother are:
negation-type - they are convinced that the gambling habits are only temporary - that's the current thinking, according to the principle "it will not happen to me".

minimizing - he/she is not a gambler he is just betting

projection -  society is guilty for everything, they have brought him in this phase

There are also other defense mechanisms but the list is too long to write them all in a single post!

However, by the time the family begins to face this difficult problem which brings consequences which are becoming increasingly apparent and they are trying to help the gambler. There is a range of measures; so-called solution such as:
prayer, conviction, quarreling, threats of divorce and abandonment, tracking and also the movement to another city.

All of these attempts are only temporary solutions, but they also create new problems, which are exacerbating an already unsettling situation. Only at this stage family members are deciding to seek the professional help!

My question is -
______________

Has gambling left a trace on you; if it has which consequences are you experiencing right now?
Thatd right when you played gambling you can stress and have a head each .because gambling is in your mind you make a plan how you can win .
110  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: how long you can stay without gambling? on: July 25, 2018, 02:33:11 PM
Some of the gamblers are addicted so much to these casino games so they can't stay without playing even a single day.

I can stop completely without gambling and can control myself.

How about you and how long you can control yourself for not playing these games?
I can live without a gambling but it is depends upon the situation .but as much as possible I don't want to live in a gambling .without gambling less problems
111  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The best time to take profit in Trading on: July 25, 2018, 01:54:15 PM
Cryptocurrency Trading is fun and captivating especially when you are always up with profit no matter the situation of the market, of course who wouldn't be happy when you are successful in what you do?
In many situations we are confronted with the choices of should I exit the market now or should I stay, and swiftly as this may be decision need to be made fast to be able to keep up with a moving trade. For day traders avoid exiting the market when the chart is already down especially if you are not at profit, it is better to take profit when you are comfortably at profit even though the market is still green and wait for a next dip than waiting till market has gone against you and you are struggling with cutting off more loss.
For me it is depends to you how you handle your trading .
But for me I want to a long term trade .
112  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you find Success in Gambling? on: July 25, 2018, 01:17:23 PM
With addiction as a side effect of gambling, I do wish to know what exactly the success rate of your gambling is. How many times have you not found yourself facing simply losses and that you still pin hope on success?

Gambling allows you to think that you will win every time in spite of the losses that you incur. You feel that success is just missed by a margin as thin as a hair. Every time you lose, you do feel that success was almost there and you could have had it almost certainly. And since it was almost a success story just missed by a very thin margin, you do not mind going in for another try only to miss again by a thinner margin! One success and you are happy. But does it stop? No. You feel that your efforts have now borne fruit and here onward you will surely win every time you take a shot in that game. But what happens? You lose again by a margin thinner than the previous time.

In this way we are lured every time for that success almost at hand, which we saw but could not get hold of. And we try time and again because it is so near. The truth is that you will find you end up losing everything in the hope of laying your hands on that success. Only the extremely self-controlled man will stop himself from further gambling the moment he tastes success.

True, many times one success can compensate for all the losses incurred. But what we miss is that that success itself is extremely rare. It is not a bad thing to have hope. But hope serves when we work hard towards success not otherwise.
I think no . because all we know that we cannot be a success in gambling .when you played in gambling you can loss or win it up to you .

114  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: When do you know its time to Stop? on: March 31, 2018, 12:04:47 PM
If you have a high tendency to not stop until busting, then I came across these tips which do help:

  • Don't put all your available bankroll directly in the game (in case you're using deposits). Leave always at least half outside as a security measure if you go bust.
  • One must stop after reaching a certain goal, The goal should be predetermined and shouldn't be changed during the play.
  • If you're doing really good, withdraw part of your earnings (if you can, ofc) to avoid losing it all in one go.

Having a big bankroll can make you feel falsely safe in that "oh I'll just keep increasing my bet until I win" but alas, the 30 reds in a row do exist, and will come. Do not let them take it all.

The goal you make should be realistic and firm, Don't change it or else be prepared to face bad consequences.

You gotta fight back the voice that screams inside your brain "Come on, double again and we recover!".
Obviously, when you are already lose everything that what you have you can't do anything but to stop because you don't money pr anything to continue the game.
115  Economy / Economics / Re: Would you still use bitcoins if the price would be stable? on: March 31, 2018, 11:59:20 AM
I am pretty much interested to know how many people here uses bitcoin because of it's system, because of the anonymous and the security it provides, and because of the fact that it is really easy to transact over the internet, and there's no one who can just block your account(unlike paypal, a platform that provides an easy way to pay over the internet, but you rely on PayPal to keep your account open).

So, are you guys using bitcoin because of it's nature, or because it's a financial tool of making money?

Well, I believe in the word that the success will not come because of the situation but because of what you've done to achieve it. Work hard and knowledgebis really important, so if the price is stable you need to use your knowledge and hard work to gain success.
116  Economy / Economics / Re: Buying a house with BTC on: March 31, 2018, 11:49:38 AM
Can you buy a house with BTC? Yes! All you need is a buyer with coins and a seller that will accept them. The value of the transaction is as of the date of the contract, when the coins change hands.
You are right mate, you already answer what you are asking lol  Grin in my country innover 100% of our population i think over 70% know about bitcoin so there is possibilities that people here accept that as payments if they are seller of house & lot.
117  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do you get the latest news? :) on: March 31, 2018, 11:45:19 AM

118  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: In this down market how your doing? on: March 31, 2018, 11:42:35 AM
In this very disappointed day of red market or huge dump market that are really painful and sad to all of us we can't do anything but to wait for the green market to pump again, nothing else.
119  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Which knowledge is important for crypto trading? on: March 31, 2018, 11:40:27 AM
first buy a stash of bitcoin, and just hold it.

use a small amount to just do play-trades on different exchanges, to get to know the ways.

follow all the news about bitcoin

reddit/r/bitcoin
this forum here

read into the tech stuff a bit as far as you understand, look the technical advantages of alt-coins, the mining properties to get a glimpse of market swings.

like BCH is sometimes more profitable to mine than BTC.

learn to know when these times are, learn how the market reacts and then react according to that.
You're right mate. You don't need to put all your money in one coin if you know that there are some cpins that has potential then place you money part by part or divide your money. For you to profit atleast 3x to 5x.
120  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Better investement right now, bitcoins or Altcoins. on: March 30, 2018, 01:21:56 PM
If I planned on buying some coins today. Which would be the better long term investment, and why?
I am much more prefered on alts right now since btc is the master of the dump but there are still alts that are really fighting the red market. Better alts now.
