101  Economy / Economics / Re: Why have Bitcoin instead of cash? on: June 20, 2017, 04:07:20 AM
What's stopping people from using both Bitcoin and cash depending on the circumstances? I for one would like to use whichever is the most optimal for the task at hand. Say you need to travel abroad and decide not to bring cash with you and there people on Localbitcoins will try to rip you off by offering crazy rates for your coins, couldn't it be better to use cash instead? Or you need to send money abroad but don't want to pay more fees via a bank transfer then you will send Bitcoins.
102  Economy / Economics / Re: Do You Think Bitcoin Will Replace Dollar Soon? on: June 20, 2017, 03:41:18 AM
No, not very likely, for a good number of reasons: the actual demand for 'sound money' by the broad population is somewhat overstated by some in here, and the major economic players (countries, as well as a multinational corporations) likely favor the status quo, so they're not going to try to convince the first group to switch to crypto either.
103  Economy / Economics / Re: Tell me your predictions about Bitcoin on: June 20, 2017, 02:36:50 AM
Security is a big concern but yes bitcoin will reach new height by year. As predicted 10000 USD is not so far Cheesy

The major obstacle I see is adoption, which is hindered by security and non user-friendliness. Many newbies are losing their coins and that’s not good for the network in the long run although it increases the price of bitcoin in circulation. Another thing I would like to bring on board is government’s approach toward bitcoin. If we could not do something to prevent it from being criminal’s currency then not only governments but also rest of the world will have a poor point of view towards us. We can always deal with small issues like price fall (just like current one) as we have dealt with it before this.
104  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you store your bitcoins? on: June 20, 2017, 02:19:37 AM
I don't have a large amount of bitcoins that I was afraid of losing them. So I keep their savings in simple wallets. Only I use multiple wallets. I even credit card do not keep a lot of money. Probably the most simple and affordable solution to protect your savings

I prefer using online Bitcoin wallets for my easily accessible coins that I need for daily life and a paper wallet for everything else that is not needed urgently and that goes into long-term storage. I haven't decided on buying a hardware wallet yet as I am quite happy with my options at the moment. If I am going out and need btc, I will put some on a mobile wallet like Mycelium or BitGo.
105  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Is Not Garbage, Embrace It on: June 19, 2017, 04:22:29 PM
I swear when I read stuff like this (the original article) it just has to be FUD. I just couldn't be bothered to research a topic I wasn't actually interested in; the level of detail in these articles suggest a level of involvement that makes you question the writer's motives. You know this much about bitcoin, yet you see so few redeeming qualifies? Doesn't sound genuine to me.

I think these guys buy on the dips they create, using their platform to temporarily effect the price. If bitcoin were regulated like other assets, stuff like that would be illegal Sad
106  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Solution to high taxes: get a second job lazy... on: June 18, 2017, 04:09:02 PM
Yeah bud this isn't going to work in the least, the reason that people complain about taxes is simply because of how much money they're going to be taking from whatever you make. So if you're going to be making more money from another job you may even go into a higher tax bracket (IF IN THE UNITED STATES) and be taxed more on what made it into that tax bracket.

You're not going to save money by working more, you're still going to get taxed. Gosh, I see why some people just aren't able to make it in the REAL WORLD when people like OP come out and say this sort of dumb shit. Don't call people lazy either, dam you're not the brightest of the bunch.

LOL.

I don't think this person has ever had a job. It's pretty obvious you are going to get taxed anytime you work on America, if anything this will put you in a different tax bracket like you said. The extra cash would probably be really cool to have though Smiley

You could work under the table, but if the income is enough to make a difference around the house, the government is going to get their piece of the action.
107  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Kill American children for shock value on: June 18, 2017, 04:04:18 PM
Target american children under 10, serpents will wake up soon enough, when we slit the throats of their infants. Whites or blacks for best results.

You are going to grow up to be a terrorist one day. You really might want to relax a little bit and consider what you are saying, and where you are saying it. Sad

This section of the forum is really crazy.
108  Economy / Economics / Re: The future of the paper money on: June 18, 2017, 04:03:57 AM
Even there's a lot of coins in the market or even the price of digital currencies we're raised up, I think that paper money were still used in the future. Because paper money were more usable for the people who cannot know how to use bitcoin.

If you read history, we go through these cycles. Paper money and hard backed money go through cycles, taking their turns as the dominant form of money. Never before have we existed this long on a paper fiat system. Hard money, whether through a basket of commodities or some other form will become our form of money again. The question is when?
109  Economy / Economics / Re: Why do people keep saying BTC is dead?! on: June 18, 2017, 03:23:29 AM
Maybe this is one of there methods/way to make the  price of bitcoin drop then if ever that happen
some of the community will get panic but of course thats not going to be happen.
Yes I agree with you many people do like that. Today I saw a person who was saying to one of his friend that the price of bitcoin will drop tomorrow and sell him the bitcoin with him but when I heard that I told him that no it will not decrease but it will increase more just need to wait for long term.
Don't believe to the FUD and just believe to yourself. If you know what is right and wrong then you will not be able to get fooled by the hypes or FUDs in the market or any people that surround you. It takes time to get the price to the top because this kind of market is not an easy game or easy to manipulate and it takes real demand, money and time to make things great.

When you read how many people believe in bitcoin, just on the forums and Reddit, you can see all the talks about death are actually -crap-. Some people don't have other jobs, so they our wasting our time and their's on  unnecessary considerations and doubts without true reasons. Trolls gonna troll.

Some people just want to influence the market by speculating a lot of bullshit, but this is how it's going these days.
Another reason can be because they are hating on bitcoin and lost a lot of money Smiley
110  Economy / Economics / Re: The Real Reason to Hold Gold And Bitcoin on: June 18, 2017, 03:12:44 AM
Holding for the long term is the safest strategy, but probably not the most porfitable strategy.

If you are willing to take a little risk with short term trading then you can make way better profits with bitcoin than with gold because bitcoin does fluctuate a lot more than gold on a daily basis. $100-200 gains in a day with bitcoin is actually quite common. If you can manage to roughly get your average buy rate under your average sell rate then you are able to make a decent chunk of coinage.

This is only recommended though if you are an experienced trader with at least 5 BTC capital. If not, it's best to as OP said hold bitcoin for the long term as well as some gold, wait for the economic collapse/hyperinflation and you'll be able to liquidate yoru bitcoins for much more.

Gold is very hard to beat, even if bitcoin reaches high prices, and that is due to the fact that bitcoin has an unstable market value and is kind of risky to put a lot of money into (you should only invest money you can afford to lose Wink ), unlike gold which has been around since the dawn of time. Good will always be the superior safe haven asset, because it is stable, but I think it depends on the person, essentially, how long they are willing to wait for their projected growth.
111  Economy / Economics / Re: Best way for steady income on: June 15, 2017, 05:42:29 PM
Thanks to bitcoin and online earning opportunities, I believe we could make steady income with many other methods and not just only through regular jobs. Because the opportunities one could get from Internet is really unlimited.

Recently I come across a friend who is making enormous amount of bitcoins and fiats through affiliate marketing and some freelance works. I'm very much sure no regular job could pay us this much. When we are working for some reputed projects, we could expect steady income from them for years.
112  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: (Matter Resolved) on: February 17, 2017, 03:02:56 PM
Sorry for the delay, was basking in the warm glow of my old account. I can confirm, and while this is my misses' account, she never uses it, might as well call it mine.

Thanks again everyone who assisted/attended to this matter  Smiley
113  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Beware of Hero Account GreenBits *Account Compromised* DO NOT TRADE!! on: February 12, 2017, 06:12:16 AM
Excellent. I would ask the members that have made reputation marks concerning this matter to withdraw them. Please note our arrangement, and return them should the contract be violated (I would ask that you neg rep me as well if I should fail to honor the contract myself).
GreenBits, I have removed my negative reputation. Note your renewed trust. Thank you for your assistance in this matter, and should we resolve this, I will vouch for your other account, and give you a positive reputation.

114  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Beware of Hero Account GreenBits *Account Compromised* DO NOT TRADE!! on: February 12, 2017, 05:56:47 AM
Alright, we have had a civil discussion, and made an arrangement. The account will be returned no later than Friday of next week, and upon return of this account, I have agreed to pay .015 btc as a show of solidarity. I legitimately believe he was deceived.

So, if GreenBits will affirm this, may the forum note this contract. I will remove the negative reputation, but reserve the right to add it back if the contract is violated.

115  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Beware of Hero Account GreenBits *Account Compromised* DO NOT TRADE!! on: February 12, 2017, 02:14:21 AM
I have to ask man, this didn't set off any warning bells for you? There is a giant "proceed with caution" on like every screenshot.
116  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Beware of Hero Account GreenBits *Account Compromised* DO NOT TRADE!! on: February 12, 2017, 01:20:38 AM
I just found out about 30 minutes ago that my Hero level account has been compromised. Please do not do business with this person, it it not me!! This is the last post made by the actual owner of this account:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1674677.msg16878532#msg16878532

All post after that display a lack of:
Good English
Good advice

Again, DO NOT trade with this account. Also, be wary of the users that have added to my reputation score, only the older ones are valid and the ones that have been added since the account was compromised may be shills, and suspect by association.

Thanks for letting us know but as you posted in November last time from that account, what took you so long to know that this account has been hacked?
Haven't you tried to log in ti it since then?

I'm pretty sporadic, I'm only really here when I'm speculating (check my posts) or to shit on scamcoins (i got tired of screaming into the wind). I post to make sig funds here. I literally came here because I noticed I had expired on the yobit sig camp ( due to why else, inactivity). When I attempted to login, I couldnt. When I attempted to pr reset, I still couldnt. And now we are here Smiley
117  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Beware of Hero Account GreenBits *Account Compromised* DO NOT TRADE!! on: February 12, 2017, 01:07:55 AM

118  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Beware of Hero Account GreenBits *Account Compromised* DO NOT TRADE!! on: February 11, 2017, 10:15:15 PM
I assumed, you have an opinion about American politics (you felt the need to mention that I mentioned Trump). Usually people outside our borders don't care about our politics (with the current situation notwithstanding, it's been a shitshow). So I apologize if I assumed incorrectly. Assuming makes the proverbial ass of you and me.

But I will state I think you aren't being genuine, or you are one of the rare birds outside of Russia and the USA that support #45.

Its no matter. May smell fishy, but you will truly see how marine it gets if you trade with this account and get fucked. Good luck people, I'm done with this. Fake GreenBits, you can shoot me the PM's, or the neg rep can stay up, I'm beyond this.

Have a blessed day people, and Keep it Classy.
119  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Beware of Hero Account GreenBits *Account Compromised* DO NOT TRADE!! on: February 11, 2017, 09:53:30 PM
" If those txids he showed are legitimate and he did indeed pay for this (despite how suspect that sounds), it is indeed his property. But it belongs to me. And I try to be Christian, but it's really fucking hard sometimes "

How the FUCK is it his property ? ?

I have a car . Its stolen by someone who sells it to someone else without telling him its stolen .

Does that mean its his car ? Is this indeed his property ?

Get over yourself . I dont know if you are up to something or just a fucking loon .

Either way its still fishy . And dont reply with any politics shit as we dont really care .

Yeah, until you get it back, it's his. If I steal your woman, for example, with my charm and ample dick, if she never comes back to you, she's mine. Even if you are married. Be she a car, a female, or my goddamned account. That's kinda how reality works friend. I apologize. It makes me upset sometimes too.

Also, man you are a salty bastard. You need some easy D.

#makeyougreatagain
#makepoliticsmakesenseagain

Edit: it just occurred to me we live in America. Didn't we like, take this whole shit from the dudes that are already here? You might even say stole it. But yet, it belongs to you and I (and Trump). You starting to understand what I was trying to communicate now?
120  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Beware of Hero Account GreenBits *Account Compromised* DO NOT TRADE!! on: February 11, 2017, 08:08:00 PM
I've heard they aren't to motivated to complete this process, and Theymos really insist you be able to sign a message.

And yes, the IP should be firmly rooted in the US, NC to be exact, cuz I live there  Grin

And, while I agree you should never buy an account on a forum (it's an avatar, the fun is in actually building it), I don't know this guy's situation (the buyer). Could be a kid. Or could be a guy, with kids. This stream might feed said kids. Or hookers and blow. I dont know any of that. But I do know I was injured by theft, it would be rude to pass that along if it isn't necessary. Besides, stolen property is still property. If those txids he showed are legitimate and he did indeed pay for this (despite how suspect that sounds), it is indeed his property. But it belongs to me. And I try to be Christian, but it's really fucking hard sometimes  Grin
