People on meetups seem to like Neo & Bee a lot. Smiley

Do you update the front page in regards to the size of your company i.e. where you stand, where you want to be in a couple of months etc.?
103  Economy / Securities / Re: [BTC-TC] Deprived Mining Speculation (DMS) on: February 07, 2014, 03:55:34 PM
Someone posted a list of all MINING and SELLING dividends for the last couple of months (gdrive iirc) which I didn't find on the last 10 or so pages. Can someone point me there please?
104  Economy / Securities / Re: [Havelock] Bitcoin Difficulty Derivative (BDD) - Now Live! on: February 06, 2014, 06:18:21 PM
Rannasha is in the right ballpark when it comes to the benefit of my managing the fund.
The beauty of a thing like DMS, BDD, eltopos ET.DIFF etc. is that you don't have to trust the issuer because it's obvious he or she'll make more money doing this honestly than scamming people. Guess what that means or at least should mean for you concerning disclosing your source of income, especially if there's doubt about your previous ventures. You have "some kind of deal", undisclosed, doesn't quite cut it...

Does something like a gag order exist in UK? Tongue

Now you are suggesting CipherMine to take over the DMS funds completely. That means they 'deprived' all the shares of one of their investors and use them to setup a new fund. Although we, the investors of DMS, will welcome this solution definitely, we cannot deny that it is completely illegal.

Not at all. I am proposing a new manager for DMS. This could only be done if it is proved Deprived is dead or legally incompetent to continue. It would not be illegal. We could sue his estate if it refuses to deal with us as we have a contract with him as asset holders. Would it be a lot of work? Possibly. Is there an alternative? I can't think of one.

That is why it is important to find Deprived, or find out what happened to him. Nothing will change until that is done.

2FA is good news! Now can you also provide a "Total" field in the API where it says what your available + in orders securities are? Right now you have to iterate over your orders to get the total amount. This is especially tedious because in-order ctb are called 'ctb_btc' i.e. by pair but 'available' is shown as 'ctb' in the API.
If I just missed it please also point me in the right direction. Cryptfolio shows wrong totals because of this, too.

Maybe Kates/CIPHERMINEs creation? 21st we will know more.
112  Economy / Securities / Re: [BTC-TC] BTC Growth: Capital Growth via Hedge Fund-Style Investing on: October 13, 2013, 01:22:52 PM
What's that, you don't want to hand over all that detail to an exchange? No problem then: just find some dude named 'Guido67', give him some cash, and hope for the best. I mean, it's all anonymous, right, so who cares whether Guido67 knows up from down?

Ah hey, I got his real name "Charles Ponzi", he seems to know up from down. I even got to see a copy of his driving license. Now I'll just give him some cash, and hope for the best.  Wink

Real names tend to provide a false sense of security where there is little to none.

isn't just an immediate deal-breaker
Immediate deal-breaker.

If it's just about "who-owns-what" and speed of an exchange doesn't matter, why don't you wait for colored coins?
114  Economy / Securities / Re: [BTC-TC] CIPHERMINE.B1 - a virtual corporate bond with a 22% fixed-fiat APR on: October 12, 2013, 03:10:32 PM
Between all the CIPHERMINE threads on litecoinforum and here I still haven't found a definitive statement on what will happen to non-"major shareholders"' of CIPHERMINE.B1. This is important to many people cashing out on DMS pairs, as a percentage of the proceeds is paid in CIPHERMINE.B1.

Will CIPHERMINE.B1 be traded on the exchange you're creating?
Will the dividends be sent the same way you tested with the CIPHERMINE sendmany experiments?

I note that Kate has indicated that since she is only committed to looking after the interests of "major shareholders" in her operations, she recommends that "those of you with a small number of shares...take what you can over the next week...ie. [sic] sell them...":

As far as I am concerned (for MINING), I'm ok with direct shares / direct dividends, Google Docs or whatever (friedcat style...)
The fees for MINING dividends would be prohibitively high. The same is true for SELLING dividends in a couple more diff. changes.
116  Economy / Securities / Re: [BTC-TC] Deprived Mining Speculation (DMS) on: October 09, 2013, 09:05:34 AM
The only reason for DMS to stop trading (other than Deprived quitting) is if the difficulty remains constant, decreases or only increases by very small amounts for quite some time.
Deprived quitting, btct.co going down, bugs in bitcoind, new legislation, big mining farms ceased and 51% attack come to mind. Also that way you don't have to have a btct.co account.
Will DMS be traded at the end of 2013?

117  Economy / Securities / Re: [BTC-TC] Virtual Community Exchange [WINDING DOWN] on: October 08, 2013, 06:12:07 PM
Withdrawing money will be set to manual withdraw if all of the bid orders aren't canceled before.
If this happens to you as it has to me, just cancel the manual withdraw and all your bids. Then withdrawal is possible.
