Transactions must be included in a block to be properly completed. When you send a transaction, it is broadcast to miners. Miners can then optionally include it in their next blocks. Miners will be more inclined to include your transaction if it has a higher transaction fee.

Thank you, BTCThousandaire.
Is there a way to transfer ASICMINER-PT shares from BTCT to BitFunder? I think the method you provided is for TAT.ASICMINER.

ASICMINER-PT is not owned by different people, it's owned (operated) solely by Burnside. You can transfer ASICMINER-PT to Havelock, where TAT operates a passthrough (details: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=148350.msg3222057#msg3222057) Any ASICMINER-PT shares not transfered in this way are converted to direct shares when BTCT closes. Once you have direct shares, you can either hold them or transfer them to BitFunder (or Havelock, I suppose, but then you might as well take the direct route).

Sorry, what I meant was the passthroughs on Bitfunder and BTCT have different owners.

Thanks for the list. About ASICMINER to direct shares, you just have to wait and Burnside/Friedcat will link them to your public address. This will happen around Oct 11 afaik.

Here are the options for BTC-TRADING-PT shareholders: - 1. Sell your shares on BTC-TC (currently at approximately 2 LTC each) until trading is halted.
- 2. Redeem 10 shares for 1 share of LTC-GLOBAL until the exchange closes.
- 3. Wait for a disposition of the shares after the exchange closes and receive any remaining value.
