Couple of orders filled on Kraken over night.  I'm not sure if the dumping is over now, looks to me like there might be another leg down 1st.

I am considering selling part of my stash here before I go to sleep but I'm afraid to wake up to a higher price...  Undecided

I wouldn't be afraid, looks like the Chinese have woken up in the mood for dumping. I am going to sleep with bids set up at $480, $460, $440
103  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: August 13, 2014, 02:35:37 PM
Why it this happening?  Huh Huh Huh

Turns out the president of Bitcoin is Mark Karpeles, did you not read the news?

Seriously, I think a few reasons:

Probably bored market, everyone's holding off for the ETF's etc so very little movement as everyone sits and waits waiting to see what happens there.

Summer holidays

Ethreum sell off

Bit of manipulation from larger holders

People just getting bored of things happening and wanting to get out

104  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: August 13, 2014, 02:34:04 PM
Things are looking up a bit now but not going to get involved again until I see how the Chinese react over night.
Liquidated all of my Bitcoin at $560, now just waiting to buy back in.

Today doesn't feel like day trading, it feels like potential damage limitation, my Bitcoin were practically free, but I still feel like I'd have a severe case of remorse if it dropped further and I hadn't sold.
105  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: August 12, 2014, 09:58:44 PM
This has to be the weakest bull trap I've ever seen. It will break soon followed by several more weeks of sideways down trending. TERA tried to tell you all this but you drove her away for having a "contrarian" opinion.

You're so right, man!  My bitcoin that was worth $588 yesterday is only worth $570 today!!!  What a devastating crash, a btc crash to end all crashes!!

(In. case. you. can't. tell. that. was. mega. sarcasm.)

And it was worth $600 a couple weeks ago and worth $630 a week before that and $680 only a couple months ago. You're welcome to keep holding if you'd like, but smart people are reducing their exposure right now.

...and $450 three months ago. Forgotten that?  Grin

Well, I think that represents where we're going again over the next few weeks. You need to remember that in May everyone was calling for the next huge rally in late July. There were graphs and TA everywhere calling it, and much of it looked quite convincing. All it took was a small spark to ignite that frenzy up to $680, but when nothing materialized, investors lost hope again.

What do we have to look forward to now? There are some half heartedly calling for a bubble in October or November, but I don't think they even really believe it. We're all just blindly hoping now, so I think a return to the April/May price levels (or lower) is just about inevitable now.

I believe you are wrong. Time will tell.

Don't read too much into the metrics often used to show adoption increasing etc.
That's not to say there aren't signs of growth.

Just need the user adoption to go up at the same rate as merchant adoption is!

Hi Slush,

I contacted support about joining the affiliate scheme and they've told me it only applies to people who have hands on experience with the Trezor, ie people who've bought one.

I bought one in the pre order with someone on here ( 2 for 1 offer)

Is there a way I can join?

I do affiliate marketing as a job and have generated a few million in sales this year for Bitcoin related companies and would like to be involved.

Thanks,

That's it,  crypto ponzi is going to POP. Big people earned enough money, now it is time to exit.

Good one  Cheesy

Just re reading Chromosoma's posts.. Hilarious, calls for $300 at every tiny drop! He/she sounds like a broken record.

Looks like the big wall around 575 was removed.

About 1000 lots were removed.

It was moved to $560 the other day and is still there.

Thanks for the advice, she hates the smell, but doesn't mind the taste on my lips. What cigars would you recommend I smoke and give to close friends and relatives?

Country: cigars are either Cuban or non-Cuban. Cuban largest brands are Cohiba (best), Montecristo, Partagas, Romeo & Juliet, plus many others.

Thickness: 50-60 gauge is the most enjoyable, about 40 is the daytime cigar, 30 is a small one and 20 is cigarette thickness.

Length: does not matter as much as thickness, so Robusto (short but thick) is generally good.

For a special occasion, Cohiba Robustos/Siglo VI or even Cohiba Behike works perfectly. For guests, you can give cheaper R&J Wide Churchills that really pack a punch Smiley

Thank you, I have been smoking Montecristo's lately, they are my favourite!

Rpietila, you have not posted any cigar suggestions in a while. I am getting married next year, what would you recommend for the occasion?

You wife will probably not like the smell of cigar in your mouth, so I recommend wiping your tongue with toothpaste several times before the night.

For example, they re paying 40€/month for their smartphone contracts, and then they are surprised, that they have no money.

If you are paying more than 10€ per month for your phone, well then you are one of them.
Phone contract expenses are not the worst, there are people who complains about not having money while spending 200€/month on cigarettes...

Never smoked before I was a millionaire, not even once (except in the army when I once got two free cigs).

...but NOW my phone contract is 50€+ and 500-1000€/month go to cigars, plus the car is 1000€+ and then the castle expenses Smiley

I think it all boils down to the understanding of cash flow and exponential function.

Rpietila, you have not posted any cigar suggestions in a while. I am getting married next year, what would you recommend for the occasion?

Looks like we are about to find out if the wall at $575 is real or not.

Just received the following mail by KNC.
What happens if I click on the link ? My second miner is automatically converted to the "Hash while you wait" offer or I end up on a page where I can chose ?

Quote
Dear Michel Dupont,

As you are a Neptune customer, you are entitled to take up our Plan B offer to “Hash While You Wait” until your miner ships, or to continue waiting for your order and select either a Neptune or Titan miner as your additional 2-for-1 offer miner(s) free of charge.

To activate your account please click the following URL/Link https://convert.kncminer.com/xxx where you can choose your option and setup your KnCCloud account.

Your hashing will begin shortly after you have setup your account, provided you’ve made that choice on the Neptune Order Options.

To ensure you receive all the power you've paid for, please ensure that your account is up to date with your wallet address to receive your Plan B mined Bitcoins.

Hashing will stop as soon as your unit ships out from our factory.

If you have any questions please contact: info@kncminer.com

Thanks
KnC Miner Team

If you want to keep your second miner don't switch to "Hash while you wait"
That's why it's unclear to me.

I received the same email today ... too funny, the symantec's they use!

Are you Batch 2 as well?
