Hello guys, it is unfortunate that many people fail to achieve and succeed their project ( like, ICO ...) , and many stop in the first attempts ( especially when there is a big failure) and become disappointed.
According to my experience, I want to give some steps to succeed any project, they will be as the following:
Step 1 : Focus on your goal ( project) because your energy will go to him:
Focus on what you want, not about what you do not want, and when you say to yourself that you will make a successful project ( there become a positive energy (+) inside you), then your focus will follow your thinking.
Step 2 : You must have a futuristic vision for what you want:
The futuristic vision pulls you to your project, and helps you in achieving the best , also when there is no vision , there is no hope to succeed.
Step 3 : Choose the right map ( strategy, plan) and the appropriate teacher :
The map may change in each situation but with that you should search for a teacher who have a good knowledge on the field of your project because he/she can help you to take a shortcut way to achieve your goal.
Step 4: Overcome the fear of failure and the internal conflicts:
One of the biggest obstacles which leads to project failure is the psychological problems.
And fear is one of the most widespread problems in many people ( fear of what will happen in the future, like that , Will my project fail? , Will I lose a lot of money? ..) and to overcome this issue, you must resolve the internal conflicts,
Firstly, you must know the internal conflicts that exist in youself ( like, your focus on negative thoughts )
Secondly, you must organize your life by choosing the most important things or goals for you, which helps you to achieve your dream ( project).
Thirdly, get starded.

Title says it all. If you're looking to invest in an ICO or pre-ICO blockchain project, what's 1-2 attributes that are most important to you? Market size/potential? Management team? Technology that is distinctive? Strong white paper? Social media following? Other...
Aaaaaaaand go!
From starting my own project I can safely say to you the following; Market size/potential? Does the project have a real world solution to a real world problem!? Many ICO Projects out there are doing some willy nilly solutions that do not mean anything for anybody.... ultimately there is no demand Management team? Absolutely - when VC's invest in a business idea they do so because they believe in the person starting the project. Its not so much to do with the project itself but with a team that can carry it through. But CAUTION is warranted here - just because you see pretty photos on a website does not mean that project will be a success or isnt a scam!!! Beware of this because this is the place where most go wrong.... Technology that is distinctive? Distinctive is good but a real solution to a real problem is even better... Strong white paper? A bit ambiguous here - for me the just is 1) is the problem clearly understood and defined and 2) is the solution provided realistic? Social media following? Once again - there are so many services out there to grow social media numbers - you can see a twitter profile having 100k+ followers, or even a BTCtalk ANN with 100+ pages but its not necessarily organic at all  Its a bit difficult to distinguish on this one but look for projects that have sincere followers asking sincere questions, and do not fall for hyped coins!!! |

This I am quite hesitant when it comes to investing in ICOs, I usually go for alts that are in the top 100 of market cap at least.
Don't you think its a less risky option?

This is a fair approach!!! Its a risk - reward thing. There are ICO projects with sincere developers with real word solutions to real world problems and the potential returns far outweighs what one can expect to make with a top 100 Crypto since investors need to be rewarded for taking on the risks in the 1st place! I think the best is to find a project/s you believe in much alike to conventional stock and then appropriate like 10 - 20% of funds with those. This way you can diversify and generate returns out of projects that may be the next top 100 whilst keeping your funds relatively safe. |

By 2020 I forecast ETH to have taken over BTC in Market Capitalization for 1 simple reason;
Ethereum is a platform through which many other projects will be based and as more sincere projects come forth the demand for ETH will pick up.

Perhaps its a self fulfilling prophecy because the market is dictated by fear and greed.
Firstly greed leads to a condition of "bubble" as players flock to the market in chase of unrealistic returns and the flood of participants causes asset pricing to soar through the roof giving the earliest participants those returns.
This leads to second condition of fear as these participants have chased up asset prices causing more and more to fear the eventual downturn and they start withdrawing causing a drop in prices which sets a course of more fear leading to further selling pressures.
The worst is that the Market Makers know this and they use it against the market to reap in massive profits!!!!
