101  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Too late for mooners hoping 50x-100x to join the party. Boat has left on: December 20, 2017, 09:54:46 PM
Fortunately, there still seems to be a spaceship thats ready to launch to the moon. It's just waiting to get fueled a little bit.
Its the XSpec Rocket, i have good hopes for this coin, although my doubts if it will in the end win from monero.
102  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do you think BCH will replace BTC in the future? on: December 20, 2017, 11:45:38 AM
Yes i think it will take over.
The high transaction fees, older technology, the team focussing only on improving bitcoin cash now....
The only reason bitcoin is better is because its the only coin that can actually used for payment.

But im a firm believer of that newer -and- better tech will replace older tech, especially if that older tech is also more expensive.

But since butcoin dominates so much, it will take time.

I dont think other coins will take over because bitcoin cash already has the name of bitcoin. This automaticly creates hype and research and therefore investments. Especially upcoming chances are looking good and now more and more accepted by trading ans buying platforms.
103  Local / Nederlands (Dutch) / Re: Verkopen Bitcoins doorgeven aan belastingdienst? on: December 19, 2017, 05:16:01 PM

Create a blog related about tokens and their project base your reviews in facts that's what I'been trying to have , something like ico-listings but to be available for disccussion, good luck with this I think if you make it like I say it will be usefull
Isnt this website great for discussion about it?
Im not the kind of blog guy. My english isnt the best and i dont feel like reading attacking comments on mistakes i made.

This is why you do your research and draw your own conclusions.
New coins usually have a background if you do some digging.
I would not trust my money on a new company that cannot show or prove its successfull past.
106  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is it too late for someone with a small savings to get involved in Bitcoin? on: December 18, 2017, 09:42:52 PM
A friend of mine began talking about Bitcoin with me a few months ago... When it was valued at $2,000 a piece. A price point in which I can work with!
Within what feels like a blink of an eye, it's now at $15 k and all I can wonder is how a "small timer" like me can get involved. Have I missed the mark?

When Bitcoin price was $500 also many people was talking that it is the end and Bitcoin will be dead soon. Now you can see how it looks.
In other words there is never too late to invest in Bitcoin even little amounts! Wink

I dont think this is true anymore for bitcoin. My reasoning for that, is that bitcoin fees for transferring money is crazy right now, and that there are better and better alternatives around.

Sure bitcoin is most popular, but slowly and steadily people realise that this hyped bitcoin isnt even the best coin. Its just the most valuable right now.
In the future it will probaly rise more, but at some point the maximum amount of coins will be mined as well, and then what?

I rather suggest bitcoin cash, as it also generates a fair amount of hype. Hype is important, because that attracts people to it. Since it got some positive development in the near future, i think this coin is only going to rise. Probaly nowwhere near the "real" bitcoin, but still worth investing in.
(again, better alternatives then bitcoin cash in terms of coin abilitys, but that does not take away that alot of eyes and investors are all over this coin, purely because the name "bitcoin" in it.)

Ok ok, not entirely new, i have been lurking quite a while now  Grin

I hated the lottery, i hated stock exchanges but with cryptocurrency i love it. Instead of getting a 0.000001% chance to win alot of cash, i now notice (currently anyway) that the chance to make money with crypto's is like 50+ percent.

Since i've always liked doing research to products on the web and am quite experienced in digging out information through different channels on the web, i have gotten myself a new hobby.

My starting money is quite small, but i do hope to spend more on it each month. And where spending more money - i also will probaly be spend more time on it.

I estimate i spend around 3 hours a day on it or so, researching into interesting altcoins.

I also noticed i like this hobby not because its for making money, but for the futuristic promises it brings. Syscoin a marketplace not influenced by big corperations, or with golem a way to hire a supercomputer without paying tons of money. Imagine what that horsepower of CPU capacity can do to improve the planet! Or simply the payment methods that are anonymous. Yes its unfortunate criminals can use it, but this is the future. Consumers will be paying out less to the big corps and finally the balance of the world will be made a bit better, bit by bit.(ok bad pun Tongue) Kids are grown up with digital lives, and this is the next step. I think "real" money will become less worthy in 10 years or so, and crypto's will become better.

So i'm looking forwards to speculations on this board and doing my own researches into coins!
