101  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The danger is the addiction, not the odds on: February 12, 2019, 07:19:42 PM
Yeah, cause i just realized that i'm doing betting just because my friends are gamblers, at first i think it just for fun but when big game comes, we all like giving our salary just to bet and also it's hard to resist not to gamble with your friends.
You are really in touch with your friends, you can't easily escaped from that if you never want it to do.
Anyways, there is no problem gambling with your friends but you just set a limitation. Cause it will never be good anymore if you'll get into addiction.
Friends are just friends and I know they will understand you if you'll never do gambling.
i already talked to them about me getting hooked by gambling, of course they understand they said that it's okay to gamble as long as i can control my bets and have fun and they will be there if anything goes south about gambling. that's why i'm just doing some side bets and bets to the team and players that i support.
Yes, that is very true, in fact it is not dangerous to become addicted to gambling, but I personally think that the most dangerous is to lose our control over our emotion. A lot of people are there who play gambling for a long long time but they have their control over their emotion and therefore they still continue playing gambling in an effective way.
102  Economy / Economics / Re: When the government forbids cryptocurrency on: February 12, 2019, 06:52:10 PM
If the government of your country forbids you from making use of Bitcoin or anything cryptocurrency, then you should respect the law and not try to do things that are not allowed there.

There are lots of places where the use of cryptocurrency is not allowed because their government believes that cryptocurrency will bring harm to the countries economy or such. It’s left for them to decide, whether they believe it’s bad or good, it’s up to them.
103  Economy / Economics / Re: Institutional money into Crypto? on: February 12, 2019, 06:25:23 PM
I don’t really see anything wrong with that. Bitcoin is not actually owned and controlled by anyone or group of people.

Although it can be manipulated, that’s why you are being told the price is based on the rate of demand and supply. Those who are rich will invest a huge to pump the price and when it happens they will quickly withdraw and price will start to fall again. So if they invest their money, the only thing that’s going to happen is that price will rise and that’s it.
104  Economy / Economics / Re: More Countries Continue To Show Support For Blockchain Technology on: February 12, 2019, 05:54:21 PM
South Korea Slash Tax For Blockchain Startups by Over 30%. Blockchain companies operating in South Korea had some good news to cheer on in the past week as the country took a bold step to encourage the growth of the industry.

https://www.addisonchurchill.io/south-korea-slash-tax-for-blockchain-startups-by-over-30/
It’s good to see that there are lots of countries that are showing support to Blockchain and Bitcoin too. In my country, it’s quite a different case. I hardly see anyone talking about Cryptocurrency where I live and the government never talks about it, even if they do, never seen it.

I hope that others who don’t show same support gets to realize the good side of cryptocurrency and the blockchain and begin to show the support too.
105  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin prices will continue to fall on: February 12, 2019, 05:18:02 PM
Analyst prediction is just a speculation and it's never guaranteed to happen, so many predictions that a bullrun at the end of 2018 will commence but it didn't. I think it's best to prevent listening to those so called experts and just let market do the thing then react accordingly.
Yes, we don’t really know that yet. Sometimes it is not what you expect that happens.

Right now, everyone is saying the price of cryptocurrencies will fall and just like you have said, lots of them have predicted the price to decrease to $2,500 this February, but the price has gone up to $3,600 instead of the $2,500 as they have all predicted. Right now I wouldn’t want the price to go down again, and it’s going to take everyone by surprise when the bull run comes.
106  Economy / Economics / Re: Is Bitcoin Worth To Be Currency? on: February 12, 2019, 03:00:11 PM
I have seen a lot of people say that they want cryptocurrency (Bitcoin) to be their currency, and my question is – why do they want Bitcoin as their currency ?

The worst part of it is that they never give any good reason as to why they want it, all the reasons they give are just stupid reasons. Some of them are saying because their government is stealing from them and they also want to be anonymous…. That’s not a good reason, and Bitcoin can’t be a currency, because it wasn’t meant to be so.
107  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Did the use of online gambling increase with crypto moneys? on: February 12, 2019, 04:13:22 AM
This has given the possibility to gamble even to countries where the goverment is repressive about gambling.

That's very true, i watch a documentary once on how crypto gambling is breaking barrier in Africa country like kanye and uganda the youths can now gamble freely wthout the fear of getting arrested or traced. The blockchain technology in collaboration with cryptocurrency makes everything it get applied on looks more attractive, easier and dencentralized, gambling is benefiting from that.
No doubt crypto currencies have increased the use of online gambling, people now can play gambling without visiting a casino but can play it from their homes, even in such countries where all formats of gambling are consider as illegal even there people can play gambling very safely and without being trace by law and forces agencies. The use of crypto currencies no doubt increase the gambling activities especially in young people.
108  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is there any valid reason to continue gambling? on: February 11, 2019, 07:21:13 PM
Lot of people keep continue their gambling activities since they lost some amount of money in so they are doing it for recovering it but what will be happen actually if people doing this they will lose more and more then regret about it after everything happened.

Some people continue because they enjoy playing and they are entertained  . while some continue because they want to increase their winnings .  but yeah majority are comming back to revenge  .  i think they didnt regret at all because that is their choice  . they choose to continue even they already know that gambling is pretty risky  .
Well, I personally cannot see any valid reason to continue playing gambling, but I can see that most of the people are arguing that they play gambling for fun and enjoyment, I think that there are a lot of other means of getting fun and enjoyment, they why do we need to put our money in risk here.

In fact most of the people play gambling only for one reason and that is to make money in a shorter way.
109  Economy / Speculation / Re: I expect the market to be in green throughout this month. on: February 11, 2019, 06:50:22 PM
don't forget that bitcoin has never stayed low this long, this is a record in both length and size of the drop.
What will be the point of staying low for longer period ? Will bounce back more harder or something else ?
I guess there could not be any significant importance of how long a bear market is persisting. A bear market will continue until new investors will be joining right ?

I guess that we never need to worry on this as speculation about upcoming halving will be more than enough catalyst to attract investors to pump the bitcoin markets.
110  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC To Under 100$ on: February 11, 2019, 05:14:07 PM
There are too many coins now, like really too many. We can't allow bitcoin to go under 100 dollars ever again because that means all other coins will go down as well and we are in a crypto space that is run by so many people that if bitcoin goes under 100 dollars that would be the end of many people. I am sure there will be people who kill themselves, literally commit suicide, there would be people who are unemployed, there would be homeless people, there would be people with huge debts.

Basically, before that happens there would be thousands of life ruined (probably 100+ thousand globally) and that is why people will not allow that, they will spend the last penny they have on buying bitcoin and still try to keep it up. This is the exact reason why bitcoin won't drop that much.
111  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is the main problem with the crypto market at the moment? on: February 11, 2019, 01:59:48 PM
A lot of things has been said about why the crypto market is facing this down trend, and a lot of them has focused on ETF approval being the main cause. But for me I just think this is a normal thing and they are just using that as an excuse.

Whether all these things they have mentioned is approved or not, the price of Bitcoin will still go up, alongside many other altcoins. This has been happening for long, but they always have one excuse or another to use for it. I just think nobody knows the cause, but as to whether the price will go up, that will happen for sure.
112  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crime Effect of Gambling - Your thoughts! on: February 10, 2019, 05:07:04 AM
i believe Illegal Drugs,Prostitution and even kidnapping is happening inside casino, theres alot of cases in asia when mostly chinese nationals are abducting each other just to claim money from the victims family
Well some casinos may be promoting such kind of activities, but I think that gambling is not only played by wrong people, I can see a lot of people who play ambling and their only reason is to release their stress after day work. They always play gambling in a pleasant way and under their budget. I think we should also highlight the god aspects of gambling.

Though i am also thinking that government officials are part of this illegal activities becaue this involves lot of money
This must be a hard truth about how the legal system is working and leading to support the growth of illegal things. By considering all these, I just want to take a resolution of not at all gambling in physical casino so that I will not support them in any means.
113  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What currencies do you gamble with? on: February 09, 2019, 03:48:25 PM
To be honest, I have chosen only the fastest transacted cryptocurrencies. For this, I used Bitcoin at the initial stage but later on moved to another one just because of lack of speed.

But Now there are many options avail to make transactions blazing faster. Stellar or Ripple offers the fastest transactions, which gives more mobility speed, security, and transparency to users while using them as a currency.
Although a lot of casino now accept different crypto currencies for playing gambling, line bitcoin, ripple, etherium and some many other crypto currencies, but I personally like to play gambling using bitcoin and etherium. In fact I feel it more easy for me to use bitcoin or etherium for playing gambling.

https://www.babypips.com/tools/gain-loss-percentage-calculator

It's not very helpful for Bitcoin because of the significant figures accepted by the calculator, but I think you could form an idea now about it.
Is it ? But I do see it is just a calculator for forex traders or for any trader to find out their daily profit or loss percentage.
After deciding to gamble, we should not bother about profit or losses. If you get profits then it is just a bonus for gamble more tomorrow. If no profits, then you need to assume that you had paid some fees for your entertainments. That's all. No need to calculate anything in gambling as it is a place to spend Wink.
114  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Want to quit? Here's how on: February 09, 2019, 09:38:37 AM
I wish that every people who were still playing gambling could know how to quit from gambling and they can quit gambling in anytime they want
~snip~
I wish that way so there will be no more addiction, gambling has to be part of the entertainment activity in our life, it should not dictate
us on what to do. Getting addicting is a cause by our wrong action, it's not hard to learn and be discipline gambling if we know how to implement our strategy and be in control of ourselves.

Unfortunately this is not the case because gambling most of the time controls the people. It should be other way around that people should have control over themselves and they should know when to quit.
I do not think that it is so easy to quit gambling specially if you have become addicted. People want to make big money in short time and they think that gambling is the only option with them, so they start play gambling which make them addicted, and after that it become difficult for them to quit gambling. I think that we should play gambling in such manner that we should not become addicted and it always remain easy for us to quit gambling at any time we want.

For an addicted gambler, no tips nor suggestion will work until they realize themselves about the importance of quitting gambling. Only if they try with full-hearted, they can be successful in quitting it.

118  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Pre-Season on: December 30, 2018, 12:55:07 PM
Rockets had a very rocky start as well as Lakers and both teams look like they are on the path of playoff match ups.

One of them will eventually face against warriors before they face each other but if Denver keeps this up there is a high chance Lakers and rockets face at semi finals as well.

Rockets started to be better after Melo left (well he technical didn't "leave" he is still there, just not playing) but I doubt it was about that really, just because of one player you can't be THAT bad, but they are much better right now thanks to Harden giving a real effort on offense instead of just chucking up shots, they have a much better offensive strategy. Boston changed a lot as well, they were great defensively from the early one but their offense was horrible, miserable.

Now that they picked that up they look like the Boston people expected from the early season. It is really a great time to be an NBA fan, Warriors-Lakers-Rockets-Sixers-Raptors-Celtics all have a shot at the title and that's really exciting.
119  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Suggest some good token. on: December 29, 2018, 01:25:48 PM
Some investors are specifically going for coins (and not tokens) for the reason of POS and master-node no kind of easy mining rewarding. Other than this I'm not seeing any differences in investing in coins and tokens as long as their developers are active and the total project is based on by good concepts.
Wow, that sounds like a great idea like we may get double benefits if we choose such coins for holding. We will get usual profits when those coins price will increase and due to staking rewards we will get extra coins, right ? Could you please take time to suggest me such coins for long term holding ? I am ready to risk as per your suggestions. If your time permits, please suggest me few good staking based coins.
120  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Should i trade on this market ? on: December 29, 2018, 07:40:34 AM
Should i trade on crypton-wallet.com. I have to deposit 0.015 btc to verify my account and start to trade on this market. Have anyone withraded from this market? Pls give me a feedback
No, you should not. When a service is asking money for verification how you can trust them ? It would be much better to stop right away and look for some other services. I guess no other exchanges are asking money for the reason of verifying accounts. If you are aware of that then you will never ask such question to this question.

I guess already many people had suggested their best to you. Hence, you may go for locking this topic.
