If you mean adoption, then I believe the reason why no one is adopting cryptocurrency till now is because of its volatile nature. I don’t think anyone is ready to take such a risk; you put your money into it, only to wake up the next day and realize that the amount you put in yesterday is no longer what you have there. So that’s why nobody is ready to make use of it.

All my friends that I mention it to always talk about the volatility. They say that they believe that it (cryptocurrency) is an investment that is very risky. They see it as an asset and not as a currency. And there is big risk involved.

sad truth about it. those who invest while the price was its ATH felt like they are robbed already because of what happened. it doesn't really look like this is done by those who believed in crypto and blockchain enthusiast by heart. but tokens being dump for money will always be the result. we all need to profit. ifthere is something to be done to make money is dumping which this problem in the crypto market don't be solved.

I think at the moment is the absence of complete decentralization that is how Blockchain was invented for to be clear and decentralized but today lots of services and exchanges are regulated by the government which is not right and it can influence on the market as well because they can try to manipulate the price. Using exchanges like iDEX or EtherDelta try to solve this issue the same as an upcoming exchange DexAge using using p2p Escrow Trading will implement its features in decentralization as well thus government won't manipulate the exchange and the price.

I believe the Chinese festival is part of the things that lead to the recent fall in the market starting from last week ending. But as for what started the fall, no one has really made a good point about it. So, I’m just believing that it is a normal thing for the market to go up and down since it’s based on speculation and all that. But there have positive predictions about the market and how it’s going to end this year. Hope that it happens just like they have predicted.

True. Crypto is way riskier than casino itself. However this being said I believe that to buy and invest now is much less risky then it was last year from February till end of December. Last year we were in a bear market. Now we are about to explode into a huge bull market.

A lot of things has been said about why the crypto market is facing this down trend, and a lot of them has focused on ETF approval being the main cause. But for me I just think this is a normal thing and they are just using that as an excuse.

Whether all these things they have mentioned is approved or not, the price of Bitcoin will still go up, alongside many other altcoins. This has been happening for long, but they always have one excuse or another to use for it. I just think nobody knows the cause, but as to whether the price will go up, that will happen for sure.

I totally agreed with what you said because crypto market was always fluctuated in price and every time an ATH is achieved dump in price or market correction should be always expected because some people will some to send their holding and the correction will occur to create another open doors of opportunities. Therefore, I also disagree that ETF was the cause of the previous and current market status.

I think that the main problem of crypto is it's high volatility.
This volatility issue could be said to be one of the reason why potential investors are discouraged from investing in the market, it is a turn off to them.
Tis problem is also decreasing adoption rate of the blockchain technology.

Continues high volatility is a challenge. Right, we need mass adoption. At least we need to see some sort of signs for adoption. I think it is coming however we might need to wait for another year.

I believe that the main problem with cryptocurrencies currently is scamming activities that now dominated the cryptocurrencies market.  Many people has lose significant amounts through icos investments and some of the projects did not exist outside whitepaper.  I don't think people treating cryptocurrencies as speculations of gambling is the problem but the other way round.

As the market matures you are going to see less and less scams. I have lost £16000 with 2 icos. So I know what are you talking about from first hand experience.

Once crypto gets easy as using a credit card, we will see adoption. No adoption = problems.
I think that ETF may have effected the bitcoin, but I think that it is not the only reason causes the price to fell down, I think that that the most important is the confidence of the investors, once the investors will get confidence on bitcoin price I hope that they will again start investment there and price will hopefully start increasing.

Right confidence is going to increase with trust increasing. When Bitcoin increase 4% then altcoins will increase 12% especially Yggdrash:)
Good times ahead. Best time to invest.

Due to the market situation, I guess some projects are getting affected as well that's why there's a big chance that projects will be abandoned and not be funded or it can end up into scam.

Yes, the market can mature, but how about investors though?

2017-2019, we haven't seen any drastic change, ICO projects are still running, and majority of them are scams. Investors are still willing to put their hard earn money and then complain later.

So I don't know if we can ever see the market mature or what indications that we can say it has learn it's lessons very well. Only time can tell.

There would be always end to to this. We cant really hurry up for the entire market to mature since it would happen gradually as the time goes by.About investment matters
i cant really deny that there are still lots of ICO's exist nowadays and there are still some few who do invest with it inspite of the current market condition.

You are talking about other people but look at your own views are not thy so distracting so better not to think like this, 2017 price was high but it is crypto currency which has the most volatile nature and it use to get bigger and down as well, so I am sure 2019 price will be high once again, problem is negative mind set of investors who are making wrong predictions on behalf of their limited knowledge.
