101  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Not yet an end for crypto on: January 22, 2019, 08:15:07 AM
A lot has really happened, most especially in year 2018. Despite that, many have the hope and aspiration of a better market in 2019. Although, there are glimpses to show that the market is likely going to recover, but it might not be happening in this first quarter of the year.
Peradventure there is recovery, those who left out of discouragement, might come back to gain back their loses.
102  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Pump after dump? on: January 22, 2019, 08:14:28 AM
The market presently is unpredictable, that is talking on a general note. Whenever there is an uptrend, you might not be able to fully rely on that, until you are able to have stability for a long period of time.
Sometimes, when there is stability, there are people who enjoy bringing the market down again and they have a way of manipulating it, to suit their goal.
103  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: what will happen with ethereum. on: January 21, 2019, 11:35:27 PM
There are times you might not be able to predict what the outcome of a coin I'll be, except you have the right information at hand.
Most times, those who buy and sell coins, always search around for updates, by visiting the different of their social media platform.
So, had it been you had the info that will help you at hand, it would have been flexible for you to determine what to do about ethereum.
104  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitter Truth on: January 21, 2019, 11:31:12 PM
The point at which bitcoin is now, is more like a threshold and it seems to be the lowest it can fall to, which is not below $3000.
Some of those who bought at $5000, thinking that the price was already at the lowest, are waiting for time that it will rise again.
Although, there are also some, who have been able to trade in between and have got back their initial investment capital.
105  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should We Trust Blockchain ? on: January 21, 2019, 11:24:18 PM
That an exchange was hacked or that the hardfork of ethereum has been postponed, does not mean that it is the fault of blockchain.
There is no fault with block chain technology, because it is an advanced for of technology, that we are yet to fully explore.
We humans determine a lot of things, but we cannot alter the data in blockchain.
106  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will it still last? on: January 21, 2019, 11:19:28 PM
The first thing I know us that cryptocurrency cannot be scrapped and neither can it be banned. So the longer it stays, the more tendency we begin to understand how useful it can be to us.
At present, cryptocurrency is already in use in some aspects of life, most especially as utility tokens in some ventures of life and many businesses. The reason been that, it is seen as the best means of payment than the traditional payment system.
107  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Buy on ICO or buy after being exchanged? on: January 19, 2019, 03:55:41 PM
If you are not a pong term holder of genuine coins, then you may not bother to buy on exchange, but you may be surprised that there are certain projects that still trade above ICO price, after listing. Although such cases are rear. The level of your research and how much you understand how most of these projects operates and the market system, will help you to project correctly what will happen.
108  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Be careful of strange projects on: January 19, 2019, 03:28:17 PM
Most of those who fall victim of these shit coins are those who cannot afford to devote the time to do the appropriate research needed to decipher the authenticity of the project.
I noticed that there are specific exchanges where those coins are listed, so i try to avoid them as much as possible. If peradventure i have no choice than to use them, i do not carryout my regular trading on it.
109  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto currency unpredictability on: January 19, 2019, 06:41:08 AM
Prediction is inevitable in situations like this. The reason being that, you cannot be 100% sure of what will happen. So you predict based on the information at hand.
There have been lots of probable occurrences in the crypto space, some happened as predicted, while there were many predictions that went wrong, most especially by experts. This is one of the reasons i do not rely on their predictions. Rather i prefer to do my own research.
110  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I have to invest in bitcoin or ethereum. on: January 18, 2019, 09:40:06 AM
The best time to come in and invest in any of the two or even the two at the same time (BTC and ETH) is when you have discovered that their prices are low.
I could remember when ETH was around $80, some people were afraid of buying more of it, because they thought the fall would continue, but eventually, it started rising.
Some of those who could afford to take the risk, bought some and later sold for profit.
This is how investment are done most times.
111  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will bank and crypto industry unite or be linked? on: January 18, 2019, 09:30:58 AM
If this will happen is it possible that decentralization be compromised?
Both can work hand in hand, based on mutual understand, but most times, banks or even some organizations prefer to use blockchain  technology and not cryptocurrency.
The reason being that they are trying to avoid decentralized coins. Banks prefer what they can control, alter and have full authority on it.
They truly understand the benefits, but are afraid to dome extent.
112  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: THE BALL IS IN YOUR COURT on: January 18, 2019, 09:14:43 AM
If you decide to joining so many campaigns at the same time, just because you want to make it big, you might not have the time to carryout research on those projects. Which might eventually lead to you promoting scam projects and result into you not bring paid.
Take your time to analyze and do quality projects. This way, you will able to get good rewards from bounty.
113  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Am I cursed? on: January 18, 2019, 09:10:59 AM
It is not as though you're been cursed or unlucky. It is mainly because you did not tasks your time to study or analyze the project and its prospects before making the decision on holding or selling immediately.
This is one of the mistakes that so many bounty hunters make. They believe in dumping immediately they receive their rewards. So when they later realised that most of the tokens they dumped later pumped. Then they may decide to hold the next and it turns the other way round.
114  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What happens to unshared bounty tokens? on: January 18, 2019, 08:24:02 AM
Not distributed according to the idea should be burned, but something can hardly be believed. Most likely, they are sold in the future.
That is the issue with untrusted bounty managers or team. Transparency is sometimes an issue when it comes to some ICOs.
There were some projects done in the past, who gave the entire tokens to those who were qualified, but this is mostly done when the project is managed by the team itself.
If the tokens are distributed by the managers, they are likely going to be held back by him, if there are leftovers.
115  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Fighting for bounty hunters right on: January 16, 2019, 09:09:05 AM
Presently, there is no particular body or organization that fight and defend the right of bounty hunters.
Although, I have seen two different campaigns, where bounty participants protested their rights and the team hard to rescind her decision.
One of the projects did not want to pay initially and the other wanted to extend the time for bounty participation.
116  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: predictions of 2019 on: January 16, 2019, 09:04:16 AM
Prediction most times does not seem to work in the crypto space. Although, there are times you would see some coming to pass, but that does not mean you should base your decisions totally on them.
If you are good at reading or interpreting graphical trends, then you might be able to make some good predictions that will have high precision.
Sometimes those who predict also manipulate the market.
117  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Postponed ICO after bounty campaign on: January 16, 2019, 08:56:47 AM
The team of the project understands more what is happening in terms of sales. So they are in the best position to know what will work for them, except they are not professionals.
I took part in a project called PharmaTrust. This project postponed its crowdsale, because its target was to make hardcap. When the sales was later opened, INA short while, the hardcap was met.
118  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Who will be the new king on: January 16, 2019, 08:42:35 AM
Just as much as no one can say or predict what will happen now or in years to come.
So also, no one is sure of the coin that is able to replace bitcoin. Ethereum has the ability to grow and to have more mass adoption, but it is still not close to replacing BTC.
Bitcoin is likely to remain in that position with no replacement in any way.
119  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is CMC still safe at all ?? on: January 16, 2019, 08:33:23 AM
Based on my own definition, "I see CMC as crypto display screen." It is a site meant to give you information of coins that are listed on it. If does not screen these coins whether they are scam or not. So it it left for you that is investing in those coins, to do your own research and be sure you are going for a coin of your choice and that will not cause you any firm of loss.
120  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which cryptocurrency is best for storing money? on: January 16, 2019, 08:09:25 AM
Holding your coin is quite different from you saving it, and there are some risks attached to it, which you should understand before you invest into it. So save yourself from loosing, you should either save in stable coins like GUSD, TUSD and others or you buy coins that are well established. Such as coins like BTC and ETH, but it will be good you buy them when their prices are low, such as what we have now.
