Its a bloody joke First couple of pools were sank now using http://cham.altcoinpool.net been there an hour and not a single thing. Noting in unconfirmed but the pool has found loads of blocks. More fucking scamming going on. |

Why locking the accounts at pool? Usually when the coin is not yet released, people can register and log in (so they can set up workers and preferences), but they can't actually mine (no stratum or coin daemon running, nowhere to point the miners at)
Once the coin is available and coin daemon compiled at the pool, just run coin daemon and stratyum and voila - the pool starts and everybody can mine
I have logged into the pool and set everything up. Its not showing as locked for me |

I have been mining alt coins for last 3-4 months. Been hanging around these forums for a while and watching all the new coins come out. Mined a few others just to hold a small bag but I must admit when I read up on Digibyte before and on release and then watching progress since I am defiantly putting all my mining into this coin. Feels like its the only real challenger out there to take over the market. Great work guys.

Simple fact is Mr West DOES NOT own the intellectual rights to the name COYE or COINYE. These names have also been removed as a reference to him by removing the West from the name.
This means that he now has NO legal right what so ever to sue or block the use of a coin with these names.
Continue using it and stick 2 fingers up at this jumped up layer who is pushing his luck and knows damn well he would lose in a court or law in any country.
I agree with you, but lawyers don't have a problem with convincing a court of law this is plagiarism/infringement simple because it derives from Kanye  Read that letter. Where does it say the layers are going to sue  it doesn't. They know they cannot sue for someone using the name cote so what they state in the letter is.. We will tell the crypto community lol. The initial letters that went out when the coin was coiyne west were threatening court action which they had a right to do. Now that its called just coinye it has separated itself and they know this. So now they know they cannot use court action so they are trying to scare people.I agree... however if a Little change on the name could help with the legal issue maybe dev team should do it. COYE --> KOIN or KOYE or thinks like that... +1 Change the name now and post an official thread stating that the coin longer has any reference to previous coin. Hi,
Digibyte, in my mind, is a very good crypto. I am mining this coin because I can see a lot of potential in this coin. The dev team are right on top of the game and pushing this coin with superb marketing and advertising. They already have online stores accepting the coin and this to me is a sign of a very good future,
