102  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have any one had experiences with banned bank/providers because of gambling? on: December 20, 2023, 09:22:54 PM
Banks are prohibiting any gambling transaction in our country, and this is why we are not using this directly and even when accepting crypto, there’s still a chance for you to get investigated and your account will be freeze. Banks are quiet strict when it comes to this one and you can’t do anything about it because its their policy and your only choice is either to follow it or you will start looking for alternative so you wont experience the same problem.
103  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: Binance to offer $500,000 worth of Airdrop daw? on: December 19, 2023, 09:23:17 PM
Is this legit? Or just trying to hype this token again since its a meme token and alam naman naten kung gaano ito ka hype. Well, let’s see kung magkatotoo ito at may konting SHIB naman ako sa wallet pero better not to expect that much. Siguro may certain task and need na transaction bago maqualify dito, its worth to try if you have more SHIB and hinde naman macocompromise ang wallet mo.
104  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The most difficult times on: December 19, 2023, 08:54:15 PM
You are right. All of this is not easy, trading requires a lot of flying hours, even one or two trades does not make us immediately understand everything. we need more and more experience to really mature here. Trading is not just about making us rich quickly, it requires mature decisions in taking action as well as high flying hours and being prepared to take high risks too. I am quite sure that people who survive in trading are genuine business people who are not afraid of losses and have a lot of flying hours.
Sacrifices and hard work always present at first but the moment you are able to over come this, I’m sure you can tell easily how worth it your journey is and yes trading is not an overnight success because it will always take time. The process to become a good trader requires time and a lot of effort, there will be mistakes at first and many losses and if you will not give up, I’m confident that you’ll succeed in the right time.
105  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which type of gambling have more gambling addicts ? on: December 18, 2023, 08:44:25 PM
We may not have the data for this but for sure, every game have their own addicted players staying and wasting their money. You can be addict in most of the games and maybe slots machine are more prone to this because its easy to play and we know that addicted gamblers always depend on their luck. I personally know someone who got addicted in slots machine, now he’s on a recovery period and the whole community know his story, I just hope that we continue to help addicted players and don’t judge them easily.
Maybe yes pero they are not active since you need more time here and we know naman na they are very busy.
Marami naman ang mga celebrities na nagiinvest na sa crypto and i think this is more important.

This forum is designed to those who want to know more about cryptocurrency and have a discussion about it, pero since super busy nga nila baka hinde na nila ito kailangan.

Again, hinde naman talaga advisable to hold sa kahit anong exchange at syempre marami ang FUD dyan kaya wag  magpapanic basta basta, sa ngayon let’s wait for final decision and believe that Binance is doing something about this.
108  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Logic of some gamblers against math on: December 16, 2023, 04:56:32 PM
Hi guys. Someone will explain to me why gamblers have such a strange logic: if a gambler has received a huge multiplier, then he will not withdraw this money. And he will continue to play, saying, "if I'm so lucky, I'll be lucky again now."
But according to the laws of mathematics, the chance of such luck becomes much less, doesn't it?
They are not thinking about the Math here actually, they are more focus with their emotion and thinking about the luck after wining. Gamblers can be very greedy after winning and that’s normal. Who will think about Math in that situation? Not unless you have you strategy in the first place then this is possible. If you are going to gamble and will able to get big win, make sure that you have your exit plan and know how to secure some profit.
109  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which one is fun, watching with bet or without a bet? on: December 16, 2023, 04:33:44 PM
Betting is fun but I prefer to watch and have fun without placing a bet because my focus will be on the game itself and not for the possible result of our bet.

We all know the stress of betting especially we always want to get the profit but the result is always different. If you are watching the game and still place the bet, then I’m sure you can still enjoy it since we all have different view when it comes to enjoying the game.
110  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Prove me wrong: Gambling is both more relaxing and entertaining than trading! on: December 16, 2023, 04:21:13 PM
You need to do a lot of work as trader in terms of market analysis than you would do when it comes to gambling before taking your decisions, however both involves calculation but you do more in trading.
No doubt gambling is more entertaining and a bit relaxed than trading because it already designed in such a way that it will be entertaining and fun but trading can be fun too when you understand the market and you are scooping some profits out of the market.
Considering the game display or even the casino vibes, you can easily tell that gambling is indeed more entertaining and fun to play compare to trading where you need to be more serious because in just a click, you can lose everything.

Trading needs your focus and you can’t win in trading if you don’t know how to analyze. If you want to be entertained and to have fun, then choose gambling but know that its risky too and of course no guaranteed return.
111  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino 🦘 on: December 16, 2023, 01:36:03 PM
Correct Roobet seems to lessen their way of advertising here in Bitcointalk and not planning
to add more anytime in the future as even their Signature campaigns are now running with 10 members from 60 regular members
It's pretty common for most casino after some years of launching themselves here. If you remember the likes of Cloudbet, Bustadice,Bitsler etc, they used to have lots of promotions here back in the day but as time passed their activity reduced in the forum.
Now I am not saying every casino follows the same path but sometimes these things happen.
Its the trend, and we cannot blame those casinos as redirect their focus into other things and that’s ok.
Roobet is still active in other things though especially on social media and every month they have promotions. Roobet already had their multiple campaign here, and its worth it for them, that’s why they are still here and not leaving the forum, so let’s be more positive and hope for a more years to come with Roobet.  Grin
112  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022–23 PBA Commissioner's Cup on: December 16, 2023, 12:19:32 PM
Took Magnolia ML @2.40
Nice timing, good lukc with your bet. Magnolia is a team that you can trust especially in the 2nd half as they are good in coming back. Paul Lee is playing, I thought he was injured last time, so this is a close Magnolia team that is down by a double digit. I believe they can make a come back in the 3rd quarter and we will have a close game in the last quarter.

By the way, it's already 77-75 now, ROS only is leading by 2 points.

Nice timing indeed. With two minutes left in the ball game, Magnolia is leading now with 4 points. Shots were not falling now for ROS like in the first half. It nice to see somehow ROS defeating Magnolia here but seems the experience and confidence of Magnolia is too much for ROS.
What a game for ROS, but still Magnolia shows a veterans move its just that they fell short.
I forgot to place a bet, lucky to those who took the risk for ROS. Well, PBA is getting more interesting when the top teams are playing, Magnolia incur their first loss this conference, too bad for them though, they should not be complacent next time.
113  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you take time to read the terms and conditions of casinos before registering? on: December 16, 2023, 09:38:30 AM
Some details about my curiosity, especially on the terms of deposit and withdrawal.
We know that the whole terms is too long and many will not spend that much time reading the terms. The casinos should make it more readable and summarize the important details of the terms. If the casinos made some adjustments or updates, they should also prioritize sending its details so the gamblers can be more aware of it and know the current changes.
114  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Market Correction on: December 15, 2023, 09:47:58 PM
Hi guys, The correction we saw in the market earlier this week led to a lot of liquidations. Were you or anybody you know involved in a losing trade that day? If so, would you mind sharing some details about it? Thanks, Martin
Every market have their own correction cycle and in crypto, you can always see it.
Those who got liquidated probably forget to set their stop loss and think that Bitcoin will finally reach its peak that easily without entering into any corrections.

As you trade, you have to be more conservative and lower the risk that you are taking, don’t ever trade without your target price and your cut loss price, this is a trader with a responsible decision making.
115  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: Airdrop Hunting on: December 15, 2023, 09:28:34 PM
There’s a lot of rumors para sa malalaking airdrop na pwede mangyare and I hope na sana this time ay makasama ako.

Sana may magshare den dito ng iba pang possible airdrop, will wait for some list here.
116  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can I ask for refund if casino game has bugs? on: December 15, 2023, 09:14:52 PM
First, how can you know there’s a bug and a gambler its not your responsibility to check if there’s a bug, the casinos should ensure the fairness of their games and if you are able to hit the jackpot, you should not be the one to suffer here because you’ve won in the first place.

Well, casinos will not let you win the jackpot easily and they can actually create their own bugs just not to pay you. The gambler should receive the reward, and if the casinos still refusing better to for a legal and ask for assistance of the regulations, for sure they have the policy for this one that protects the gamblers.
117  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you remember when Twitch banned gambling? Now they allow nudity! on: December 15, 2023, 08:59:51 PM
What a plot twist, is this also a live streaming of nudity?
Maybe there’s a big money for this compare to gambling and maybe this is more accepted by the regulation than to gambling. It’s hard to tell why they will allow this but if the regulations approve this then something is going on for sure. Let’s see if Twitch will stay longer without allowing any gambling streaming because for sure they are already losing a lot of money since they implemented this one.
118  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Craze for Meme coins never ends? on: December 15, 2023, 08:36:52 PM
The hype will always be there with meme coins and it may never ends as its consider as a seasonal token. Now that the market is rising, I’m sure the hype will be present again though of course not all meme coins have the same faith because some is a scam project and this is not new anymore with the meme coins.

We know the risk of this one, and we know how the hype works. Don’t over confident about meme coins, if you are already in profit better to sell right away and enjoy your profit. Usually, small meme tokens are not good for long term, so make sure to analyze and do your exit as early as possible.
Well, baka yang Malaysian na yan is already into crypto and aware sila about his money. Hinde talaga ito safe lalo na kapag exposed ka masyado, kaya better low key lang tayo kase panigurado hinde sya tatargetin ng mga kidnapper if wala silang idea about that guy.

Anyway, hinde naman na bago ito sa crypto and syempre hinde naman naten talaga ito macocontrol, what we can do right now is to stay still and focus lang sa goal, we know naman ang totoong value ni crypto.
120  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The need for mental section or public orientation for new gamblers. on: December 14, 2023, 10:42:25 PM
so I'm thinking if it would be possible for a thread or sub board to be created in the form of a mental  orientation section that people can just visit and go through ethics of responsible gambling, share experiences and current challenges faced as a gambler. It could just be used for discussions regarding responsible gambling and do if ones goes through the board or thread, while starting or going about his gambling, their will be check in his jar it as a result of peoples lives experiences he has read.
That thread if it is ever created will be a place of spam. All that anyone need to know about gambling and how to gamble safely is here. The search button is a tool that if used effectively will provide links to all the topics on gambling and mental health, the stories that a beginner need to be aware of.
It might help at first but sooner or later, beginners will just ignore it again.

What if a casino site requires every gambler to read the beginners guidelines and instructions before they can use the platform? By doing this at least they spreading knowledge about gamblers and they can help beginners to actually understand gambling and how risky it is. This might be a big hassle at first but its impact can last forever.
